It is in a great location, the customer service was awesome. The food was amazing. The rooms were quite nice but also quite small. I had an issue with my hot water system and the team got straight onto it. The service was amazing and definitely will go back.

The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is fantastic, with stunning waterfront views and easy access to local attractions. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the pool area was a great spot to unwind. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Moorings Hotel to anyone visiting Port Vila. I can’t wait to return!

Great location and pool looking over the harbor. The service was mostly great but slow at the bar due to issues with using the cash register at the bar. The front desk service was amazing - overall good value for the money. There were lots of parties going on around the hotel so it was a bit noisy at times.

Dined here one evening, food average, nice setting. Had issues with someone constantly clearing their nose and spitting on the next premises. Beware 5% charge for using credit cards.

My husband and I were very disappointed we spent a week there! our room had harbour view which was nice! The room was very small with a tiny bathroom, paid about 170.00 Canadian a night. The air con quite working then they finally fixed it, the big glow ball garden light's stay on all night as we had a high A Frame window with no curtain and the lights glowed in are room all night long. We asked numerous time if they would shut them off but would not ..... We put towels over them at night to help, but to no avail we did not sleep well.... The breakfast was average continental breakfast. One morning my husband helped himself to a cup of coffee and the waitress yelled at him to use the other coffee pot for some known reason..... their is know shade at the pool or anywhere else unless you go to the back part of the restaurant or the Bar which we found very dark! we were very unhappy their... and felt it really needed to be maintained more and updated.... the week before we stayed at the Nasama Resort it was a little higher price difference but beautiful, friendly staff, delicious food had a fantastic week at Nasama.

Stayed 3 nights myself alone. I cannot describe enough how much I enjoyed being a guest. It was nice experience with this hotel in Port Vila; beautiful seaview at the beach front, wonderful artistic settings, nice and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Variety of food with ethnic diversity and drinks at reasonable price. Happy hours on Saturday night was unforgettable bonus with BBQ, and geniusly talented entertainer - karaoke lady, singing all sorts of repertoire nonstop for more than 2 hours. As for the location, I love this being a little bit far from the busy center, although a few minutes walking distance; quiet and calm with natural environment. Swimming and kayaking are very handy. Highly recommended to tourists and honeymooners. Will come back with my whole family again.

Great experience for our short stay (family, 2 kids). Staff are lovely and friendly. Pool was clean (we swam there every day). Food off the menu was actually really tasty (sometimes you don't expect much at hotels, but Moorings was actually great). Location is great also - you can easily walk along the sea edge via the ocean path (it's beautiful), or within 5 minutes walk also enter into the town center. Airport is 10 minutes drive away. Top restaurants like Stonegrills also 5 minutes walk away. Room had air-con and ceiling fan (you need it), although was a little old (but was perfectly fine for our family). Great value. Would 100% return again for a longer stay next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the pool and view of the bay is great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was okay, bread fruit and cereal was provided but anything more cost extra. We loved our time here but the only problem we had was the WiFi. The WiFi worked okay during the day and we were able to use it to send messages. However in the evening and night time the WiFi was completely useless. Everytime we tried to use it the WiFi just cut out. The phone signal was okay. We ended up buying a portable WiFi device from vodaphone to do our remote work. This device got signal well at Moorings.
