"Nestled along the coastal shoreline of Nongsapura in Batam, just a 20-minute ferry ride away from Singapore, the Montigo Resort is a pleasant and unexpected way to escape. The buildings were built in traditional Indonesian style with lots of bamboo and open ceilings, and the 88 villas offer splendid views of the South China Sea. Each family-friendly villa has a kitchen fully stocked with crockery and cutlery, two bedrooms (one with a comfy king-sized canopy bed, the other with twin beds), and en-suite bathrooms. If you are thinking of having some quality time with your spouse or partner, drop the kids off at the Olo Kid’s Club. While they run around on the playground or bake cookies, you can treat yourself to a relaxing Indonesian massage at the resort spa."

Comfortable beds and 2 bedroom villa size was massive with nice seaview. Breakfast was great with big spread. Amazing and friendly staffs throughout the villa. The only downside was villa pool does not have any retractable awning so on heavy rainy days we are not able to enjoy the pool and the pool dining area was wet throughout those rainy days stay.

Just came back from our 2 night stay and want to say that it was a wonderful experience staying at the Montigo. Love the sheer size of our 2 bedroom, 3 storey villa. The staff are highly motivated, friendly and professional. Very private - you won't see the other guests till at breakfast. Food was decent - good. Will definitely come back again.

The resort provides a personal assistant service, handling everything from activity planning to dining arrangements, allowing me to fully relax. Getting around was easy with the convenient buggy service, making it effortless to explore the resort’s beautiful areas. Montigo’s exceptional service, beautiful setting, and thoughtful amenities make it a fantastic choice for a relaxing getaway.

Ever wanted to feel relaxed this is it. Hospitality is great. Nice and calm relaxing place. You will see the staffs going beyond to help you with your requests. Will definitely revisit many times. Definitely recommend for families, fully safe. Right from the ferry terminal to the hotel and back to the ferry terminal, you got nothing to worry about.

Our first stay here was truly enjoyable—a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The breathtaking room view was simply mesmerizing. The food was delightful, and I especially missed the breakfast buffet, particularly the dessert section with its wide variety. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. 😊Oh, and there are plenty of activities within the resort, like kayaking, paddleboarding, and other water sports.

After foot reflexology at the spa, felt hungry and requested the buggy to send me and wife to Pantai restaurant. Timecheck was 9.35pm and it has past the last order timing. |But their staff, Ariq help to check with the kitchen if they could take our order for takeaway. He came back to us with good news... So we ordered, Ariq also recommended us with few favourites too..|Ariq, who is an intern, is very knowledgeable, polite and cheerful. He is also very attentive to our needs. If i am the owner of the business, he is a keeper .|In fact, many of this resort's staff are very friendly, polite and courteous |I'll definitely will come back again.

Service was good from start till the end. Despite not arranging transport from the ferry terminal to the resort, we were greeted by the resort staff and were able to hop on to the chartered bus to the resort. Booking of recreational activities was flexible. It rained all 3 days when we visited but we could still squeeze in some time for watersports when the rain settled. The room was extremely spacious and scenery was 10/10 from the room - even from the toilet. There was a good variety of food options and was value for its serving size. Thank you montigo resorts for the amazing experience! Will definitely visit again especially when the beach club has been renovated!
