Best example for something won't change, after so 9 years I visited this restaurant & the quality & taste has not changed a bit. Still aunthentic!. Need improvements in the atmosphere since it looks very old & dull. Best place for a friend's joint / reunion.

We had a great lunch here
We tried their Tawa Lobster ,mixed fried rice, Calamari masala. All seafood were really fresh n great in flavour.Portion size was also good.
Atmosphere was just okay, we accomodated in their ac hall so it was fine.
We have the option to select our seafood here.
My suggestion is they can improve their cutlery
Some food items were served on steel plates, which is not very common

Visited this legendary seafood restaurant in Mahabalipuram.
I must say its seafood heaven. Absolutely fresh catch with authentic Chetinad preparation.
Tried their red snapper tawa fry, crab pepper fry, egg chili, mutton chukka, malabar parota, omlet. Everything was of great taste.
It’s a must visit when you are in Mahabalipuram. The main beach is just 1 min walk away.

Pretty old restaurant. The food is good. But comparable to a street food type not a restaurant equivalent.
They have board kept saying no alcohol, but if you can talk to the staff , they will bring outside liquor and seve in big Lassi glasses.but generally a reasonable and good place.

The restaurant is over hyped. As you enter through the gate, you get a strong smell of variety of seafood. Ground floor was clumsy and the seating arrangement was not cleaned properly.
We ordered Crab tawa fry, beef curry with rice and chicken fried rice. Crab dish was tasty. Beef curry was okayish. But chicken fried rice was disappointing.
Although they portrayed a board 'Alcohol not allowed', you can get a bottle of beer if you ask the waiter. Options are limited.
Try to grab a outside table, you won't get the strong fishy smell
They even charge for the mouth freshener

The tawa fry prawn recipe is the most favourite dish of Moon raker.
You can try red snapper fry and crab masala though it's expensive but you can try once.
Could've been cleanliness and hygiene little more.
Tastes are not the same when I experienced decades ago, and to be upgraded aa many same kind of restaurants flooded on the street.
Please keep a beeda shop nearby aa many people were searching for it.
