I was genuinely blown away by the quality of food at Monzen@gardens at Bedok Marketplace. This is a humble establishment that delivers food well beyond expectations. I ordered the pork curry rice and chicken curry rice and was thoroughly impressed by the freshness and execution. The meat was thick, succulent, tender and clearly cooked to order—clean-tasting with no hint of excess oil. The curry was beautifully balanced, sweet and savoury with just the right piquant edge. The set also comes with a small bowl of miso soup, all for under $12, which is exceptional value. Tucked away in the charm of Simpang Bedok, this is truly a hidden gem. Owner Alfred was warm and welcoming, and service was excellent. I will definitely be back to try their daily flown sashimi, donburi, and hot ramen. Highly recommended.

Located among the cluster of makan places at Level 2 of Simpang Marketplace, the food albeit pricier (if you compare mains to mains) as compared to the other choices available at the same floor, its really quite worth every cent. Got their Bara-chirashi Don, and the fish was fresh and generous. A surprise mention to their corn croquette; not usually a big fan of corn but the croquette was creamy and sweet, and even for non-corn lovers like me this is quite a fun snack! Definitely coming to try their ramen again. Yummers!

*** Japanese Cusine *** Monzen@Garden - Simpang Bedok @348 Bedok Rd, #02-22/23 Singapore 469560 ( Previously Seragoon Way) - Food was great , very fresh , nice twist to it . - Tried the Sashimi Platter + added on extra Salmon , it was very fresh and  portions were good. - Kaki fry, crispy on the outside & oysters were fresh and were great , - Shisamo karage were nicely done , soft on the inside cripsy on the outside. - Ebi Age small crispy  sweet prawns . - Chuku Wakame were  great too. - Mentaiko fries were Mentaiko fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside,  They were drizzled w mentaiko sauce, which was torched for a smoky finish with some tobiko and garnished with bonito flakes and spring onions, making them an ideal pairing with a glass of beer or wines, Awesome . - Was back there to have some Awesome Japanese food ( 2nd Nov 2024).. - Thank you Alfred & April ----

Located on the second floor of the Marketplace at Simpang Bedok, this quaint Japanese food place is a gem to be discovered! From delicious tonkotsu Ramen to yummy aburi Don, you will be satisfied with the quality of dishes served up by the eloquent, attentive owners. Icing of the cake is the super affordable prices of the items given the portions of the sashimi given. Try it once and you will come repeatedly, just like me! 😉

This young diligent couple cooks and serves with passion. They really love what they do and it translate into the food. Thick fresh portions of salmon 🍣 for the salmon don I always order. You can ask for less rice too! I wanted to write a good review for them. Their customer service and engagement is amazing

This is a very pretty looking Japanese food outlet that I discovered recently at this market place with an amalgamation of food choices. While the wait was a bit long, the food exceeded my expectation. The couple running the outlet were extremely friendly even amidst the rush of taking orders and preparing the food.

I think it's very decent in portion for the price. Food is good. Will come again. Sashimi is thick cut.

Tastes nice, freshly cooked. Ramen soup is creamy and fragrant. Pork chop freshly fried.
