Awesome spot to stay! My wife and I recently stayed here visiting from Australia. It’s the perfect location, close to everything you need without it being too busy and touristy! Yet still walking distance to the city centre and everywhere else! We would definitely stay here again, and Kate was so friendly and helpful. Overall terrific experience!

Went there for drinks. Nice ambiance, friendly service and nice variety on the menu. Unfortunately there was a something from the whisk in my matcha but they solved it perfectly. Loved the mandarin soda.

We had a quick breakfast here. Omlette was amazing. They put it on a sourdough bread and spread some labneh with lemon on top. Also zahtar and dill gave it a unique taste. Also tried their scones, it was fresh, warm and super delicious. Prices are affordable as well. Portions are in good size. Everything was chill and nice, good Saturday bfast spot. I will definitely come back more.

We stayed for two nights in December and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience at Morgan & Mees. We were out most of the second day and came back around 6 pm to find that our room hadn’t been serviced at all. When we asked about it at reception, we were spoken to quite rudely and told that we “should have put the sign out” and had now missed the window. This was never mentioned at check-in, and the cleaner had already left, so they said they couldn’t do anything to help.||After pushing a little, they reluctantly agreed to get us clean cups. We went out for dinner and returned to find a very minimal attempt at servicing the room: a few towels (fewer than we originally had, so we had to share), clean glasses but no mugs, and no coffee restocked. They also refused to do any tidying or straightening of the room.||I understand that it’s a small hotel, but the attitude from the staff and the lack of basic service really brought the whole experience down. I expected much better.

We went to the restaurant on a lovely Sunday on my birthday. Met two friends there from Hilversum and really enjoyed our amazing lunch and service. Top-notch location, absolutely great service, friendly helpful and made me smile. The food was also so delicious and huge portions. My only regret is we haven't visited here sooner for lunch or dinner, since we live nearby. We sat in the dining area but the bar is beautiful and looks like a great place to hang out as well!

Just returned from a 3 night stay at M&M and I have nothing but positives to share. From the super friendly, helpful and welcoming staff to the beautiful room 9 and the lovely resturant. It's really a great place to stay for anyone looking for a quiet boutique hotel with bags of charm in a quiet and more chilled area of the city.

My family came to visit me in Amsterdam and stayed in Morgan & Mees. The service was absolutely incredible, the staff both at the restaurant and hotel were very friendly and sweet. The food was amazing - I had the pleasure of having breakfast and dinner on multiple occasions with them. The room was very nicely decorated and cozy. Big thanks to Kate for being so attentive to detail every single day! Can’t wait to go myself to the restaurant again, and my family is looking forward to visit soon and stay here! 😃

What a gem! Charming boutique hotel with clean rooms, chic decor, and very comfortable beds. Service is excellent and friendly. The restaurant is on the ground floor but everything is sound proof. Breakfast was incredible! I wish we had eaten more meals there actually. Our room was quiet and just perfect for us. It’s located in a great area of Amsterdam away from the crowds but still an easy walk, tram, or bus ride to the center. Public transport in Amsterdam in incredibly easy - just pay with ApplePay - no need for tickets - so hopping on the tram or the bus was very simple. Nearby are some great coffee and juice bars as well as an excellent bakery and ice cream and yogurt shop as well as a nice supermarket for purchasing snacks. We can’t wait to return one day!

Loved the ambiance, service and the delicious food and drinks. Our table of four ordered Palomas, oysters, steak tartare, ribs, chicken and the portobello mushroom. We ate and enjoyed every bite!

Not bad. My steak came out bloody although I requested medium. The food was average. Not wonderful. Not terrible. Very middle of the road but on the expensive side. And the steak was extremely salty.

tl;dr: high-scale, pricey, small portions, mixed food i came here with my girlfriend while on vacation in amsterdam. we made a reservation weeks ahead of time. when we arrived, we were seated immediately. service was not great. it might be a cultural thing, but it took very long before we received a menu, were seen by a waitress, and so forth. when we ordered water, we specified tap. we were served a bottle that the waitress told us had tap inside. when we received the check, we had to dispute a 6€ charge for bottled water. this was corrected after waiting the requisite 20 minutes to get our waitresses attention. the food was mixed. it was all very expensive and my girlfriend and i weren't really very hungry - we decided to share an appetizer and a main. on rec from the waitress we opted for the eggplant and the wild duck. the eggplant, a miniscule 6cm piece, was overcooked and completely overpowered by a sugary glaze. terrible. the duck was paired with pumpkin flavors and was spot on. perfectly cooked and covered in a delicious jus, my girlfriend and i were fighting over the last bite. it may have been the best duck i have ever had. our only complaint was the size of the portion. we didnt have dessert. overall, too expensive for such portions. i wish the eggplant would have been better.

