Montgomery Place Orchards

One of my favorite seasonal farm stands in the Hudson River valley. Consistently abundant and fresh. We love their homemade products as well, such as jams and pesto. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This is hands down our favorite farm stand in the entire area. They always have the most beautiful, freshest produce. Everything is neatly displayed, clean, and reasonably priced. I’m always looking forward to visiting and we’re trying to get as much as our groceries here as possible - you are what you eat!

Wow, what a nice farm stand with all kinds of apples, cider donuts and more. They have fresh veggies, and I was happy to discover that they sold book choy. They also have fridges with eggs, meat and more. I loved that they sold flower bouquets from a local place. They accept credit cards which is a bonus. Definitely stop after a hike at the poets walk which is down the road.

This farm stand is unique and Duches county as they focus on heritage varieties of fruit and vegetables that with care some of the best heirloom tomatoes I’ve had this season

Found out about Montgomery Place Orchards through a Hudson Valley Instagram. Let’s just say they were right to highlight this wayside street market. At first I thought it was just going to be apples, but it was so much more. There were onions, garlic, mushrooms, fresh breads, a variety of peppers, Concord grapes, and quite possibly more I cannot recall. There was also a place where there were the not so good looking produce that may have been marked less than the “perfect” looking produce. In another room, there was a refrigerated case with cheeses, chilled beverages, and other goodies. Oh! And honey. This stand was a wonderful place to take a trip to. Will have to come back for the Apple donuts that were sold out by the time we got there.

They have the best of the crop. There are certain foods we will not buy unless we buy it from Montgomery Place. They generally sell organic and you can taste the difference. We are locals that have our own garden and we know what’s real and what’s not.

I've been having an itch to visit a farm stand for a while and this one didn't disappoint 😁 Good apples, corn, and apple cider donuts. And in case anyone is wondering, this place does take card. I got nervous at first thinking they might be cash only lol

OMG Ludacrisp apples! Nature's Sweet Tart! Puckers the jowels a bit but you can't get enough of the flavor! Sadly, I just finished my last one.

I absolutely love this place. I love their fresh produce, some kinds that you can't find in the store. The people are very friendly and I love the atmosphere.

I love this place. Their apple cider is amazing and apples too. They should think about selling pies next year. I also love their mulling spice for the apple cider. The brand is Wildwood.

Love this farm stand! Delicious fresh seasonal produce and local breads, honey, cheese, steelhead trout and flowers. You can also find honey, pasta, granola and home made salsa. Friendly smiling service. Not to be missed! It is the Queen of Dutchess County.

Truly, one of my favorite places to grab fresh fruit and veg. I come here once a week through the whole season to grab all of my produce and it is always a highlight of my week. The staff is super friendly, the produce looks beautiful and there's always news stuff to try! Plus, they usually have samples out of different varieties of things so I can try it all. I do a lot of canning all summer too and they have a wonderful seconds section where they sell the "ugly" stuff for a cheaper price. I honestly couldn't recommend them any more highly!

I had training in the area and decided to stop in. This is a great place. Found some amazing apples(including one of my favs...Jona Golds) and the cider donuts are some of the best I've ever had. Wish I would've bought more . I would definitely go back

Absolutely superb place! A STUNNING variety of apples, complete with FASCINATING histories of each variety - really amazing! Service was friendly and informative and KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!! Oh and the doughnuts are terrific too.

Fruit heaven. I make weekly trips here - opening day through the fall closing. Fruit picked at perfect ripeness. Juice dripping down your jaw. LOVE the opportunity to taste all the many (80 or so) antique apples as they come to market August - October. And pears, pears, pears too. They also have wonderful produce from their farm and local partners. Farm made jam. Honey. Local eggs and cheeses. A jewel in our midst.

The best fruits and vegetables in the Hudson Valley, especially the many varieties of apples in the fall. Beautifully displayed, a trip to Montgomery Place Orchards is a treat for the senses.

I love every fruit and veggie from these guys. ALL Local. Not imported from Florida or Jersey. Family owned and operated. Grown with authentic LOVE. So spoiled by their quality.

Fabulous! The jams are a fresh change from store-bought, and the fruits are organic, delicious, and local. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Apples, Pears and vegetables are without a doubt fabulous. Customer service though is pretty bad. When a customer spends almost $50, the least you can do is not turn away his fiancee from using the Port-A-Potty. There is no excuse to direct a ill customer to go into Red Hook to find a public restroom. In the future I will shop elsewhere and make sure others are not affected as we were. SHAME ON YOU!

The farm stand looks like it came from a Hollywood set. And the fruits and vegetables match it-the quality and selection are fantastic. Over the season they sell over 60 different types of apples, many types of pears, plums, etc. And there are usually samples of each fruit for sale. But there's more: jams from fruit on the farm, greens and veggies from other local farms, bread from a bakery up the road and olive oil which a local Italian restaurant imports from their family farm in Italy. There's plenty more to say I'll run out of room soon.

Simply the best farm stand i've ever been to! Sweetest and most knowledgable people, highest quality fruit. Love these guys!
