This was a fabulous place to say. We had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor and everything was absolutely fantastic. We had a bedroom each and just so much space and so much furniture, as well as an outdoor terrace, kitchenette and big bathroom. The safe is very secure and large. We were so surprised at what a fantastic room we had and how comfortable everything was. We will definitely come and stay here again. The location was also fabulous and close to everything. Only a short walk to fabulous choices of food and we saw a musical a couple of blocks down on the corner, about Live Aid, called Just for one Day. One of the best musicals we have seen. Go and see it if you’re there. It’s worth it. The only negative was our first day having breakfast, which made me quite sick so we didn’t have it again but there were ample appliances in the kitchenette to make our own. Everything else was way beyond our expectations. I really like the idea of supporting a family owned business as well

Average and clean rooms with everything we needed. The great location and the excellent breakfast. The staff was amazing. We left early in the morning and we supposed to go to the airport by Uber - witch never came. We asked help from the reception, and and the nicest guy ever stepped out on the street and got as a taxi. We made it to the airport just in time.

Very disappointing. Misleading listing and unsafe conditions. I booked this hotel via Booking.com for a stay with my 78-year-old mother. Upon arrival, we discovered the NO ELEVATOR, and we were assigned a room on the third floor. This crucial detail was not clearly stated in the listing — this is misleading advertising To make things worse, the stairs were being painted and the entire building was filled with a strong smell of fresh paint. My mother is allergic, and it became impossible to stay. We had to leave the hotel at midnight and urgently find another place to sleep. We paid €338 for a service we couldn’t use, and the hotel refused to refund us — even though the conditions were clearly unacceptable and unhealthy. You cannot offer a hotel with fresh paint fumes and NO ELEVATOR to guests, especially without clear warnings. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially elderly travelers or those with sens

This hotel is in a fantastic location for the British Museum and other attractions. Our apartment was a bit dated but very roomy and clean. Comfy beds and two TVs! Full English Breakfast was tasty and between 4 of us, we explored all the options that are presented with regards to egg choice. Here are our findings. Poached eggs are runny and served as a pair side by side so they look a bit like googly eyes. If you ask for fried eggs you only get one. This may be because the plate is a bit small. The best choice in terms of sheer egg volume are the scrambled eggs. They are served in a large wobbly golden pile and using my non professional egg-estimating experience I would say contains more than two eggs overall. So if you have come to London for eggs, come to the Morgan hotel and order Full English with scrambled eggs for breakfast.

We are a family of three and we stayed at one of the apartments. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily too. The housekeeping staff always filled up the tea, coffee and Biscoff cookies in the kitchen. The apartment was comfortable and the washrooms and kitchen appear to have been updated. A coffee table in the main living area is something that was missing that would have made eating in a bit easier. The shower water temperature setting was a bit flaky in that it sometimes cycled between extreme hot and cold for a prolonged period before moderating to a warm temperature. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying and wait staff were always pleasant with quick service. You may not want to eat the full English breakfast everyday for a long stay, but it is a great option to have. Overall, we recommend The Morgan Hotel for its value, excellent location and service.

First of all, location was the reason we chose Morgan Hotel. When we checked in, we asked for a room in the top level but instead we were given room #203, on the ground floor because it was fully booked. It was immediately clear that the room has a problem. We noted an odor when we walked in, the bedroom wall next to the bathroom has water damaged and along with mold. These affected my allergies and triggered my asthma. We were forced to leave a slight opening in the window in the room and bathroom which left our room cold all the time. I wasn’t able to sleep comfortably the entire stay due to the smell. Until this room is fixed, no one should stay in this room 203. We paid over 200 pounds a night in a miserable room. I demand a discount because of my suffering. On the 2nd day of our stay, we could not find the receptionist to address our problem. When we checked out, the receptionist showed no concern.

Hotel was very well situated for west end, shopping and sight seeing. Room was ok, clean but shabby. Curtains didn’t fit carpet thread bare. Bathroom very small and had terrible smell which after investigating ourselves as no one at hotel to help, we found it was the soap dispenser it was vile, no idea why it was so bad. It stunk the whole room that evening. Air con was very noisy. Will not be returning

Looks like owner is making changes. Decorating etc. Quality carpet. My room has a patio. Great shower. Odd to walk along street to breakfast 5 doors along.

Yelp
Our humble abode in London. There is a free breakfast until 9:30. There are no frills at this hotel but it does have a great location.

Yelp
This is our second stay at The Morgan in a year. It is well-managed, well-located, good full English breakfast, size able, well-kept, and recently updated rooms in the annex (40 Bloomsbury) where we have been staying. The Wards (it is a family run hotel) have been very helpful and hospitable during both of our stays. For London it is a great value for money in a good location (near University College London, the British Museum, and Bloomsbury). Recommended.

Yelp
Where to start...My wife and I have been to the U.K and London 6 times over the last 12 years...each time we say we should try some other place to stay...then both look at each other and say....why?...The Morgan is perfect for us...clean...safe...friendly...well- located...not too pricey and has a darn good english breakfast every morning. We have stayed both in the rooms of the main hotel and the suites that are just down the block. The british museum is a 2 minute walk away and tube stations are within 5. If you want lavish big rooms this may not be the place for you but if you want a great place to relax after a full day, you should try this place.
