We found the hostel to be excellent value for money. We stayed (as a group of 6) in a room for 6 with en suite. There was enough space for us all. The hostel itself was relatively quiet. The room and facilities were very basic, and could do with updating, but you can't really complain for the price. The staff seemed nice when around, but saw them very infrequently. The hostel is about a 10 min walk to the old town, it has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bakeries, and a pharmacy in walking distance. Overall, I would recommend staying here based on our experience

Stayed with my daughter at the hostel for 2 nights, we got a big room for ourselves. Great location. Would totally recommend.

The location is perfect, the place was comfortable and clean. The price is really good for what we got. You can cook there and spent time using the table games on living room.

Plus points:|* Close to granary island and the city centre |* Plenty of plug sockets in single room - 14 sockets to be exact! (room 26)|* Several bathrooms, never had to queue|* Can help yourself to towels from reception, even whdn it's unstaffed|* Clean bedroom and bathrooms, Cleaning staff attentive to their job||Minus points:|* Entrance not obvious on arrival - go through the gate to the left of the building (unlocked) and around the back |* Questionable security of the building - both the access gate and the main reception door are unlocked all the time |* Paper thin walls - can hear everything said in the corridor|* My bed squeaked every time I moved, and wasn't comfortable to sleep on|* During my stay, the other guests (mostly teenagers) were very noisy, didn't respect the 'silent hours' 10pm to 7am at all, continuously and repeatedly slammed doors through the night (one person had a habit of slamming the door three times each time they went in/out) and due to the thin walls, all the other walls shake every time. There are no repurcussions for this behaviour as no staff on site at night||I appreciate the guests are to blame for the final point, but thought it was worth mentioning, in case this is normal for this hostel (as it's not my experience in the other European hostels I've stayed in)

This hostel is in an amazing location on the edge of the old town. Room was perfect for two of us, shared shower rooms but plenty of them so never had any wait. One or two of the showers could do with a bit of maintenance but worked fine. Rooms were clean and secure, your key locks your door so no risk of anyone else entering. Staff at reception very good, there is luggage storage in a room that is secured, and a shared kitchen although we didn't use this. Would absolutely recommend this place if you are spending a couple of days in Gdańsk which is all you need really.

The hostel do not have the basic ammenities, such as shampoo, lift and air conditiningThe hotel is near to the old town, but far from the main station. The hostel is opposite to the pub, which will be noisy during night time. The toilet is dirty, the kitchen is very dark or gloomy.Value for money, but no the best choice.

Cheap and cheerful. The only downside was how loud it was and the fact that the shower had a massive drip that I could hear all the time. I stayed for 2 nights.

The innkeeper retains security at the hostel through the night and morning. It really feels safe to know someone is at the compound door. They gave me top floor room which has a great view of old town square and the bridge across the water. The highlight of this property really is being a stone’s throw from Gdansk’s nightlife district. You don’t need to worry about catching the bus.
