Moonmilk is my go to for amazing housemade ice cream and cakes. It's a great option in the West End for a quick treat and, you can tell, it's very high quality. Food I'm a huge fan of their ice-cream flavours, they change them up all the time. Anything from banana cream, to fudge or cheesecake flavours, is super delicious. They have sorbets too, which are great. I'm just a big ice cream fan. Their cakes, though — wow, I love them. You can tell, they're very high quality. Always moist, the creams light, again, not overly sweet, but rich, just a perfect balance. They are $7 to $7.50 a slice. I just had their carrot cake recently, so decadent. I've attached a photo for reference. 5/5 for their cakes and ice cream. Service Love them in the community. They're always warm, inviting, and put so much heart into their treats. 5/5 Atmosphere It's warm. When there was a change in season, they held a little karaoke community night, sing a song, get a scoop of ice cream. They care a lot about the people in our community, and you tell Moonmilk not only puts the details in their desserts to make you smile, but also directly with their actions firsthand with the community. 5/5 because every time I come by, the walls, the people and desserts make me smile. Thank you for being a part of our community.

Absolutely incredible ice cream cake. Fresh, delicious, and very fast. The team at MM turned this around in 2 days. Thank you so much for making my partner’s birthday that much more special. Can’t wait for mine in may.

Today, I tried the banana pudding ice cream. I meant to just sample it, but I couldn’t resist! One of the best parts is that the flavors rotate, so there’s always something new to try. Plus, the service is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes each visit even sweeter.

Me and my husband recently visited this bakery. Tried variety of icecream as they do samples all of their flavors were great. We got their brown butter caramel. Loved their chocolate cheesecake as well. The baker bavi over there was very sweet and answered all our curious questions patiently. Very welcoming atmosphere. Will visit there again and tell our friends as well

Moonmilk Ice Cream and Cake Club is fantastic. The ice cream is rich, unique, and clearly made with care, and the desserts look just as good as they taste. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you want something a little different from the usual ice cream shop.

The quality of the ice cream was great. The service was quick and friendly and they let me try a few samples before making my decision. The ambiance of the shop is light and fun with bright colours. It’s not big but it’s the right amount of space. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Lots of Asian influenced icecreams and some desserts. The coffee and milk tea icecream flavour was so good. The icecream itself is so creamy. Would love to try the moon buns next time which are these Japanese light bread with fillings and toppings

The cheesecake was perfectly creamy, and the blueberry crumble had the ideal balance of sweet and tart. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it even better. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Wow, we ended up getting a few of their cookies and honestly they're all really good! The service was quick and easy as well. Only downside was that it was boiling inside. We had to eat the cookies outside because it was way too hot warm for us inside.

A couple of my friends raved about the moon milk cookies and so I had to try them out being a little bit of a cookie connoisseur myself. The shop is pretty sparse and is known mainly for their ice cream. I went on a pretty warm summer's day and remember we're cooling that the inside of the shop was actually hotter than the outside which was super surprising for an ice cream place. They had the standard flavors of cookies however the one that surprised me the most and was the most intriguing was their charcoal chocolate chip and so I went for that. It was actually very good had a really slight burnt taste but not in a bad way in a very very nice way and it really complemented chocolate. I just wish the cookie was a little bit more thicker I felt like it would have been nicer.

I have been following Moonmilk on Instagram for a year now and found a opportunity to visit recently. I got the peanut and taro jasmine icecream. I loved the peanut flavour and didn't really get much from the taro jasmine. I'd come back to they the baked goods next time.

Cute spot on Dundas St W. they have a lot of ice cream which is popular in the summer, but I stopped in for some cookies one evening. Good flavours & nice and soft cookies.

I don't live in Roncy, I drove by to see a friend and wanted to try something new. I've driven by this place several times and thought I'd pop in. Friendly staff - not a lot of cake choices at noon for mid week. I chose this Pandan coconut rectangular slice of cake. With a lot of cream on top. I grew up in Toronto and when I go back home to Hong Kong, my sister bakes Pandan chiffon cake. What I bought is not chiffon cake of course but nothing was working for me except the familiar Pandan taste with coconut flavour and sugar. I I'm Hong Kong born, but grew up in Toronto since I was 5. This tasted like an supermarket piece of cake with a lot of cream that's pandan flavour. Wouldn't be for my Asian palette but I can see there might be others who like it. I'm hoping the rest of your product line is amazing. I'm always rooting for local businesses.

