Dropped in for lunch. Fortunately, it was not too busy at the time and there were tables available though usually you would need a reservation.
Opted for the lunch special which includes 3 tapas and a glass of sangria. This is a good way to sample a variety of the tapas on offer. We ordered the sweet potato & leek dip, zucchini & sour cream dip (both come with pita), truffle mac & cheese, tapenade marinated chicken, roast pork belly and the calamari. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, delicious and the portions are more than sufficient to fill you up. The standout dish was definitely the truffle mac & cheese. It is brought straight from the oven to your table and the truffle aroma hits you immediately. You can taste the truffle and porcini mushrooms and is a delight to savour. A definite must try!
The staff were friendly and the service was great! If you are visiting Darwin, Moorish should be on your list. We live here so will definitely be back soon.
