Morgan's Wonderland

Morgan’s wonderland really warmed my heart. We went Labor Day weekend for my son’s birthday. This is the first place where I felt my son actually belonged and catered to him. This place is for everyone ,but this was the first time my son was actually able to enjoy himself y getting on all of the attractions , without any limitations. They even have swings you are able to get on with your wheelchair. I didn’t have to worry about where to change him or any other special accommodations. Even if your lived on is autistic, Morgan’s wonderland is perfect for them because it’s not too over stimulating, where they will become overwhelmed. They have a section to switch out your wheelchair if you want to go to the splash pad to get wet. It’s very affordable. The topping in the cake is most of the workers was special needs. It showed if given the chance, they were just as hardworking and professional as anyone else. It’s sad that I’ve never heard of Morgans Wonderland before. If it wasn’t for my husband, discovering this place on land,we would’ve missed this amazing establishment. You can really feel the father’s love of the owner for his daughter Morgan. To top it off,while leaving, I noticed a building next to it MAC,which is a resource center ( I’m assuming for people with special needs,which stems from Morgan’s wonderland) if I was to meet the owner, I would give him a big hug. With all of the money Disney has,and not think of the little things that matters the most and help with the physically and visually impaired. We may make Morgan’s wonderland an annual vacation for my son,

This place was so much fun for my almost 3 year old nephew. He had a blast the water attractions were the best for him. Will definitely be going again for the third time. Morgan's staff is amazing! ❤️❤️🎉

An absolutely incredible place! Morgan’s Wonderland isn’t just a theme park—it’s a place built on kindness, inclusivity, and joy. Unlike most parks, every ride, play area, and activity is designed so people of all abilities can participate. Whether you’re visiting with kids, adults, or someone with special needs, everyone truly gets to enjoy the experience together. The rides are fun but not overwhelming, perfect for families. They’ve got an accessible Ferris wheel, playgrounds, water play areas, and even catch-and-release fishing. The park is spotless, staff are genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere feels more like a celebration of community than a crowded amusement park. One of the best parts is that guests with disabilities get in free, which really shows how much this park values its mission.

Inspiring and just like the name absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. My daughter immediately fit right in. We flew in from Georgia just to come here for her senior trip. It was everything we imagined and more.

My 5 year old loved it! Even my husband and I had so much fun! No loud music, which made our trip a lot more enjoyable. Very friendly staff and well structured. We will definitely drive few hours to visit. Worth every penny.

Morgan’s Wonderland is a one-of-a-kind park that truly lives up to its mission of inclusivity. It’s designed to accommodate individuals of all abilities, making it a fantastic place for families and friends to enjoy together. One of the things I absolutely loved was how seamlessly everyone interacted, whether you had a disability or not. There was no sense of separation. Everyone played, laughed, and enjoyed the park as equals. The wheelchair accessibility was phenomenal, and even those with mobility challenges could experience the rides, which is something you don’t see at most amusement parks. The covered picnic area was another highlight : clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing between activities. My only downside was the restrooms near the picnic area. They were small, with only two stalls, which led to long lines. If you needed to assist someone with toileting or changing, there really wasn’t enough room to do so comfortably. I hope they consider expanding or redesigning that space in the future. Overall, Morgan’s Wonderland is an incredible place that fosters fun and inclusivity for everyone. I highly recommend it to families looking for a park that truly welcomes all.

An incredible place for families of all ages and abilities! We visited Morgan’s Wonderland using our GetOut Passes and had such a wonderful experience. We rode all the rides, visited the waterpark, and my kids especially loved the zip line and fishing area! There truly is something for everyone here. The park was super clean, the lines were short, and the staff was so friendly. I also love the heart and mission behind Morgan’s Wonderland—it’s such a special place doing amazing things. We’re so happy to support them and can’t wait to go back. Everyone should check this place out!

I had the privilege to tour this amazing, ultra inclusive park during my Therapeutic Recreation conference. I had never known about such a wonderful place. This amusement park was specifically designed for people with disabilities to be able to enjoy the amusement experiences with their friends and families. There was so much information about the different rides and themes and learning about Morgan and her family. I definitely recommend everyone checking this place out.

