Moocho Burrito

Great little place downtown with great food. I ordered the trios taco plate but had Maria make it into a bowl so I could cut down on carbs😉. I ordered the chicken and it was delicious, especially with the green sauce. Maria is a doll. Great atmosphere! Great food! Great price! Friendly service!

Maria is the sweetest person! She made my food to order just how I wanted it! The green sauce is amazing! And I absolutely loved the food! Atmosphere is perfect too! Prices are so reasonable! Love this place and will be back soon!

This trip we had huevos ranchero and I had the taco trio. Really good. Only criticism. But too much salt in the pork taco meat. But overall, really good service and food. Felt welcome the moment we walked in!

The best Mexican food in all of East Texas. Born & raised here and NO ONE tops this place. The food is absolutely phenomenal. We work like 100 feet away, so we eat here a few times a week. Literally skip Prime 102, Culture, Rick's, all the "good" places & go straight for Moocho every time!! Their omelets are amazing & there's SO MUCH for being SO affordable. You don't spend $50 on a meal here. The burritos are the best tho!

I found this place online at the corner of Erwin and S College St, just off the downtown Tyler Tx square. When you walk inside, you realize what a cool historic building it is! It is very nice, clean, and well decorated! The owner and his wife are wonderfully kind and helpful, and they take great care when preparing the meals. The owner said they buy their food from local farming sources as often as they can! I ordered the Ranchero Omelette. It had chorizo, peppers, onions, tomatoes and a generous amount of delicious cheese inside that melted perfectly! It was garnished with tomato and avocado slices, and two pieces of whole wheat toast! So good!! Tell your friend and family to visit them soon and support this gem of a business!

Disappointed!! I broke Keto for this meal and it was my first sit-down meal since the virus. First of all, there are no chips and salsa- those are $2.50. The waiter was dry and had no personality. The food was decent I would give it a 6/10. What really irritated me and I as I was trying to support a small local business -the 2 little containers of cheese on the table were a $1 extra which I was not told until I checked out. You can see the cheese on top of the beans might as well not have been there. I won't return, left very dissatisfied.

It was a delicious meal. I came right before close and got the Moms Torta with pork. I had it with rice and beans, and the rice was really flavorful and the torta itself had an amazing taste. I don't usually like tortas but I'd come again to eat this. All in all it ran me 16 dollars. The environment was cool, reminded me of a Starbucks. You could come in here and eat while you work. There's even a conference room.

Traditional Mexican cuisine at its most excellent quality accompanied by exceptionally cordial service. There is no other place like this is Downtown Tyler. If you are hungry for breakfast or lunch, go to Moocho Burrito and you won’t be dissatisfied. Pancakes are the bomb!
