Well, what can we possibly add to these other good reviews!!! My Husband and I have just returned from spending two glorious weeks at Morpheas in Kamares. It was a special holiday for me for a birthday and we could not have chosen a better accomodation. Ideally located, just a few minutes walk into the main drag of Kamares with the tavernas and cafe bars etc and just two minutes walk down the track opposite brings you straight onto the lovely sandy beach. There are sunloungers available all along the beach and they differ in prices so be aware and ask for price first. The beds directly at the end of the track are 15 euros (as of July 2025), walk along to the next set and they are 20. However one place further along was asking 30 euros and that did not make a difference even if you had lunch!!! Our room was brilliant, to be honest I would say up there in the very best we have had in over 40 years travelling around Greece and her Islands, spotlessly clean and kept to a high standard by the lovely cleaning lady 7 days a week...yes....7 days a week. Towels and bedding changed regularly and of good quality, the bed was super comfortable too. Lots of drawer and cupboard/wardrobe space and loads of coathangers (no safe). Now, the shower, well - absolutely fantastic, big rainwater shower head and the pressure was brilliant and never any problem having hot water whether we showered at 6pm or 8pm. Although we were not in the self catering apartment we managed to do breakfast without a problem as there is a good fridge, kettle, mugs, plates and two bowls and some glasses and cutlery so all you need really. (Room 9). A small juliette style balcony in bedroom (window and shutters) and a seperate large balcony with lockable door. Aircon worked really well too. Nothing much else to add really except to say thank you 'efharisto para poli' to Kostas and Maria our lovely hosts and we hope to see you again. Heather & Paul (Pavlos!)

The hotel is lovely and the owners will take care of you! Centrally located in the port of Kamares, with the beach directly across from you. Clean rooms with a mini kitchen, little deck and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Price is right too - very inexpensive for the quality of accommodation. They also left me treats upon arrival and a little ceramic dish as I left. As a solo traveler I felt safe here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Greek experience!

I’ve stayed at this hotel on 3 different trips to Greece. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at multiple times… The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, speak great English. They can accommodate a lot of extra beds (which was great when I came with my family). The hotel is across the street from one of the best beaches in the world in my opinion. It is also just down the street from the ferry port, shops, and several great restaurants. It is also close to the local bus which goes to all the other little towns. The bus schedule was a little more limited in May compared to July.

This is our third trip to Sifnos and our second stay at Morpheus and the only reason we didn’t stay here last time was because it was fully booked!|Our first visit was in 2012 and our last was in 2018 and the changes to Kamares are negligible to our eyes. Still the same lovely port with one street that’s nice and quiet, until the ferry arrives!|Kostas and Maria who run the pension are brilliant hosts with nothing too much trouble. Since our last visit they have done a fabulous job of upgrading all the apartments to a very high level with superb bathrooms and showers.|We were fortunate to be upgraded to room 5 which is an apartment for 5 people with a kitchen and large fridge and lovely garden/ sea view.|There is absolutely nothing negative that I could comment on.|Will have no hesitation in returning, if we can get in.|We tried several restaurants on the port and our favourites were Meropi and O Simos, good authentic Greek food.|Yamas

It was our first time back in 5 years and third time in 8 years...so, yes, we like it very much. With our luggage it is really nice to be picked up at the ferry and dropped off at the bus stop when we transfer on the island. That said, the location is perfect in so many ways with all that you want in Kamares within a pleasant walk. Right across the road, through the tall grasses, you spill onto the centre point of the beach, away from the harbour crowds but easy walking distance to both points of the beach. To your right there is a popular sunset bar at the turn (below the church on the cliff) and turning left you can walk to the church at the end near the harbour mouth for another wonderful sunset view. Returning from there you can descend to a great restaurant outside looking across to the restaurants lining the ferry road. Back to the beach entrance, we got day long chairs with shade for 12 euro for two and it was just a short hop back to the pension to use our own washroom. There are two market stores nearby as you enter the ferry landing road and all you could want for conveniences/shops/books/info etc|along the ferry road where the seaside restaurants let you look straight down to the fishies above the golden sand....(the beach is shallow for a long ways). This was our best stay/room as we had not one but two balconies above the entrance. Great hosts, great place.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at in Greece, In a lovely position just off the beach it is really relaxing and peaceful. Rooms are immaculately clean, We stayed in the one bedroomed apartment which was well equipped and spacious. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for longer than originally intended. The owners are friendly and helpful . They have got the balance exactly right of being around if you need them whilst at the same time being very discreet and leaving you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings in your own time. We would definitely stay here again .

Just wonderful. A three minute stroll through the bamboo and you are on the sandy beach. A few minutes more and you are choosing among the many restaurants that line the road from the ferry. Close to the easy to navigate bus stop, from which you can explore the rest of the island- highly recommended.|Clean, very well kitted out, quiet, with darling porches and really wonderful shutters on the windows (filtered light and breeze plus total privacy). |Maria was the perfect hostess, and very accommodating with on-point recommendations. |Just wonderful.

Great place, clean and fresh. We have slept in 4 different hotels/rooms on our island shopping tour and this one was the best by far. Very friendly hosts.