An amusement park unlike any other -- specifically designed to be accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this park wasn't just accommodating -- it was built with everyone in mind. They've gone above and beyond offering waterproof wheelchairs at the splash pad water park, so no one misses out on the fun. The zip line experience is exhilarating and inclusive. With adaptive five-point harnesses and trained, compassionate staff, guests with limited mobility can soar through the air safely and confidently. The playgrounds are thoughtfully designed for accessibility without losing any of the excitement. Smooth, wide pathways, sensory-friendly areas, and equipment that accommodates kids of all abilities mean everyone can play together, not apart. I was thankful for all the shade provided and the soft floor padding was a bonus. Every staff member we met was kind, trained, and empowered. They did a great job and added to the value of our day. If you or a loved one has a disability or have small children and are looking for an amusement park experience, Morgan's is an excellent place with a beautiful story of a father's dedication and love. Highly recommend.

Our new place to take the kids. Plenty of places for them to run around snd stay busy for a good long time. Rides are not too scary, so that's cool. Good way to get the kids used to rides. Especially if other kids are enjoying the rides. They have fishing, a boat ride, carousel, Ferris wheels, playscape. A cool zip line, that one may the most scariest ride. Shoots you over the lake. Plenty of food and drinks. Nor super expensive, grounds are clean. Bathrooms are clean.

What a truly amazing experience! Both of my kids had a wonderful and SAFE experience at Morgan's!! My son has CP and a wheelchair and at Morgan's he was able to do so many things with ease and enjoy the water park safely! I feel very blessed to have the ability to take my son here! He absolutely loved it!

3.5 Stars. Having worked with the Special Needs population for almost twenty years I feel a deep connection to them. The reality is that the world is becoming more difficult for them to navigate in. Beyond the confines of their own schools, interaction with other populations is most unlikely. Thus "Morgan's Wonderland" serves a societal need for inclusion. I remember when this place opened it was revolutionary. In many ways it still is. But the differences then and now are stark. Spring Break came early for me, providing an opportunity to take a friend's daughter to experience something unique. She is neurotypical. And I think it's important to expose her to different cultures and to special populations. We bought tickets for a coolish Spring morning anticipating it would be crowded. Firstly, signage for parking was not visible. We parked into a lot nearby the Toyota Field for Soccer, which by late afternoon was abundant. Walking towards the park we noticed that Inspiration Island was closed, which wasn't an issue. But being wanded before we went in was a bit strange to me. Once inside the host asks you, "Are you special needs?" Families with special needs children and their caregivers get free admission. We opted to pay admission, which is $28 dollars for adults and $20 dollars for children under 12. I understand parties are supposed to be given wristbands, as safety measures but we never received any. Since the place wasn't busy we could move freely. In my opinion this was beneficial for children wheelchair bound or with autism. The thing that I truly appreciated about this place is that most of their staff had some type of disability. For example one worker had an intellectual disability. Another one had autistim. I saw some of the cleaning staff in wheelchairs ensuring floors were immaculate. In addition any questions you had someone was there to answer. The place is vast with playgrounds, pavilions and specific amusement attractions. Some of the highlights were the skybike and the pirate boat ride. Other things of attraction. There is a Ferris wheel that can facilitate wheel bound parkgoers. A small epicenter contains rooms with sensory activities. In addition there is a tiny cinema theater that shows inspirational short films with visually impaired or auditory children in mind. If you listen, the soundtrack playing above is meant to create a fun and safe atmosphere. So why didn't I give this place five or at least four stars? My review is not to chide this place. However two amusement rides were down, the zipline and the train ride. Without these, the options made the park seem smaller. I hope to return in the near future to see if Inspiration Island opens up this park's vision. In my opinion it needs to add a few more rides or interactive activities. Places like The San Antonio Zoo, The Doseum are already offering interactive activities that can appeal to both children without disabilities and the special needs population. Before I go quick tips: Pack food and water and leave it at the pavilion. You don't need to worry about anybody taking it and why haul it all day. They do have snack bars and gift shops. Please buy something from either. My review is not to discourage you from going but a challenge to the Hartman family in fine tuning it just a smidge. I will return in the Summer and I'm sure the review will be bumped higher.

