Never knew so many flavors of moon pies existed. They also had free samples to see which you like and you can mix and match flavors for 6 or 12 packs. Very good, also RC cola in the glass bottles are $1.99.

EVERYTHING you were looking for, and even some things you weren't. :) A different store had disappointed me by not having many puzzles for sale, and THIS store more than made up for it! I spent more than I would have thought, but I don't even mind. I also purchased some super-cozy Sasquatch pajama pants, and more than a few Christmas presents because there were so many items that make perfect gifts. Added in some vintage candy, and our visit was awesome!

The Dolly Parton collection was impressive, with so many fun and unique items that make perfect souvenirs or gifts for fans. And the MoonPie selection? Unreal! From minis to regular to double-deckers, in every flavor you could imagine—it’s a MoonPie lover’s dream. Plus, they offer free samples, which is such a generous touch. The store is super clean and well-organized. While the outside might not catch your eye right away, don’t let that fool you—inside, it’s a gem. Definitely worth the stop whether you're shopping, browsing, or just craving a MoonPie!

The name is a little confusing. Sure they offer several different flavors of moon pies and memorabilia, but it doesn't stop there. This is a really nice book store and old fashioned gift shop. Lots of candy and toys from past generations.

I love this place! They have all types of novelty items like Cracker Barrel but different. I found a Ranch Dressing soda there 😆. They have a little of something for everyone and a nice education book selection. Teachers and Pastors get a discount!

Always looking for a new bookstore when visiting a new city. Excited to stop in and look around. This is a HUGE store with both an upstairs and downstairs. There are books for all ages from newborn to seniors. There are more than books here! We enjoyed taking our time and looking at as much as we could in the hour we had available on this day. I love looking at cookbooks and there is an excellent variety to choose from. Books from local authors and books related to Tennessee and its history are displayed nicely. I knew I wasn't leaving without at least one book and I found two paperbacks for $5.99 each. Both books from best selling authors that I am excited to read. I highly recommend stopping in to pick out a book! Note: not a moon pie fan so I can't comment on that part of the store.

Moon Pie General Store & Original Book Warehouse- A Nostalgic Gem! Stopped by while visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised by how much this place offers. The Moon Pie section is massive--every flavor imaginable--and they even give out free samples of the smaller ones, which is a sweet touch! The store is a throwback paradise, with a huge selection of vintage sodas that'll take you right back to childhood. The adjoining bookstore is spacious and well-stocked with a wide range of subjects. Whether you're into fiction, history, or quirky finds, there's something for everyone. What really stood out were the nostalgic goodies--classic toys, retro candies like Big League Chew, and a fun mix of gifts and collectibles. It's the kind of place where you'll find things you haven't seen in years. Definitely worth a stop to browse, reminisce, and of course, grab a few Moon Pies for the road!

Micheal was so amazing at helping me out here. I was running late to catch my flight in Knoxville and but needed to pick up a couple books I could only find in Pigeon Forge. Michael knew exactly where the book was and made terrific suggestions on other books .

Moon Pie General Store We are of the generation of Moon Pies; best selection of Moon Pies, and a very clever store. Yes, RC Cola is available. Fairly large display area with interesting merchandise. Now we have Moon Pies near Dayton.

So much fun!!! Great collection of books. Enjoyed my free sample. I loved perusing the old candy choices and Knick knacks.

Wow to think they actually had a store front! Honestly it's definitely how I picketed it but with lots of extra stuff lol The moon pies here have more flavors than the stores themselves so if your really into these it's a good place to stop at and stock up with different flavors. My favorite was the mint chocolate

Well organized and massive story. Very clean with a diverse selection of goods. many kinds of Moon Pies that are locally made - you get a free one with your visit too while walking around. A 6-pack of assorted moon pies were only a little over $3. I loved their massive selection of puzzles and books. Great spot to find gifts for everyone and unique items. My only complaint is how expensive everything except the moon pies were - $20 for a puzzle, $35-40 for a shirt, $20 for a book etc.

