Found out about Montgomery Place Orchards through a Hudson Valley Instagram. Let’s just say they were right to highlight this wayside street market.
At first I thought it was just going to be apples, but it was so much more. There were onions, garlic, mushrooms, fresh breads, a variety of peppers, Concord grapes, and quite possibly more I cannot recall. There was also a place where there were the not so good looking produce that may have been marked less than the “perfect” looking produce.
In another room, there was a refrigerated case with cheeses, chilled beverages, and other goodies. Oh! And honey. This stand was a wonderful place to take a trip to. Will have to come back for the Apple donuts that were sold out by the time we got there.
