Moorea Maitai

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant. They are located at the end of the manava beach resort driveway. They have some of the best fish and chips and great prices. Their service is great and the drinks are cold. They are directly on the lagoon, and there's always awesome music creating a fun atmosphere. Don't miss this place if you're on the island.

Great food. Big portions. Our tuna was very fresh. View is amazing especially during sunset. We came back to this restaurant as we were very satusfied with quality and atmosphere

Absolutely recommend. Was given this recommendation by our water tour and it didn’t disappoint. The shrimp curry and rice was out of this world. Not to mention they were so friendly for visitors and the music was just jamming. 10/10 recommend this place.

Three things: 1) the best sunset near downtown Moorea 2) reasonably priced beer (the local Hinano was our favorite) 3) big servings of fish (daily catch and sashimi) Did we have more gourmet meals at Rudis down the street? Yes, but we came back because the sunset was so good plus friendly staff.

Great location for dinner and sunset. Cute very casual restaurant where locals go. Open on Sundays too! Fits was great and in mass quantities. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi and chips! Sooooo good! My hubby had a tuna burger,

Yummy! Right on the water. Tuna carpaccio was so good and a big portion. Drinks were strong and cold! Takes a little while but worth the wait!

This place was recommended by a local resident. We enjoyed the outdoor covered dining area overlooking the ocean. I recommend the fried fish and chips. The fish and chips portion was enough for both of us. We visited a second time and both ordered grilled steak with fries. The steak portion was large and must be eaten right away. As the steak cooled down it became harder to chew. The menu is extensive and the food is served fresh.

Great food and location. I had the coconut-curry shrimp and my wife had the local lagoon fish and chips. Both were outstanding and went well with the local beer. Staff was great and served us with a smile.
