This place has a great atmosphere, from what I’ve noticed there’s always quite a few people studying or doing work with a coffee there. It’s a chill vibe with great food. A lot of healthy delicious options, and some sweet treats like the great chocolate cake. Wife liked the cinnamon honey latte, breakfast bowl was fantastic, breakfast burrito was really good and pancakes were great!

That was my first time at this location. My friend and I loved the other location in kakako and decided to try the Kailua location. Food was good. Coffee was ok. We got açaí bowl and smoked salmon toast

We visited Morning Brew Kailua for breakfast and tried the breakfast bagel and a bagel with dill cream cheese, both on an everything bagel. For drinks, we had an iced matcha latte and a warm Americano. The quality was decent, but overall, we felt the prices were a bit on the high side for what we received. It’s a nice spot, but it may not be the best value for breakfast.

Franchised, large, two-story open air building makes for a great place to work or hangout for long periods of time, especially up top by the big windows. Lots of vegan/veg options, though I prefer get my quality espresso drinks elsewhere. I’d recommend for standard cafe service & varieties of good vegetarian dishes 🤙🏼

I used to love their coffee and usually order either Cafe Americano or Caffe Latte because I want to enjoy the flavor of coffee. But Cafe Americano I ordered today has no aroma or strength. I asked the cashier if they could remake it. But she insisted I just had to add an extra shot although I explained that it tasted different today. I just took lukewarm regular coffee instead. I would not come again at least for a while.

Kona Coffee , wowza! I had vanilla ice coffee 2 pumps pf vanilla and oat milk. So good great little business very chill and refreshing!

I tried something new and ordered the sweet potato butternut hash and I loveeee it. I ordered pancakes with extra syrup and a side of bacon for my partner and they forgot the syrup and the side. To be fair, it was a pickup order and they seemed a little busy. There isn’t a way to request a refund when you order online though so just check your order before you leave. The pancakes are some of the best I’ve had though! I’m definitely bringing some friends back here. The restaurant is on the small side but it’s very charming and has an upstairs that is still small but gives a little distance from the crowd standing to order. I’d try a coffee or smoothie next time. I go to their location downtown and it’s pretty good too and also has an upstairs.

My friend and I ordered the breakfast burrito and the breakfast bagel sandwich with the veggie option (avocado, tomato, arugula). We chose the blueberry bagel. We intended to share both, but after we ate the delicious burrito, we were too full to eat the bagel. I enjoyed the reheated bagel as much as the burrito at the restaurant. The upstairs seating area is so cute. There is a view of the park across the street in the picture window. There are all the condiments as well as take out containers so there's no need to walk downstairs until you're ready to leave. I will definitely return to this restaurant!

My iced tea was good and the environment is great to work at, but I was disappointed by the state of the bathroom. To me, a gross bathroom is a reflection of the entire institution. It makes me wonder, how clean is the kitchen? Working at a coffee shop not only entails talking to customers and making coffee--it's cleaning the tables during a quiet moment, it's sweeping up, it's cleaning the bathroom and maintaining it until closing. I'm not trying to be mean, but I've seen this at a lot of coffee shops. Cleanliness over everything. With all of that said, I will give this place another chance and I hope to be able to provide a positive update.

Unfortunately our coffee wasn't good Inside is big and beautiful coffee shop I think next time I would definitely give there food / dessert menu a try Customer service wasn't great either I would definitely recommend the donut shop next door they are fluffy and melt on your mouth deliciousness

I've been going to morning brew for many years now. Both the Kailua and Kakaako locations have been pretty good, consistently. However, this morning was a letdown. I ordered the Havarti scramble which consists of Havarti cheese, a nice serving of spinach wrapped in an egg omelette. It comes with a side of sourdough toast. This morning, I got an egg omelette with ripped squares of cheese placed on top and about four leaves of spinach placed underneath it. It was very odd. It looked like they forgot to add the cheese and spinach and threw it on it last minute. Definitely not what they normally serve. It looked gross. I decided to take it back, knowing that this is not normal for them. I quickly got my same plate back with four more pieces of wilted spinach on top. Nothing different. Being that it's Christmas Eve, I am definitely not in the mood to go back-and-forth with management. I gave it two stars instead of one because I'm hoping that this was a glitch. Morning Brew, you've always done better than this.

