Morgan Bay Hotel

Had an absolutely incredible stay at the Morgan Bay Hotel. The views are simply next level — waking up to the ocean right in front of you is something special and hard to beat. The food was consistently excellent, with a great variety and high quality across every meal. You can really tell care goes into the kitchen. What stood out the most though was the staff, genuinely friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make the stay seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a relaxed, coastal feel that makes it easy to switch off and enjoy. Having the beach just a short walk away is a huge plus, and the spa facilities are perfect for unwinding. Overall, a top-tier experience. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Our weekend was amazing! We have never had food that tasted so good. Noleen in the dining area and Thobile in the bar were so friendly and so welcoming (I hope I got the names right). Staff smiled every time I saw them. We had the best time and the best weekend. Thank you MBH! 🤍

The facilities were excellent, well-maintained, and catered to everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The food was also outstanding. One of the highlights was taking a peaceful stroll along the beach and walking into the beautiful hillside surroundings. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and makes it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Overall, it was time very well spent, and I would highly recommend Morgan Bay Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable coastal escape.

We had the most incredible weekend at Morgan Bay! The views were absolutely breathtaking, the atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating, and every moment felt like a proper reset from busy life. From early morning beach walks to relaxing evenings soaking in the scenery, it was pure magic. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful, relaxing coastal getaway — we’ll definitely be back!

We used the camping facilities which are in a stunning location right on the lagoon and 2 mins away from the sea. The ablutions are newly renovated and clean.The added bonus of being a 5 min walk from the hotel means that the Deck restaurant is easily accessible for delicious meals when you are feeling lazy. Wonderful camping spot for a relaxing recharge.

A place where diets come to die and the happiest memories are made. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely at home. The welcome is warm, genuine, and sets the tone for an unforgettable stay. The staff are exceptional—it’s so clear they love what they do, and that joy rubs off on everyone. The bar staff were the first three I really got to know, and wow… what a team! Tobile, Brad, and Unati are absolute legends. Always smiling, always around, and always mixing up the most incredible cocktails. Dangerous in the best possible way 🍹 Now let’s talk about the dining hall—come prepared. Stretchy pants are a must, or at least be ready to loosen a button or two. Jackey and the team create food that is so good you’ll want to try everything. And honestly? Nothing is not worth the calories. Just keep that gym membership active and enjoy every bite guilt-free. Portia and Linda took such great care of us during meals. They were friendly, attentive, amazing with the kids, and incredibly patient with our… slightly needy family moments. (I have a weird family—sorry, Portia 😅.) Our room was lovingly looked after by Zani, who is basically a cleaning fairy. She worked perfectly around infant nap times and somehow managed to make everything spotless without us even noticing. Even if Tobile’s cocktails had us sleeping until noon and getting ready for bed like overtired toddlers. The venue itself is exactly what you want from a holiday—plenty to keep the kids entertained, lots for adults to enjoy, and endless little spots to relax and unwind. Just book the holiday. I have never been this fat and happy in my life—and I wouldn’t change a thing. 😄

We stayed at the Morgan’s Bay Caravan Park for 25 days. Our experience was one of utter joy. From standing at the waters edge to seeing and hearing the waves a short walk away. The stands are level and grassed and well maintained and neat. The ablutions are the best we have ever seen. We covered 6700km on this trip and have not seen ablutions like this. Richard and Jacky (the owners) and their staff are service orientated and eager to assist and please. The restaurant and bar are top notch and the food is exceptional. The Saturday morning bakes are an experience to remember. Jacky is the one responsible for the freshly baked treats and breads and this must not be missed! Well done to all of you!

Wow I absolutely loved this hotel. The service was outstanding. The food delicious and the decor. Especially the wall papers. Lovely rooms with amazing views and manicured garden. Their website does not make the place justice. So much more beautiful in realty.