Moonmilk is Dundas West's newest spot for ice cream! Started in June 2022, the co-owners ran their operations in a secret location in Parkdale. I did read that they would turn on a moon lamp every night from 6pm onwards if they had pints available. They recently opened their brick and mortar shop where the grand opening is slated for May 19th. For their hours, they are closed on Mon and Tues where they open at noon the rest of the days. I recently came across Moonmilk's Instagram account as I was curious about their unique flavours. I did stop by their shop recently during their soft opening to try some ice cream in the afternoon. They are located on Dundas West near Lansdowne. The shop is primarily take out only where there is not much seating inside (there is a small raised area of the floor near the windows you could sit on). They have some benches outside as well to enjoy your ice cream. Upon entering, I was met with a display filled with ice cream flavours as well as a glass case full of baked goods. They had unique flavours like coffee + donuts, PG crackers, pistachio dream (cream cheese swirl), as well as the kaya jam + toast. Staff did mention that if I wanted to sample any flavours I could. I already knew my heart was set on the Kaya Jam + Toast but had a sample of the Coffee + Donuts flavor which was quite good as well. In terms of sizes they have a snack size, single, or double scoop where I opted for a snack size portion (was still a big portion!). In regards to their baked goods they had things like coffee crisps, vegan chocolate chip cookies, strawberry rhubarb puffs or donuts, etc. that all looked delicious! After purchasing my ice cream and taking some photos I opted to sit outside on the bench to enjoy my ice cream. The coconut, pandan, custard, and buttered toast flavours of the ice cream worked well together. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Definitely will return to try other ice cream flavours if I'm around the area!

Didn't slap for me. I tried the strawberry buttermilk flavour, and my bf had the chocolate. On first taste, I definitely enjoyed the flavour but the texture wasn't creamy enough for me. The texture, to me, is similar to grocery store ice cream, so the value proposition wasn't there. I also got sick of the flavour nearing the end, disposing of the last couple of bites. Notable: the "snack" size ice cream is more like a single in other stores- so that's a redeeming quality.

Anything with Mango is my all time favourite but I tried to be adventurous and try their Jasmine Taro. We also got Strawberry sorbet and vegan coconut taro cookie. All were delicious. Service was good. I wasn't sure which one to pick and I was given recommendations through which I ended up selecting Jasmin Taro and was delighted. There are couple of benches to sit outside which is great on a warm summer day.

I am obsessed with both jasmine and taro, so naturally I needed to try this when I came across Moonmilk during the Dundas West fest. The flavour did not disappoint and I've since come back for another scoop of this delicious combination. I also tried their taro rice krispie which was good as well but could use a tad more taro flavour. Ill definitely be stopping by more often to try their other flavours!

What an absolutely lovely gem of an ice cream shop. The staff was kind and answered all our questions, and the store itself has this really fun vibe - with cool art on the walls. I had the banana sponge cake ice cream sandwich - which was LOVELY. This is probably my favorite treat place in Toronto, highly recommended.

We have been fans of the shop since it opened and often swing by for ice cream with the family. Tonight, we ordered 3 single scoops and the owner's husband (who was otherwise friendly) charged us and added a 20% tip to our total without mentioning it/asking us. He just handed us the machine with the total. When my spouse asked for the receipt (because he was confused by the total), the owner was apologetic but said he couldn't provide one. It was a disappointing experience; not that we wouldn't have tipped, but the decision was made for us!

Moonmilk founders have taken on a very intelligent way of dessert creation by using the purest source for the flavours they seek. From fresh mint leaves to actual donuts, it's evident a lot intentionality and heart has gone into all of their menu items. Much respect and praise for opening at a time when the world was trying to figure out a new way of living, and thank you for bringing back the basics to building in-person community and conversation.

Love everything they sell, especially their cakes and moon buns. I also love their jasmine taro ice cream! Staff are all so friendly and helpful. The place is so clean and spacious. My new go to bakery!