There was so much in this store. We could've spent all day here looking at stuff. Reasonably priced. Large selection of moon pies. Books upstairs and downstairs. Store was clean. Staff was nice. Would definitely come back.

Very cool and unique stop in Pigeon Forge. We only had a day in town but this place called out to me from the map I found of the area! Not only is it a full-sized bookstore (with an entire large basement of bargains to explore), but it also features more Moon Pie merchandise than you can shake a glass bottle of cola at (they have lots of those too)! There are other classic general store items here (retro toys like Lincoln logs, retro candies, regional sodas, clothing, signage, etc.) but it's the nods to Moon Pies, Dolly Parton, country mountain life, and other cultural icons that give this place a wholly distinctive charm unique to the area you'll find this store located in. Naturally, the actual Moon Pie is well represented here - pretty much every flavor I knew about and flavors I didn't know about are here in mini, classic and double decker sizes. You can save by filling a box with whatever flavors you want and save by buying in bulk. The Moon Pie/RC glass bottle combo pack is a nice touch. :-) Even if you aren't interested in buying moon pies, every customer we stood in line with got to choose a free one on the way out with their other finds :-)

I absolutely love this little store! I have been twice now and make it a regular stop when we go to Pigeon Forge. I also love that half of this store is also a bookstore. The people working there are also real friendly. It may be in an older building but it is definitely kept clean and tidy!

Easy to miss when driving down the parkway because it's kind of tucked in to an older strip mall type building but don't let the facade fool you, there are treasures inside to be found! Take a step back in time and get ready for some real treats! It's not just for Moon Pies!

Great place to buy souvenirs. Lots of retro candy and signs. I didn't feel like it was a touristy place. I loved buying the mini moon pie assortments. I didn't even know about the salted caramel flavor. Here we were able to buy it. I bought a cool sign that I have hanging in my kitchen.

Don't miss this stop! The store felt like a time capsule of this old guy's life and I could have spent hours looking at every shelf. If you love Moon Pies, a crazy selection of soft drinks, novelty items and souvenirs (I came home with my very own screaming goat), and the most personable employees anywhere in Pigeon Forge, make a beeline for the Moon Pie General Store. Half of the store in a book warehouse, which is a major bonus to me. I'll bring more money on my next trip to PF.

Great place with all sorts of stuff. The double decker moon pies were only 99 cents. He saw the following flavors; vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, pumpkin spice, and banana. There were novelty and collectible's along with bins and other whatnots. I'll definitely be returning.

A delightful little stop, even if you aren't interested in Moonpies. This place was surprisingly a geek/pop culture paradise. They had everything from Friends to Andy Warhol. I settled for a $4 Star Trek journal, coffee cup, and a box of Moonpies. Bookstore part wasn't all that. The prices were pretty much the same as most retailers and the selection wasn't that big if you weren't looking for children's books.

Great store to hit when you want something different. Lots of moon pie items and then various toys, candies, puzzles, etc. other side of the store is various books, bibles and Christian store like items.

Such a great experience stopping at the store. My favorite part is you can make your own box of moon pies.. so if you have people with different tastes you can accommodate that. The manager at the store was awesome and kind. The product is so fresh and delicious. Better than the ones we get at home

Who doesn't love a moon pie?! Banana is my favorite. I love them warm in a microwave..they have all the flavors here. Such a cute little shop with all kinds of gifts. Moonpie apparel etc..

Loved this little stop! Great book and for great prices! It was a nice stop when everything else in the area is packed! The store is huge and great for letting our 14 month old walk around. Really friendly staff and cute stuff too!

I discovered this place via Google search because the store I wanted to go to was closed, but I wasn't ready to call it a night. It was such a cool place! It has a ton of books (mostly Christian and local topics) and lots of cool gifts. I ended up getting a good bit of Christmas presents for my family here. It is apparently pet friendly, too. I wish I had known that earlier since we left our dog at the cabin. But, I'm definitely glad we went here!