where i discovered so far the best Pinotage, the ambiance is Dutch fun. go ahead dress up, style it up and have some fun. This is a people watching hot spot. The plates are pretty, the staff superb and attentive. I think this could be the best restaurant for this winter. Not much eye candy for me, but the girls are super cute, I didn't see any male waitstaff the toilets are very clean. I NEED TO GO BACK would i recommend this particular restaurant, Not really (just because i don't want too many people to crow it, But in all fairness, YES, an Uber recommendation for sure. why? just because it is a hot spot! (Hello!)

This was quite a wonderful place to eat. Our server gave us adequate time and came around in perfect timing. The food was absolutely delicious and if I did live there I would be eating there all the time. Clearly if you haven't made up your mind on where to eat, look no further please and take my word for it. This is the PLACE to eat at.

Can you give 5/5 as a Dutch man? Yes well maybe if you have been to the place for over 5 years and it keeps on improving... this hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar is a strange duck in the byte (Dutch expression). And it is superbe! Today I just ate two starters (soft shell crab and the ribs) and it was devine! The paring with wine was even more sensational!! Entrepreneurs loke this earn all the credits and I hope they branche out across the globe. You can taste the ingredients are superbe and the preparation and plating is just all that!!! Love it - Love it - Love it -

This is top of the line food and service, it's expensive but worth it... they take their time and so should you and your friends, it's an experience not just a place to say you have come and went.... Tasteful nostalgic music from our times past. Passionate bartenders and staff making love to their art of making amazing drinks you won't find I In a typical bar.. Food blowing up with freshness and flavors Had the soft shell crab as an appetizer , blew me away with its Thai infused influence. The cod had some amazing hints of butter yummiest. Staff friendly and honest will be back before I leave. Great place to impress people who are worth it...

Only went here for a tea, then a coffee - but I'm pleased to report this place is beautiful, the service is friendly, and the price is reasonable. We saw the burgers being served to another table, and I'd be alllll over that next time.

We had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine, copious amounts of coffee and hot mint tea, and the most scrumptious carrot cakes at an extremely languid pace - a most unusual experience for a New Yorker used to the urgency of turning tables during brunch. This was the perfect place for a much needed catch up with good friends just a few days after our engagement when we had so much to share. Service was excellent, interiors are sleek and stylish, and the food very, very good. As a New Yorker who takes brunch seriously, I highly recommend this spot!

Most delicious ribs I ever eat!!! The interior decoration and and exterior garden is sublime and waiters treat you as you are the lonely guest of restaurant!

I have dined around the world. Atmosphere is fun not stuffy. Open air kitchen. I had the tuna app and veal ribeye. Service was put standing. You must must try it. I am trying to replicate the dish now that I am home!

I had coffee and carrot cake; tasted good. It was busy but their service was fast. Nice classy atmosphere but it can be loud in the restaurant.

Stopped in on a Friday at 6:30pm, intending to dine at another restaurant down the street. The menu intrigued me, so I stayed and sat at the bar as no reservations were available for another hour and a half. (The hostess on the restaurant side wasn't super friendly, so technically should dock 1/2 star.). The bartender was great and was able to recommend a few dishes. I got the cod with pumpkin. Was underwhelmed at first bite as I tried the fish solo. But combined with the other flavors, it really was delicious. By 7pm the bar was packed. Seemed like mostly locals, which made me feel like I had found a good spot. The drink list didn't appeal to me, so I ordered a Bulleit Rye and ginger beer. Good stuff.

I've been a costumer here since the opening. The food, ambiance, service and setting were always great, until today! We ordered two coffee's and water. Unfortunately other costumers who arrived later were served first which really disappointed me. After 25 minutes our order still wasn't brought to us and we left! I hope you will spend more attention to this in the future.

Amazing restaurant and staff. Menu spot on with options from steak seafood veal. Top of the line quality. Tuna Tataki is what others strive for.

Absolutely delicious meal - oyster and a veal ribeye. The staff is very friendly and helpful, thoughtful and considerate. Started with a Genever (2 kinds) Negroni, which was excellent. The restaurant is just off the #3 tramline at Hugo de Groot. Highly recommended. Nice outdoor area with heat lamps.

I really want to like this place; it's got a great vibe, a lovely ambiance, and it's literally a block away from my house. But I've been about a dozen times and I've had the same exact experience every time; mediocre food and negligent Dutch service at its very worst. Go to Razmataz.