We had a play date at Morgan's Wonderland with a toddler and two 7 year olds our Easter. First and foremost the staff were phenomenal, smiles from everyone. The park was spotless, safety was the top priority. The kids had a blast, we didn't get a chance to go to the water park, but this will definitely be our go to wonderland.

Let's review Inspiration Island...it's great, but could use more shade. In and of itself, Inspiration Island is a nice splash pad. In order to get into the Morgan's Wonderland water park, you gotta pay the dual pass. You can't just buy entry into the one. Next thing to understand is the shade comes at a premium. If you get there later you will be out in the sun. You can purchase the use of Cabanas for a price, if you wish. Locker rentals are also available. We chose to come Saturday to allow our godson, who is almost 2yo (admission free) to enjoy some time with us. I think a lot of the attractions at Inspiration Island are age and ability appropriate for him. The food available at the park varies. There are some vendors on the grounds. We were able to purchase some chicken fingers and fries that were pretty good, and some snow cones. The park itself has some snacky items for sale too. All the water amusements are manned by lifeguards and they are rotated fairly regularly. Safety first. The river raft ride is uncovered and slow. On a sunny day, you're gonna fry. You don't even get wet...on water ride at the water park. The water is there, but you can't get in... hands and feet must be kept in the raft. There are some speakers that looked like they played music or animal sounds, but now...nothing; making it seem like an underutilized unmaintained afterthought. They could do better here. That aside most of the pipes were working at the rest of the splash pads. You have slides that for the littles, lots of fountains, a xylophone, a huge water bucket that dumps it's contents regularly, and lots of colors. It was a good time. The shade is a must find though.

This was my first time here and the staff and facilities were amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They engaged with the guests and made sure we had fun.

We've gone several times so we became season pass holders. We love this inclusive park for our daughters. Our eldest has autism and she now she even requests we take her using her AAC device. There's so much to do on both sides of the park! Ferris wheel, rides, playgrounds, toy store, sensory activities, splash pads and a warm one as well. The staff is friendly as well. 10 out of 10 experience!

What an incredible place for the family! I love how they cater to everyone, including with special needs. I love the story behind the inspiration of making this beautiful theme park! I brought my boyfriend's daughter and she had a blast! She rode the carousel, the train, and the ferris wheel. She enjoyed some of the interactive parts they had to offer like the supermarket, weather reporting where you can stand in front of a green screen, and drawing on a computer. They also have a waterpark which is a separate admission ticket. It does not have a pool but a good variety of things like waterslides, splash pads, and a boat ride. She had so much fun! It was well kept, the area was very clean, plenty of parking that was a short distance away from the entrance!

As an Aunt and Caregiver of a 46 year old Adult with Cerebral Palsy that has the intellectual ability of a 12 year old. We left today feeling frustrated and very disappointed. I want to say the staff is definitely above par and they definitely deserve a five star review for effort and for making us feel seen heard and understood. With that being said my niece does not wear adult diapers. We had driven down from Waco with plans to spend the entire day but were forced to leave early due to there not being a hoyer lift available in one of the accessible bathrooms. There was a changing table that lifts for getting them ready for toileting, but how do you get a 200 lb grown adult to said changing table from their wheelchair? If you can then how do you get them on a child size toilet? Plus there were not any ADA handrails to help them stay in a seated position. Your advertising says inclusive for all but you are not truly inclusive. We were in a group of about 12 who most are season pass members. Who felt horrible because they invited us thinking there would be a hoyer lift available since there is one available in the changing room in the water park. The staff were going to try to see if we could use the hoyer lift in the water park , but again there was no toilet in that changing room. The other issue we had was there were a few rides that do not accommodate electric wheelchairs. Not every handicap person visiting Morgan's fits the stereotypical assumption that all of them wear diapers and fit in tiny wheelchairs. Most quadriplegic wheelchairs have six wheels not four to prevent them from tipping. I get that most use to not live into adult years, but with todays modern advancements we need to realize to be truly inclusive you have to be truly inclusive or it's false advertisement. I almost forgot to say on a Thursday there should have been plenty of handicap spots available, but due to field trips they had one entire handicap parking lot blocked off to accommodate them instead of the worrying about the handicap people who do not have great vision having to drive from the back parking lots because again they aren't the reason the park was built. Which again is not ADA compliant. I love the idea of there being an amusement park accessible for most disabled people. JUST NOT ALL OF THEM!!

