Staff here were so friendly and helpful. They seemed really positive. You could tell they went the extra mile to make the hostel a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A lot of thought went into the breakfast. The location is great, right by the lakeside. And the rooms are modern and clean.

Wonderful place, just two steps from the beautiful lake. An antique building recently tastefully restored. Nice and clean rooms furnished with solid oak wood bunk beds. Decent dinner and a superb breakfast. They allow you to store your luggage (and bikes) after check-out. Only one important thing is missing: a rope to hang up clothes.

Extremely nice hostel. It just got completely renovated two years ago, so everything is new and very clean. The breakfest is very good, as well as the beds. I initially planned on staying two nights, but enjoy Montreux and this hostel so much, I made it three. It is a great location on the lake, and roughly 12 minutes on public transport for the city center.

The best hostel I’ve ever been to. So close to the lake, and the breakfast is amazing. Comfortable enough beds. It is quite quiet now in April, without any rowdy or drunken behaviour that I have seen in other hostels. I really like the place, and would love to return in future. Bring your own towel.

An ideal place to stay in Montreux. Very clean, tidy & great service. Breakfast is tasty. Fantastic location basically right in the water & easy to get around by foot or on public transport. Can’t fault the place! The staff are lovely.

I had made a 2-day reservation for May 29-31, 2025. Since my visa was late, I asked them to change the date or cancel the reservation, they were no help at all. They took the full fee. I had to pay the full fee even though I didn't even stay one night. I do not recommend it at all, definitely do not stay here. A hostel that does not help customers and cares about customer satisfaction.

Good location, very welcoming and helpful staff. The only concern is that the place is under the railway, so there will be the noise of the train every few minutes. The quality of the facility is impressive. Toilets and dining areas are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is descent though without too many options. Overall given the price, the hostel is definitely a great value for the money you spend.

Very welcoming staff, well-maintained room, furniture, and toilets. Location is good, though you can always hear the train passing by. Breakfast is simple but descent. The only complaint I have is the weird smell in the room when the heating is on. I solved the issue by opening the window time to time. Should be fine. Overall it is a great accommodation. I will definitely visit again during next ski weekend.

Again at the Hostel in Montreux. Again clean and friendly place to be. Rooms got an update and now every bed has a light and 230V connector. Breakfast is basic but as always fresh and complete with good coffee.

BED BUGS INFESTED!!!! It's 3:30 AM and I'm on a wooden bench in the lobby. My bed and bedboard were crawling with dozens of huge and small bedbugs! When I turned on the light I was shocked! There were so many, all over me the sheets the walls. Disgusting!