Cool place for those who have never even seen a MoonPie, which was me. Lots of stuff, some crap and some unique finds. I'd recommend it for tourists not from the south, as I believe there are MoonPies all throughout the south and it would not really be anything new, or for people who just love the desert. Good T-shirt selection, and cool video loop of celebrities taking about MoonPies I thought was funny.

I was on a mission to find a store that sold RC Cola in a glass bottle. Well, my google search sent me to this store. I was pleasantly surprised it was sold by the case. I mean who doesn't like an ice cold RC Cola (in the bottle) on a hot summer day? They have a huge variety of Moon Pies & apparel, old time candy, bottled drinks (RC, Country Time Lemonade, Cheerwine, etc), quilts, t-shirts, and a nice book selection. The owner, Michael, introduced himself and thanked me for visiting. This is one of the nicest general stores I have visited. I will definitely be back soon for more RC Cola.

Fantastic store! We got there before they opened in hopes to visit before it got crowded due to the Pandemic. The door was actually unlocked 15 min early: huge plus! Very friendly staff, who were wearing masks. Huge selection of moon pies and related paraphernalia but also tons of other items as well. Puzzles, enormous selection of books are laid out well, retro toy selection was great! Household items and gifts. Good selection of Christian books and gifts. Moon pie prices very reasonable. Large selection of old fashioned bottled beverages. Highly recommended!

A favorite store we stop at anytime we are in the Smokies. Hugh basement of books, new books upstairs and all sorts of fun stuff. Moonpie merchandise and fun stuff from the area. The staff is wonderful.

Chattanooga MoonPies! If you like them, you'll be in MoonPie heaven here. This store also adjoins a bookstore.

This place is amazing, a little bit I'm assuming from the outside but you absolutely must go in! It's more than just largest selection of the Melissa and Doug children's toys I've seen anywhere and at great prices.Plus you get a free mini moon pie with every purchase! The lady behind the counter was also super super sweet always a bonus.

My wife is a fan of MoonPies so we had to stop and check this place out. They do have a section of the store dedicated to moon pies and MoonPie novelty items. They also have a huge selection of books. Don't forget to check out the basement this section of the store has all their books and novelty items discounted. I also came across bacon and maple syrup flavored soda, you can really taste the maple syrup flavor and some smokey flavor representing the bacon. Overall not bad

Very nice and welcoming store! I found just what I was looking for! They had plenty of MoonPies along with MoonPie themed gifts and knickknacks. Also plenty of sodas (in the glass bottles). Kids will like it too, plenty of toys and puzzles. I will definitely stop in again on our next trip.

Neat walking in and seeing the different types of merchandise. They have a little bit of everything. The basement is full of books for all of your bookworms.

This MoonPie general store is the bees knees. I love this place, it's a one stop shop for all your MoonPie and RC cola needs. If that's not enough to get you through the doors they also have a very good selection of Christian items. The employees take pride in knowing they are making the world a better place one MoonPie at a time. If your are in the area you should definitely make the trip. I would give it more than 5 stars if that was allowed. MoonPie general store you have a fan for life.

I'm so glad we stopped by during our great smoky excursion. The staff are super friendly and nice. They carry lot of interesting stuff for all ages. It was a really fun and special place. Don't miss it!

An odd combination of a off-price bookstore and a touristy "miscellaneous stuff" store that is unique in that it has the greatest selection of all types of Moon Pies - the southern frosted cookie-with-filling confection that is hard to find up North, Only on person was running it at 9 pm on a weekday, so ring the bell. Nice Guy. Basic standard Moon Pies $6 a dozen.

One of my favorite little shops in the area. Some very unique and different items that can only be found there. A great place to find special little gifts.

This place is cool it's a store with not a lot of merchandise. So it looks sparse in here but I didn't know moon pies were made here. We bought stuff of course. I love the redneck six pack.
