We did not know what to expect, but, this was worth the drive from Cannes. We enjoyed the day at the beach in their beach chairs with parasols. Service was awesome, never a moment without them checking on us. There's a restaurant part, a beach part, a bar, and shops. Such a cool place, my wife and I and daughters all want to go back. The beach was gentle and had a shallow pitch to easily walk out and enjoy the water. This was possibly the highlight of an almost 3 week trip. Not a huge beach menu but a great varaiety. So cool!

We had a great experience at Moorea! The food was very delicious. Inside wasn’t hot at all, when we stepped out we where surprised how hot it was.

Such a great experience! We enjoyed the chill vibe - with a touch of luxury - of this beach club. Service was excellent and the beach and facilities were pristine

Overall satisfactory experience. To start, the atmosphere was superb, enjoying the French Riviera sea view with your feet on the sand was super pleasant. On the other side, the service was not on the same level. Nothing was out of the ordinary and the staff was not disrespectful, but there was a clear favoritism towards some guest over others; I was in the latter group. Besides that, I was redirected 3 times before reaching the person who seated us. The food was well made, although nothing special and the portions were well sized. In the end, yes, I would come back, but think the staff could use a little more training.

Google
Moorea Plage de Pampelonne offers a mixed experience. The beach club has impressive infrastructure—comfortable loungers, well-maintained facilities, and a prime spot on the beautiful Pampelonne Beach. However, the overall experience falls short in other areas. The food is just average, nothing special considering the high prices. What really stood out was the service, and not in a good way. The servers were neither polite nor helpful, which put a damper on the visit. If you're looking for a place with good amenities and don't mind spending extra, Moorea Plage might work for you. But if you’re after great food and friendly service, you might want to consider other options on the beach.

The service was so bad rudest waiters and the person that is handling the reservations is the rudest person ever. He was saying bad words and talking in a tone and screaming no one should talk to a guest like that just because we made a reservation for the first time in the restaurant, we wanted a table on the sea view or at least not at the end of the restaurant as the restaurant is pretty empty he told us we are not regulars so we can’t get a nice table.

Nice place, good steak eventhough we ordered the burger, nice lamb chops, but all staff too busy and hurried you even taking orders. For the price they charge, I'd suggest get a few more staff.... Music at the right volume level so you could hear yourself talk unlike some beach clubs....

Yelp
Laidback fun beach club experience. It's right on the beach, the views are great. The drinks are fun, classics with a twist, good selection of wines (even for a beach club), and the drink prices are within what's expected. The vibe is one of my favorites, refreshing and cool, you won't get blasted away by the music but it's not boring. It's not an intimidating environment. I would feel comfortable here on a date, out with family or friends, or even just a solo lunch. During the lunch there was a runway show that provided entertainment but it wasn't in the forefront, a subtle twist like lemon zest in a martini. In short; best location, great ambiance, good food and drinks at expected prices, would come back.

Yelp
Old moorea is gone and welcome to the new set up. Not bad at all. Same clientele and same vibe for now. Team is great and friendly. Price very good. Enjoy the moment and the music !

Yelp
The restaurant was very good, perfect for the day. I had thon rouge with melon jambon to start. Pampelonne beach is clean and sandy and we rented loungers for the day. Loungers were good but not cushioned. Visiting from California it may have been too much to expect clean air but the mattresses in front of us were a smokestack, especially the gentleman with his hour-long cigar. With onshore winds the smoke covered the area. Even though the staff said the smoking was not acceptable as we explained why we were leaving early, they also suggested it was our fault for not asking their clients to stop. My advice to Moorea is to be more proactive. Trust me, it did not just affect us. Even at home in a familiar culture where smoking is less accepted it is not pleasant to ask folks to move their smoking. The staff is plenty proactive on other fronts (moving umbrellas, offering drinks, asking for payment) so this is not much to ask. The staff member who took our payment even noticed the smoke but didn't do anything.

Yelp
On vacation this week we went to a few of the beach bars. This by far was the best to us. It was still slow time of year but the staff is amazing and will work hard for you. Food was great as well. We did find everything in St Tropez to be pricy but at the same time it was great service and food everywhere. I don't know his name but would like to give a big thanks to the main bartender as he went above and beyond. I will be back.

Yelp
Here's the deal. They don't do the Rose de la Moorea anymore (stopped about 10 years ago) which is a shame, as it was an amazing onion dish. But for quality of food, service, location .. albeit at a price ... it's hard to beat. We had the cold artichoke starter, which was amazing with a vinaigrette dip, and the steak tartar was beautifully done. My wife and son had the mixture of seafood, can't recall the name but it's simply a mix of shellfish done in garlic, butter and parsley - huge portion, unlike many French restaurants, so could easily share between two people. And when you finish lunch? Make sure you've booked a lounger and umbrella and claimed it before 1pm, then sit on the beach, cool off in the aquamarine waters, and watch the beautiful people walk by. Heaven.

Yelp
One of the famous Beach-Restaurants at the Pampelonne. It is a nice place to seat and to enjoy a lunch. It is lovely arranged. The food is good - but not the best food you find at the Pampelonne. The artichoke was overcooked, the vinaigrette had to much vinegar. The tartar of salmon and tuna was to spicy and extremely over-flavoured. So you didn't had the taste of the fish. Several dishes like the spring rolls with chicken and the tempura was great. The service brought the wrong sushi dish. After demand, no reaction or sorry - we had to eat what we get. After lunch we asked for the bill. And we were there just for lunch - why we had to pay for sun lounger and parasols was a miracle. We received no sorry- nothing rather we hat the feeling, that we had made the mistake. So nice place, nice view, food was ok - but you find more exiting places at Pampelonne!
