Google
Tiny, counter-service place. Chorizo breakfast burrito was awesome, as well as the coffee. Shoestring potatoes were a nice bonus. Great service.

Jonathon Bajas

Google
I absolutely LOVED this cafe. The Friendliest people on Earth who care about good quality ingredients. Coffee was spectacular. Coconut Pastry was VERY good. Chorizo Breakfast Tacos did not miss. I didn't wanna leave the picnic table. I was really enjoying myself. EXCELLENT place to start your morning or get a quick brunch.

Lori Nosal

Google
Such an amazing place! So cute, it's just a counter you order from and eat outside on the picnic tables. $13 Cuban was out of this world delicious and it was big enough to share. Service was wonderful, super sweet lady at the counter. We will be back!

Andrea Foster

Google
This is my favorite little breakfast stop! Can’t go wrong with anything they make but the chorizo burrito is the best.

Caleb Goodwin

Google
Great lunch counter spot. The tables are outside, so don’t expect air conditioning. The flavors were on point, and the serving was satisfying.

Kelly Gleason

Google
This is a great place! We had breakfast burritos and coffee this morning and they were perfect. Yummy food, nice people, interesting art and birds! You order inside, wait outside. There are tables outside in the shade. Looking forward to lunch!

Emma Cody

Google
Stopped here for a quick lunch bite...it was delicious and the employees were so nice! Empanadas are served fresh and the Cuban quesidilla was so flavorful. 10/10 will be back for flan!

Google
Wonderful spot, often overlooked by visitors. Food is homemade by 3-4 family members. Service is amazing, food outstanding!

Yelp
Great food with a homestyle vibe and friendly service. Brings me back home every time!

Yelp
We ordered Morita's for breakfast and headed to 7 mile bridge and enjoyed a picnic brunch! Perfect choice. The breakfast tacos were delicious and I loved the quesadilla that I ordered with shredded chicken and sweet plantains. The side of sour cream in a cute little cup was a perfect topper. I also got a cafe con leche that was incredible. Can't resist a Cuban coffee!! I ordered to go and went next door to grab some souvenirs from the salon next door while I waited for my food. When I came back the gals in the kitchen were singing and then chatting with me. I had heard that this place was not to be missed and that it is a cute family owned place with great service and I couldn't agree more! Very nice family and food that made me wish I had more room to keep eating!

Yelp
Absolutely yummy food! A little hole in the wall on the way back from Key West. A gem of a place with such friendly people. My hubby and I shared the Cuban and a Caribbean wrap. Lucky for us we could each try 1/2! I will crave this food...

Yelp
This is the perfect picture of a local authentic Cuban deli restaurant. It has authentic flavorful ingredients. It has friendly interactions with everyone who comes through the door. Whether you sit outside or take it with you, your mouth will thank you, your stomach will thank you, your pocketbook or wallet will thank you. I'd go every day if I had the chance.

Yelp
Food was tasty and the people were really friendly! I had the specials for the day and really liked the ropa vieja, tasty and tender. Wish I got the beans instead of the chicken soup for my rice, even though the soup was grub! Lol

Anna S.

Yelp
Delicious Cubano! The sandwich is huge and has the perfect amount of everything on it, also have to get a side of their homemade hot sauce to dip it in!
google avatar

Lexy S.

Yelp
Authentic small/quaint place with amazing food and service. The staff were friendly and recommended their Cuban breakfast on a sandwich with chorizo, and it did not disappoint. Cafe con leche was the best we've had! Highly recommend. Outdoor seating is available/ no indoor seating.

Yelp
Shack Stop Get some fresh comida and be happy. Family owned Cuban sandwich (not on Cuban bread like in TPA, more like hogue roll) thick ham, pork and special sauce which was a tang pickle Mayo mix- good stuff
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
We were looking for a delicious hole-in-the-wall, not touristy breakfast place. Boy did we find it! The service was incredibly welcoming, nice, helpful, accommodating. The food was delicious. I can't wait to come back here. Worth a stop.

Yelp
Delicious, friendly ladies who can whip up some good Cubans , also got the chicken and rice and beans and some of their homemade mild sauce to go on top. Will def be back if in area again , it was really good and by far best Cuban sandwhich on the trip to the Keys !

Yelp
100% recommend. Stop here. Don't second guess. It seems small and a bit of a hole In the wall but there is something magical that happens in that kitchen that sets this place apart from anything else in the area. Literally everything that came out of the kitchen was complimented by me or one or the other patrons. We ordered at the counter which was literally small enough to be part of the kitchen and sat outside under the deck at a picnic table. There were others there and we weren't immediately sure we made a great choice but one by one people who finished re-approached the ordering counter and complimented the food. The anticipation grew and it culminated in a symphony of delicious satisfaction. This is where you want to stop on your way into key west. It's better than anything we had in our time in New west proper and came with off key prices. We got two meals, two drinks, and dessert for under $30 and it was the highlight of our trip.