Tried coconut Thai iced espresso. I couldn't taste any coconut. Staff were friendly. Cute place.

We got a honey lavender latte which was ok. Not my favorite coffee mix but not bad at all. The matcha was good better and not clumpy which I like and think is a great start. The service was nice as well which is always a plus.

I've come here a lot to order the same thing because their blended mocha is way better than Starbucks! However today I was very very disappointed Ordered a coconut mocha blended with an extra shot online and went in to pick up. The guy was very nice and friendly and handed me my drink very swiftly. I grabbed it and walked away. When I went to take a sip, I realized that 1. The cup was 3/4 full 2. It was NOT ice blended!! It was like drinking a melted one. 3. They added my extra shot, but it was not a coconut mocha Come on guys, do better!!

Swing by here for coffee and breakfast after hiking the Lanikai Pillbox. The Thai coconut iced coffee was good. A little sweet. Not the best Lox bagel I've had but wasn't bad. The breakfast bowl was huge and had good flavor. I liked the over medium egg too since I hate them over easy or Sunnyside. The sma outdoor seating area was perfect and it wasn't too busy. They bring the food out to you and they are dog friendly!

The reason I gave a two has nothing to do with the quality. The food is good. However, I had to wait well over 45 minutes for a wrap that was ordered "to go"....and then to see the size! Are you kidding?? Food shouldn't be available if there are not enough people to make it. The staff is friendly enough but no one is in a hurry. There were not many customers at the time I came in. However, others were asking about their orders as well. By the time I was leaving, there was a line almost out the door. I hope no one else is ordering food or they'll be there until they close! Sad! With the cost of everything rising, service is more important than ever!!!!

I met my husband here for another one of our spontaneous breakfast dates. The line to order was decent and it gave us time to view the breakfast menu, coffee, the 1st & 2nd floor seating, and the delicious looking desserts in the glass window that we needed to try. We ordered: Smoked Salmon on an Everything bagel (opened faced) Breakfast Bagel Thai Latte House Coffee Summerberry Stack Brownie We ended up getting our dessert and coffee first and let's just say that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the brownie and summerberry stack! It's not too sweet, not cakey or too fudgey just overall perfect in my opinion. I was a little disappointed in my Thai Latte. I should have scanned the pictures first instead of just ordering it. It was overall different than what I'm originally accustomed to and I didn't really like it. My smoked salmon bagel was really good though. I know in my picture that it looks very basic, but trust that every ingredient compliments each other. I also love that it was served opened-face, therefore having the option of eating it with a knife & fork without anything spilling out. I am definitely coming back!

Woowwwww the coconut Thai espresso is AMAZINGGGG!!! Service was friendly and fast. I also ordered the carrot cake. YUM! And the summerberry stack. Sooo good. First time here and I'd love to make it a part of my vacation routine

Stopped here on my bike after cycling over the mountain from Waikiki. The staff here were all very friendly. My vanilla latte was delicious, and the breakfast bagel was so yummy! There is nothing better than a coffee shop that ALSO has good food. Plenty of seating both inside and out, would definitely return here again!

Had breakfast here with a friend. She had the pest breakfast sandwich. She said it was really good. I had the lox and bagel and it was so good. They used dill cream cheese it was so delicious.

I've had better matcha. Would prefer Starbucks over this one... the powder kept separating

Delicious food with quality you can taste. A charming ambience and very friendly service with a smile, every time. This location has a slight edge over the kakaako location is that it ooens early, giving me a chance to eat a delicious breakfast before work. This is on my must go list every time I am in Oahu. You must go too!!