I haven't been here since it first opened, and I still love the inclusivity about it! It's a great place for young kids to play! I was disappointed that the sensory house area has changed for the worst- they no longer have the interactive projections on the floor. There was something with sand but it wasn't working, nor was the green screen for the weather channel. Overall it is a wonderful, family friendly place to visit.

Wow, this is a good place for children and disabled people. I am disappointed in their policies. we bought a year membership for the whole family and then without notice they shut down the second half of our year to do a remodel. I never felt like they cared or they did not reimburse us anything for the second half of our year and we were planning on going for Christmas time. So I doubt we will ever go back. Which is sad because they do have a lot of fun things to do with the kids.

Our whole purpose of flying to San Antonio was to visit this park. And it did not disappoint. My son had a blast. I would come again if plane tickets and hotels weren't so expensive. This park really is ultra-inclusive. Children with disabilities can just be children and enjoy themselves.

First timers here. Love how inclusive it is! Not a huge park compared to the zoo or six flags. The water park was perfect for the hot weather. We got there when it opened and parking was very simple and easy. Employees were friendly and very welcoming. Our toddler LOVED the water slides and the instruments they had at the park with the frogs and mushrooms. Very open and sensory enhanced. I loved how calm everything was and the employees were so sweet and could tell they loved their job. Definitely would go again.

A lovely place to leisurely spend the day. We drove in from Austin for our kids to have a little fun on Sunday and Morgan's was just perfect. 90 minutes by car! Tickets were easy to purchase from mobile and just scanned a code at the entrance. They have a fishing pier with bait and hand washing stations. People were catching (and releasing) huge fish. The kids has a lot of fun. They also have cars that you can "drive", a Ferris wheel, a merry go round, a train, a nice shaded sand area to play and lots of playground spots. The place is pristinely clean. I am so happy this place exists!

Took my daughter for the first time to the park. We really enjoyed everything the park had to offer. Great day having fun and watching her play. Will go to waterpark side next time!

Great place for kids of all abilities. They had lots of different rides. While unfortunately the Ferris wheel was not operating we still had lots of fun. My son loved the boat ride, fishing, and Zipline. We will definitely be coming back especially to try the water park

This place is amazing. It gives wonderful opportunities for people with all different disabilities to experience and play like every child should. I highly recommend. Being at Morgan's Wonderland touched my heart and I know it will for you too.

This place is wonderful! I went there with a family member who will be working there for the summer and joined the orientation for the teens. What a caring, fun and thoughtful environment with genuinely great trained staff. It's fun safe and perfect!

We have driven by Morgan's Wonderland tons of times and never been before. One of my daughter's friends had her birthday here. What a wonderful place! There is so much to do. There are swings, a playground, sand box, ferris wheel, petting zoo, train, imagination area, and more. My favorite part was the petting zoo. I'm not sure if it is there all the time or just the night we went. My daughter loved the imagination building. It has a weather center, market, game room, sand play area, and a cool create a character room. We will definitely be back!

It's an amazing fun place for everyone to enjoy every time I go I have fun and it's for all ages.

This park is excellent for all children. It's very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and they were very attentive to the safety of their guests. The food for purchase as well as the water and soda are not exorbitantly marked up like sea world and other parks. the sensors area was very nice and a smaller scale of what you'd get a the do-seum. The multiple splash pad areas were a lot of fun for our kids. It was a great day and not overly crowded.

My girls always have a blast at Morgan's wonderland! Friendly staff and great entertainment for hours. Swings, slides, shopping , meteorology area...& not to mention the water park area:). We are a season pass holder and will continue to be one :). Thanks for the great experience Morgan's wonderland!!!