Yelp
The best Cuban food I've had! We got the breakfast tacos, Cuban mix and steak sandwiches, everything was so flavorful (the sauces they use is just )and the ladies working were so so sweet! Highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on our way out of Key west. Delicious sandwiches, we ordered the Cuban mix and the pork sandwich. They were delicious!
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
Awesome Cuban food, nice people. I eat there several times a week when I am in the area. Pork sandwich and the Cuban mix and both delicious and I switch back and forth between the two sandwiches. Best Cuban food in the keys for sure
google avatar

Billy F.

Yelp
I love this place, I frequent the lower Keys frequently for work and lunch here is the highlight of my day! Great fresh food, great service with a smile! This is an absolute roadside gem!

Lori F.

Yelp
Awesome Cuban breakfast wrap and sandwich! Loved the chorizo! The homemade salsa sauce was very flavorful!

Corinne R.

Yelp
Staff so friendly and the food was delicious 10/10. The coffee, the bread, chorizo. If you are looking for authentic Cuban food this is your place
google avatar

Sherry G.

Yelp
Best food on the island. The beef Cuban quesadilla is the best ever! Fast and friendly service.

Hannah B.

Yelp
To sum: those who know GO! Visited Key West for the first time in January and found this little hole in the wall - food was so good, are here 4x in the week we were here. Back again 6 months later and here we are eating again! Food is incredible, people are incredibly kind, and service is great. FLAVOR FLAVOR FLAVOR!

Uriah F.

Yelp
Awesome food and service. Support local family owned businesses. These folks are very appreciative when you come to their restaurant.

Abbie C.

Yelp
This place is just plane amazing!! I went here with my mom and brother on vacation and they were at first questioning it because it looks like your definition of a "hole in the wall". As we went in the staff was so beyond friendly and the food was some of the best i've had in the keys. This place is a must for anyone for breakfast or lunch!
google avatar

Mark P.

Yelp
Dios mio! Delicioso. You won't want to miss this small hole in the wall - they're so much more than that. Absolutely wonderful lovingly prepared Cuban classics with fabulous friendly hospitality that might remind you of home. I sort of felt like I was asking mom to make us lunch. Loving, doting people. Yes, they take credit cards. Yes they might could be out of this or that, they're small, but hey, that's just going to make you want to come back some other time. I'm sure of it. Jonesing for the tamales here! Counter service with some fun ecclectic outside seating. Cuban was spectacular. Pork chops lunch special was nom nom nom yum yumn. Lol. That yucca tho. What a treat!
google avatar

Mari C.

Yelp
Food , Cuban cafecitos and customer service were all wonderful! Cute little spot no dine in, only take out , they do have outdoor seating.

Kurt W.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect but when I saw the crowd on a Thursday afternoon I knew I stumbled on to something. I walked in and it looked and felt like I was in Cuba having a meal with friends and family. The coffee was excellent and my my lunch time special pork cooked in a wine sauce was even better. I will be going back for lunch again today! Can't wait...

Yelp
They are always late to open..... Some say they open at 8 Some say they open at 9 To bad because we would love to patronize this place during Latin Heritage Month

Michelle M.

Yelp
Agree with all of the other 5 star reviews; 100%. Great food! Great service! BEST Cuban sandwich ever

Steven J.

Yelp
Got the breakfast cuban sandwich and a Cartadito. Super tasty and cheap, absolutely great. The cuban bread was the best I've had in the Key West area. must try
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Best Cuban food around. I always stop for black beans n rice with their amazing picodeguio. There are picnic tables outside under cover with a fan. We'll worth the stop!
google avatar

Yelp
Morita's is an amazing and unique take on a cuban mix. Good food, served with a smile. Recommend for sure!

Yelp
We stopped by on our way from Key West back to Miami and had a delicious lunch here. It's a tiny place but don't let that fool you! The food was excellent, and the customer service was pleasant and welcoming. The portions were great for the price; much more reasonable than what you'd find in Key West and it's not that far away. Do yourself a favor and check it out! I had the Cuban Sandwich and my significant other chose the special. The Cuban was excellent - it was my first time trying one and it may have been one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten. It was a big sandwich full of flavor; the sauces were so impressive. The chips that came with it were okay but a little stale and didn't really do anything (maybe offer small bags of chips instead of a handful of chips from a large bag?) I would HIGHLY recommend the Cuban Sandwich. The special was good as well; it consisted of pulled pork, rice, beans, and potatoes. Super filling and a lot of food. The pulled pork was really nice; not covered in sauce but seasoned really well. Moritas Cuban Café is worth a stop! Just make sure you have cash - it's cash only.