Great spot. I have schduled many meetings here. We hosted a monthly meeting for one of our business networking groups here. The owner is awesome and the workers are friendly!

This was our first visit to Morning Brew. We followed Google Maps, and it took us to the property across the street. I don't know if they moved or if the map was wrong. It was a Sunday morning around 8 am. It wasn't crowded at the time. It got busy after we got our breakfast. The place is clean, the service was OK. The food was OK. The coffee was good. I think the breakfast burrito was the best thing that was ordered. The Havarti scramble was just OK, as was the macadamia pancake.

A great venue to hold a private intimate party. Holds about 30 people comfortably. We catered food from Fat Boys that is located across the street. They have a big counter to put those big 8 trays of food. They also have a refrigerator to hold your cold drinks but we had a cooler that was a little more convenient. There even is space and electrical outlets for BKElive, our guitar musician we hired. Just call and speak to the manager there to arrange for times, availability and questions. On the evening, the staff was very helpful with the set up direction and best of all, they did most of the clean up! Easy and fulfilling evening.

I got the salmon bagel- much more bagel than salmon. I get it, prices have gone up but the price went up and the amount of salmon went down. I also got the German chocolate latte that didn't taste anything like the name.

Great atmosphere, and yummy pastries. I had the. Caramel apple bar and it was really good. I also had a caramel latte and it was perfect! The staff is friendly, and the space is really cute.

Great coffee shop in Kailua with parking! I remember when Morning Brew was a small, dark little coffee shop and came here in May and last week for the great coffee and food. The space is great, mostly people grabbing a bit to eat in the weekends or meeting with friend. I tried the lox and bagel last week, good sized portion and very filling. Only complaint is lack of seating as some people linger around (probably talking about myself here) but overall a great/ efficient coffee shop.

Food was very good but my favorite was the Chai Shake. Service was fast and prompt. Lines were a little long but worth the wait. Have to make sure to be viligiant for a table to open up as it is on a first come, first serve basis.

the barista that made my latte was extremely slow, there were no drinks to be made before mine and it took over 10 minutes. on top of that i watched him use the wrong milk for my latte. i asked politely if it was oat milk and he said "what did the ticket say" thankfully a nice girl was working and offered a remake. the remake latte was now the right drink but he burnt the milk (probably on purpose). don't get espresso drinks if the tall white male who wears a cap is on bar.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Morning Brew today. The Turkey Cheddar is an awesome sandwich. Not too heavy with amazing flavor! I Also enjoy the Chai here, I get mine dirty and it is always spot on. Ryan gave great service and today wasn't too crowded so I got to enjoy the WiFi and catch up on some work! Nice quiet day in here today!

It's not often that I get to stop at Morning Brew in Kailua. There are so many coffee shop and brunch places to choose from in the Kailua area, and they are all very good. So, my predicament is having to rotate through them all whenever I'm in the area. So, I finally got to stop in to Morning Brew Kailua this past Monday (5.08.23). They made a few changes since the last time I was in. The ordering, registers, and pastry case is moved to where the coffees used to be put out. I think that's a good change, being that there never really used to be much space to stand and wait for your order. Now though, it seems as if it works well with the changes. My favorite drink has always been the German Mocha! But I noticed they also made some changes to the menu as well, so this time, I tried the Coconut Thai Iced Espresso. Yuuum! Now I'm conflicted as to what to drink the next time Morning Brew is number one in my Kailua rotation. Regretfully, I wasn't able to eat this time around so it's been avwhile since I've tried any of their food, so I won't be reviewing that today. But, there coffee drinks are always great! The service is quick and friendly, which is always a plus! And there is always lots of parking in the parking lot during their business hours, except maybe during lunch hour because of all the eateries in the area. But it's pretty fast and convenient otherwise.

