This place is a historical attraction. It used to be a colonial-era estate, probably related to sugar production or governance during that time.
Nowadays, the area has been renovated and transformed. There’s a swimming pool, a luxury resort, tennis courts, and a spacious parking lot. So now, it’s both a heritage site and a high-end hotel. You can also dine here — overall, it offers an upscale experience.
But if you’re just a tourist wanting to visit the historical site, that’s totally fine too.
During the day, the place looks beautiful with natural scenery, and at night it feels elegant and romantic. Because it’s up in the hills, it’s a bit dim in the evening, but they use warm yellow lighting, which makes the atmosphere cozy, romantic, and refreshingly cool.