Our family had such a wonderful day at Morgan's Wonderland. The children enjoyed the playgrounds, rides and the water park. What stole the day was the fishing. Captain Chris was so perfect at showing our daughter how to use the fishing pole, putting on bait and showing her how to be patient. He even threw in bait to get the catfish to come to the surface. His guidance of being patient paid off and our daughter caught a large mouth bass. She was ECSTATIC! Thank you, Captain Chris. I'm sure we will be seeing you again soon.

This place is wonderful! It has something for all kids, it is ultra accessible to EVERYONE! I took my 2 grandkids and they had a great time. All the rides were accessible for those who walked, rolled or were pushed. The staff were very nice and happy to see that this was our first time there. While in line, I was talking to a young man who told me about the place and how he gets in for free because he has the designation. I am not PC type of person & I was in Special Ed when I was in the 2nd grade in school so I will say that he was special. If you are special, you get in for FREE. He said that he really likes the place. I think that that is GREAT that they would encourage special people to come to where they can go and play in a place that provides the way to experience all the rides and water activities than may not be available otherwise. The Sensory Station is an interactive experience - giving the weather, running a grocery store, computer games, a light projection room where you can be surrounded by butterflies, minnows, water being poured on you, to playing the sand and holding "projected" sea creatures in the sand. The rides have larger spaces for wheel chairs for those needing them on the motor cars & the carousel. There are 5 space pads for water activities and they are kept clean and the staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful time & we encourage everyone to go to Morgan's Wonderland. Great place.

What an amazing relaxed place to just enjoy with your kids and grandkids. Many different options of play that are accessible to all. So great to see kids interacting with people of all abilities and having fun with everyone.

This is to the best of my knowledge the only place of its kind. This is a fully inclusive place be it the amusement park, sports complex, campground or the new MAC center.

Lovely, kind, clean, safe and friendly park! The park was founded in benevolence and remains so today. Affordable and the most value of any nearby amusement experience.

This place rocks! My first visit but only because my parents dragged me here. My parents whenever they come into town do the following: 1. Take me to H-E-B to buy me veggies and fruits or bring me Costco sized bags because I need more vitamins and fiber in my system. 2. Remind me to wear sweaters, jackets, etc because it may get chilly! 3. Drive me around my own hood and tell me to look both ways before crossing. I joke, but my parents probably look at me, and see a 5 year old girl always, even though I can probably hang with the big kids talking about their benefits and 401ks. So Morgan's wonderland is a great place to go for those who are special needs, handicap or have children up to 7. My brother is a special needs and autistic person and growing up, we never saw anything like this. Though the family lives in Houston, and I put my roots down in Austin, we get free tickets from the Autism folks of his insurance to bring the whole family down for fun! In San Antonio, it's about an hours drive from Austin and there is abundant parking. Sidewalks are so clean and wide, lots of places to set up, bring your own cooler and have lunch but food court prices aren't crazy. We rode the train, little mini car, ferries wheel and carousel. It's too kiddy for me but for my brother, he loves trains and really enjoyed the train ride. Inside the buildings, there were the cutest news/tv station setup, along with pretend grocery store. I have extremely fond memories of playing grocery shopping at the children's museum as a child. There is lots to do if you've got little tots and want them to enjoy! Low crowds, and on a perfect weather day, keeps your spirits high! The water works area is fun and when we went in October, absolutely loved the pumpkins strewn about. Special needs or young functioning folks alike, can have fun and all the volunteers are so wonderful! So excited to have been able to go and when I have kiddos of my own someday can see them enjoying this place!

What a wonderful park! We took our toddler and bought the season pass that day. It really is for everyone and the staff are so kind and patient. The splash pad is great and I love that we're able to bring a cooler in.

The only amusement park that is sensitive to and built for people on the spectrum and is free entry for those on the spectrum. Great for kids with all types of exceptionalities. I never had to wonder if the autistic person I was with would be comfortable and happy. A blast with tons of rides and fun!