Justin M.

Yelp
WOW! This is an excellent roadside lunch spot. My 13yo daughter said "this is the best food I've ever eaten!" and I don't disagree with her. Super friendly staff, great food, affordable prices.
google avatar

Joshua M.

Yelp
Amazing food and people here! We had the breakfast tacos and breakfast burrito, both with chorizo. After several days of eating around Key West this was one of our favorite meals.

Barbara O.

Yelp
Morita's has the best Cuban sandwich in the Keys! The sandwiches are always fresh and generous enough to split.
google avatar

Howard S.

Yelp
Masks need to cover the nose. No gloves and direct food contact. The Cuban sandwich was slightly better than a Subway foot long. Comes with potato stix (yes, the junk food version). Nice people but they are not able to handle Covid or a lunch rush.
google avatar

Tracy W.

Yelp
We stopped here in the way into Key West and it was amazing. The cortadito was sooo good I had to come back on the way out and ended up with 3! The coffee was the best! The food was also excellent. Had the cheese tostada that was amazing, I had an egg and ham Cuban also very good. On our second visit we had the Cuban and it may have been the best I have had! The peeps here are super awesome and well worth the stop
google avatar

K R.

Yelp
Delicious food made simply. Cuban sandwich with a delicious cilantro sauce that was absolutely divine. No spice so that anyone can try it. There are are no restrooms. This is a take out place with picnic benches outside a patio door.

Maggie L.

Yelp
Stop!!! Don't hesitate trying this incredible food! It was so amazing! I am soooo glad we can in! They have a simple menu that is superb! Come hungry!
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
This place doesn't look like much but it houses the most delicious Cuban food ever. I had the quesadilla with pulled pork and my husband had the Cuban sandwich. Both items were absolute perfection. The staff is kind and friendly too!
google avatar

Bill D.

Yelp
5 star all the way. Great little cafe with an amazing family that works together to cook some delicious meals. Thank you all!

Luina R.

Yelp
Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly service! No tables inside, just picnic tables outside, so it was warm, but they do have a big fan that helped a lot. Great ambiance because other patrons waiting on their food were friendly and chatty. For a delicious, inexpensive and very casual meal , we strongly recommend it!

Penny F.

Yelp
We drove 30 minutes to get here only to find it closed. The sign on the door even said open until 3:30. We were there at 1:30 Very disappointing
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
Best Cuban mix I have ever had. Adding the chorizo and the special sauce kicked this Keys staple up many notches, imo.
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Family run food window with a surprisingly varied menu. Had the picadillo with beans and rice for lunch - one of the best picadillos I've ever had. Ate outside with the ancient chihuahua and giant friendly cat on a breezy Monday afternoon. Couldn't ve been better.
google avatar

Taylor W.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were headed to key west then stumbled upon this little Cuban cafe. We only got cafe con leche, but it was great! Staff was friendly, minimal wait, and had accessible cleaning products/sanitizer. The woman working the front counter visibly washed her hands and/or used sanitizer multiple times. All staff were in masks and had hats on!
google avatar

Gabriela K.

Yelp
I overheard someone else saying this was the best Cuban food in the area and of course I had to try it. We were not hungry, but running out of time in our vacation, so stoped by just to check it out and buy something. I have to start by saying this place is tiny and the sign outside is hard to see from the road if you are going at a decent speed. They have some seating outside under some shade, but inside is just the store front and kitchen. When we arrived it about 4 pm and they close at 5. I asked the lady working there what were the days specials and she pointed to the whiteboard. I ordered the chicken with white rice and black beans and casava or yuca. The food... was really tasty and delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice and beans were spot on and yuca was seared on the flat top with delicious mojo pork juices...Yummy! The portion was enormous, not sure if it was because they were about to close but two people could have easily shared. I wish we had time to go back and try the Cuban sandwich and ceviche, alas something we will have to do next time.

Yelp
Had my doubts as I pulled over to check this place out..... then I saw the 5 star reviews and lived it after I went in. Even more after I ate! Such a wonderful family run home in the wall. An absolute must if you're in the Keys!

Julie D.

Yelp
Great service! Excellent food. Always hot and fresh. Love her daily specials. Definitely worth stopping.

Wes H.

Yelp
Very friendly family operation with delicious food. We will return on our next visit for sure!!

Yelp
Morita's Cuban Café is open for business and serving the community today! We are also celebrating the fact they now take credit cards :-). The food is authentic and delicious and always fresh. Family is in town during the pandemic to enjoy your island hideaway and this was our first stop! Always a favorite.
