Beautiful waterfall. It is a difficult hike and so not suited for everyone. You definitely get wet at least till your thighs. Put on shoes which have good grip. When you want to swim in de river/waterfall (which is very nice after a difficult and hot hike), I recommend wearing shoes as the rocks can be sharp and so you can hurt yourself. You can either change your shoes or swim with the shoes you used for the hike.
The hike is difficult as the path is not always clear. You also need to cross the river, the path and rocks on which you walk are slippery. At some parts of the hike, you need to use a rope and hang along the rocks to continue your hike. Hence, the hike is difficult.
After the first waterfall, you can use some stairs which lead to the second and third waterfall. Do know that when using the stairs, you can get charged as the other two waterfalls are in private property. It costs around $6 per person to use the stairs.
If you cannot hike the difficult path, you can also use stairs (same as mentioned above) to see all three waterfalls. In this case, you need to go to ‘Sun Trails’. This company has guides and owns the stairs. The location of this company and so the start of the stairs is not near the parking lot when you hike the difficult hike. The location is about 3 minutes drive up the hill.
