location was good - central and easily accessible service also good - warm welcome by the reception staff the staircase up to the rooms is poorly lit at night which can be dangerous as it’s quite steep with low ceilings 1 bedroom room was clean, bed was comfortable. however - the bathroom smelt a bit funny (?not sure if it was the drain) - very tiny bathroom as well - the curtains didn’t cover the windows adequately enough to stop people looking into your room from the shared balcony, which is especially uncomfortable since the bathroom door is a glass door that faces the balcony overall reasonable stay for the price but there is room for improvement

The honest truth is, this hotel is old. Really old. Its far from the western amenities I'm used to. But there is a toilet, a hot shower, and an AC. If you're stopping in Vientiane on a budget, this place will give you the best home base to explore the city from. What's more is that the service staff are nice. I mean really nice. I couldn't download the local rideshare app because my cell service didn't work and he made an account with the hotel phone number so I could get around. Every morning there's some eggs and toast ready to start my day, and the rooms are always cleaned. It's not the best accomodation in the city, but these folks will give you good recommendations and go the extra mile for you. Best bang for your buck you'll find in this city.

We visited this hotel back in October but I wanted to leave a review to say that the hotel was great value and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful (helped with taxi early morning and recommendations for city) - thank you! :)

Spent 2 nights in December 2024. It was alright. Very small room, and looked quite used. November 2024: I saw it's closed down. It doesn't look there is any plan to reopen it.

upon our arrival, the hotel made a stellar first impression, with a personalized sign and a friendly staff member providing a warm welcome. the central location in vientiane added to its appeal, making it convenient for exploring the area. regrettably, our positive expectations dwindled upon entering the room. despite being aware of its compact size, the lack of sufficient storage options was noticeable. the real issue arose in the bathroom, where an unpleasant smell emanated from the drain, making it nearly unbearable. we resorted to placing items on top of the drain to contain the odor, exacerbated by the fact that the bathroom door couldn't close properly. moreover, the water pressure in the shower proved to be highly insufficient, adding to the list of disappointments. our room on the third floor presented another challenge – a steep, narrow staircase with inadequate lighting. this not only posed safety risks, especially at night, but also made it challenging for individuals with heavy luggage or those who are tall or elderly. in light of these issues, what started as a promising stay turned into an experience we, unfortunately, cannot recommend to others.

I don't write that many reviews of my stays but this was honestly the best place I stayed at during my SEA travels. Location is good, beds are very comfortable and shower has nice water pressure and turns immediately hot (and by hot I mean properly hot - not lukewarm like in some other places). Best thing about this place is the staff. They are super helpful, friendly, fluent in English and welcoming and will answer all your questions. There also is a laundry place next door with a very friendly old Lao lady so please go on and support her laundry business as well - you might be lucky and she will share some of her delicious breakfast with you :) Oh and free bicycles!!