We were debating on going to Schlitterbahn, I'm so glad we came here instead! We went here on Father's Day and it wasn't to many people and we all had a blast! Our 3 year old son isn't a fan of big slides and just likes to splash around in a little water. And this place was perfect for that! Literally 1/3 of the price of Schlitterbahn, (we paid $51, Schlitterbahn would've been $172) and probably had more fun then we would've had having to wait in lines and fight the crowds. Definitely worth checking out and it's just an amazing thing what they have created here, making all kids feel equal. Although we only did the water side of the park, we are going to try and return later on to see the amusement side too! I wish I would've known, they also let you bring in your own food and drinks!

Best part of our vacation!! We spent 4 days in San Antonio during Spring Break and this was by far the best place we found. (We also visited the San Antonio Zoo, the park, the river walk, Doseum, etc.) How can we explain this place other than "MAGICAL." Everything is geared towards families. Bring in your own food and drinks (just no glass), plenty of bathrooms, plenty of picnic areas, great parking options, super friendly staff to help out, great shows, fun rides, amazing playscapes... I could go on and on. After 30 minutes at the zoo our kids were bored and we felt like we were dragging them around all day; we stayed at Morgan's Wonderland for 6 hours. Best money we ever spent and it all goes towards the non-profit. (Yeah!) We had such a great time that I didn't mind splurging at the gift shop on the way out to buy all the kids t-shirts and stuffed butterflies. We loved our visit here and can't wait to come back soon. Facilities - 5 stars Staff- 5 stars Cleanliness - 5 stars Onsite food - 5 stars (actually really tasty) Kid friendly - 5 stars A wonderful place built on a great premise.

We recently bought memberships because we like to visit so often. (Except for my son, who gets in for free because he is on the autism spectrum.) the butterfly playground and the pirate island playground are some of the best equipped in the city. There are jeep rides, a miniature train, a Ferris wheel, and a carousel. In the summer, there is a water park. It's amazing the variety of activities and the creative ways that the park makes them inclusive. Fun things seem to just pop up, like dance parties with Joy and the Wonder Squad. For food, the chicken strip basket is pretty good, or you can pack a picnic.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have Morgan Wonderland in our home town! Love the shaded areas throughout the park, it's the perfect size for walking around so you're not wore out getting from point to point. Perfect for the entire family, we bought season passes and we'll renew for sure next year. Boat ride was such an unexpected delightful surprise with all the safari animals! Thrilled to use the lockers and there's food here too! I love I'm not hunting down a restroom with my lil' grandaughter, plus they're large and clean, Thank You! Great experience for the whole family! Psst.... NO charge for parking! Plus the best, friendliest staff members all around!

Wonderful Park for special needs children. We took my daughter for her birthday and the whole family had a great time. Ameen at the Ferris Wheel was so helpful and all of the employees were attentive. Made our trip special

- First of all, why aren't more people going here? It is so uncrowded for all the things they offer, kind of strange not having to wait in lines, etc. It's a theme park designed for people with special needs (who are always admitted free of charge, no question asked), but you don't have to have a special need to go there or enjoy it. In fact, one of the benefits of bringing your kids there is seeing a place that is truly inclusive for everyone. - PERFECT for the 6 and under crowd! They have very easy rides: train, Ferris wheel, carousel, "off road" cars that go on a track, an indoor sensory pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater with live shows, plus several playgrounds and swings. Maybe the most fun/unexpected activity is the fishing area, where volunteers will help your kid bait their line and catch a catfish -- these suckers weigh like 4 lbs. It's all catch and release, so they live long lives getting fat on hot dog bait. - The new waterpark is really lovely -- it's more like a series of giant splash pads, each with a unique theme (pirate ship, tropical lagoon, etc.). The first splash pad has warmer water, which is helpful for people with sensory issues. - We thought we would spend maybe 3-4 hours max, and instead we were there from 10am-5pm, when they closed (check Facebook for any advertised closings, as sometimes they close the park early for sporting events). Plan for a long day! - You can bring your own food and beverage into the park. This summer they are serving free lunches to kids (under 12 I think?) provided by the area school district, runs through early August. There is also a snack stand on-site selling chicken fingers, fries, etc.

They had such a friendly staff (even when it was super hot out), fun environment, loved it and will be back!

It's fun for the kids, the food bar don't expect alot. And sadly they are only open Friday through Sunday
