A well run rest camp. Our defective air conditioning unit was replaced immediately. Our guides on the guided drive were informative, entertaining and friendly. All staff have been very obliging. One has to accept that some facilities are a bit worn and/or rustic. Drives revealed lovely game sightings. All roads in the area of the park are beautifully maintained. Overall a very positive experience.

Amazing accommodation with comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, and great bathrooms, the accommodation came with a braai outside so we cooked some delicious meals on there, the area around the camp, while not having much game around was still stunning in the sunrise and sunsets, there was also a laundromat which came very in handy. Also many cool birds around.

The worst camp of all, and we visited four of them. The bungalows are old and not particularly clean, and the staff is incompetent and unfriendly. First, we were assigned a bungalow that hadn’t been cleaned. No apology from the staff, just another room key! The next bungalow was cleaned, but it was full of cockroaches and even had a mouse living there. We reported this the next day, and the response was: “There are mice and cockroaches everywhere here, there’s nothing we can do!” So we spent another night in this disgusting bungalow. The restaurant doesn’t seem particularly clean either and looks unhygienic. The staff there is also unfriendly. Not a place we can recommend for an overnight stay!

If you are looking for an outdoor experience but still want to be connected Mopani rest camp is for you. The rooms I must say are not 5 star but you will have comfortable sleep. The Game drives in the morning for me was very nice, we got to see many animals.

Wonderful view on the river with buffalos sunset ablutions. 🐃 You can find inside the rest camp a beautiful baobab. 🌳 Beware of badgers at night who love litter. 🦡🗑

Absolutely loved my stay. Nice and clean and great job with the maintenance. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Even enjoying to fill up with fuel. Will come again. Keep up the good work.

Stunning camp, we spent 5 nights here and we loved it! The bungalow was neat and clean, with lots of activity around from squirrels to a large spotted genet, just make sure you keep all your food and drink inside the bungalow as the the baboons and honey badgers raid your kitchen. Thank you Mopani for such a wonderful stay!

We love Mopani Camp. We stay in Bungalows where everything works. The air conditioner is an old noisy model, upgrades are on their way. The shop had everything we needed providing that we went early. I can't remember names. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful despite the last minute check-in. The lady petrol attendant was very helpful cleaning front and back windows and asking if she can adjust the tyre pressure.
