Beautiful historic power of Patagonia, a must see and visit for photos, but also to orient yourself in the old city. I was lucky enough to be here in December to see it surrounded by the most incredible Christmas decoration .

La Torre del Reloj is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cartagena! The architecture is beautiful and full of history, standing right at the entrance of the old city. It’s the perfect spot to start exploring — surrounded by vibrant streets, local vendors, music, and the warm energy of Cartagena. Whether you visit during the day to admire the details or at night when it’s beautifully lit, we went both time’s and it’s truly a must-see stop that captures the charm of the city.

This felt like main entrance to the old city. We really enjoyed our cruise port day exploring the old city. Negotiating deals with street vendors. Eating bites of food here and there. It was a wonderful day.

I super recommend this place as well as the restaurants and bars around this monument , specially the roof tops. There you can enjoy of some fantastic panoramic views while you enjoy just a drink or a special dinner. Cartagena is a little pricey $$ so always check the prices on your menu before you order and definitely be ready to spend $$.

This a vibrant and revitalized area in Cartagena, possibly the historic center or a popular tourist spot. The efforts to enhance safety and restore the streets have clearly made a positive impact, making it a more welcoming environment for visitors. The local stalls offering trinkets, clothes, and Colombian candies add a charming touch, giving tourists a chance to experience authentic local culture. If you're planning to visit or share this place with others, it seems like it's a great time to explore and enjoy everything it has to offer!

We stayed inside the walled city and passed this square a few times to go to bars and restaurants. It’s a lively area with street vendors and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Pretty to see in the night and in the day.

Central part of Cartagena and the Old City. Lots of vendors and yummy food. Don't pay the asking price and ask before taking any pictures with the Palenqueras (women in colorful skirts and fruit baskets on their heads).
