Mook Lanta Eco Resort

Nice clean rooms, great breakfast, nice family owned place. Walkable to the beach, a few restaurants around, but you will need to take a taxi to get to old town or to klong klong beach

Overall, the stay was okay. Loved the vibe the cabin gave and its ambiance. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good (for western standards) and the pool very chill (even though it is located next to the road so comes with a lot of traffic noise). We stayed in the cabins with the fan, and even though we knew there was no airco, the cabins were incredibally hot. So hot we could not catch much sleep. The marrasses were extremely hard and very oncomfortable. The temperature in the cabin itself raise so high, that during daytime you could not stay there. So, overall, nice stay, just know what you can expect.

I’ve never stayed in a place that was operated so fairly, earnestly, open/transparent, and generously. The staff and service is unparalleled (naming the owner/operator Oscar as the kindest, gentlest and unbelievably honest). A wonderful stay where the staff ensure you have every possible thing you might ever need. Thank you for a wonderful stay and setting an example for the pinnacle of hospitality.

Initially booked the standard room with fan,which was a sweat box with very little light, I've been here for over a month, so basic is normally fine,had to up grade,completely different world. The ethos of the site is fantastic with the reuse and recycle, which isn't rocket science. Hopefully, the rest of the island will adopt. Will I come back to Lanta? Probably not. Too many people, and if you know and like Benidorm, Lanta is for you.

A very nice place! comfy, nice staff, good amenities, has parking lot, good restaurant by the cool pool, and fun night activities. The shower is very spacious and the rooms are nice and cozy! the only minor downside is that the bungalows are quite darkish and when it’s hot outside they draw a lot of heat and the aircon barely manages it, but once those 2-3 hrs go by (especially if you’re at the beach or elsewhere) it’s perfect! Would recommend the plane and would return!

Lovely place, clean rooms and super helpful owners. Oscar helped us with tips for our scooter daytrip, which turned our to be one of our best days on Koh Lanta. Thank you! My only advice for those who like to sleep long is to ask for a room away from the roosters. Ours was S6 bungallow, which seemed to be right next to the neighbour's chicken coop, not ideal for a long sleep.

We were here for only two days because we were planning on moving on quickly to the next island. But the minute we stepped foot on this resort we regretted the decision to not stay much longer. The holiday vibe that you’re looking for in Thailand? This is where you’re going to find it. The owners have a lot of respect for local wildlife and traditions and you see it everywhere. The local recommendations are honest so you know where to go and what to expect and my goodness, the home made bread for breakfast is divine. We were there high high season and got all the attention we needed. I was really late with planning a diving trip, but the owner called almost every diving school on the island so I could still make the trip and it was AMAZING. The rooms were nice and clean with working airconditioning and were in the sweet spot between Thai coziness and western comfort. We actually plan on going back there later this vacation. And did I mention there were some lovely animals, like Daisy, the three legged Jack Russel?

Absolutely gutted to be leaving this place. We have been sooooo chilled here. The laid back life is easy here. Oscar and Kritin have been there for us like parents would. So kind. So helpful, and full of advice. Their ‘do this’ and ‘dont do that’ were perfect. Lovely breakfast and tea and coffee always available. Staff all lovely. We will deffo be back here again. Oscar organised a vespa type bike for us. Worked perfectly and was great fun. Thankyou Mooklanta Resort for a great time.