Very very very cute coffee shop!! Loved my chia seed bowl and coffee. The upstairs is super cute and a great place to just sit and chat. Downstairs had more people reading or working. There's plenty of parking and the inside is full of natural lighting and plants and decor! Overall, definitely a great coffee shop on island

The food was good. The burrito had eggs, greens, beans. The breakfast bowl was a ham fried rice with eggs. The place was very crowded for a week day. The coffee was very good and strong. The place has a cool vibe but is just overwhelmingly crowded. (Also means the place is good) our food took very long to come out and the girl who took our order noticed and came to check. The manager came out with our food as well as a gift card. We will be going again.

Please go back to real plates. New policy of boxes and bags for everything is ecologically unsound. You are also taxing my tip when i pay by cc.

I've always loved this long-time institution. Good food, good coffee, good service. It's usually not too hard to find a table for two for chatting with a friend over coffee.

Why do you charge excise tax on my credit card tip? Is this even legal? I don't see other businesses doing this. (This is in addition to the added 3% you charge me for using a credit card.) Thank you for offering real mugs.

The dining area is sooooo nice in here. When you walk in, it's super open and sooo much seating, they have an outside area with an inside area that has an upstairs! The pancakes were okay not my favorite, i wish I took a photo of the blondie because that was GREAT. I also got a vegan banana muffin thang which was also not my taste. But the kombucha was phenomenal. The service was also really great, food came out quick and the employees were kind.

Food is ONOlishioso however the sandwiches are tiny. The cashiers getting drinks and such move in slow motion lol. The salmon bagel is so good and so is their turkey sammy. Hip vibe with beautiful art.

I've been coming here for like 15 years and it's always been great! But the past couple months I've been really disappointed in the quality of their food. I like to have vegetables in the morning, I also like bacon and eggs like a regular person, so I always order the vegan rice bowl (rice, spinach, tomatoes, onions, salsa) and then I pay extra for bacon and an egg (which is totally fine! I'm happy to pay extra for good, nutritious food!). But this is the third time in a row that I've ordered this and had it come with no vegetables. Once I ordered by phone, once in person, and once online. It ends up being $15 for rice, beans, two strips of bacon, and an egg. No veggies? I'm so confused.

We love going to morning brew! Great breakfast, lunch, and drinks. Service is always great. It can get busy on weekends and mornings but it's usually easy to find parking in the lot. Great vibes inside too! B.L.A.T. and lox bagel are my favs!!

On our way to Lanikai, we stopped in for a couple sandwiches to go. Decided on the turkey panini's again but they were different this time... and so much better. They had really nice flavor to them with a mix of pesto and (I think) sun dried tomatoes. The only thing that would make them better and more "panini" like would be to grill the bread more to add that crunch. Fast service and no line this time. 4.25 stars.

Good coffee nothing special. Reasonable prices. Didn't order the food but overall looks great. Staff was easy and relaxed. The vibe was chill and what I expect from a coffee shop in Kailua. Might as well give it a try!

Great ambiance- loved the art along the wall, and how they had more seating upstairs. Service was friendly and fast. I tried their iced honey lavender latte and guava berry lemonade. Coffee was good, and lemonade was refreshing.

Charming coffee shop full of happy customers. Pleasant staff that brew an amazingly good cup of surfer blend coffee. The place has pleasant music at a moderate level for visiting or reading. It is no wonder that the certain NW chain coffee shop was nearly empty at the same time. Great job Morning Brew! I will be back the next time I am in Kailua!

Food I great there. I always get the chicken curry wrap and some of their sweets. You can't go wrong with what you order from there. Service always on point and it gets a little noisy and loud in there. So always good to grab and go unless you're eating there and have headphones on I think you'll be just fine.

Nice ambiance and friendly staff. First time going and had the matcha latte, matcha taste wasn't very prominent but it's not their specialty so I don't want to hold it against them. Will be back to try their food options which looked very tasty!

Stopped by Morning Brew twice on my trip to Oahu to pick up some coffee and breakfast before starting the day. There is plenty of parking and there is plenty of seating in the restaurant itself. I got a breakfast bagel and an iced latte to go. The iced latte was prepared pretty quickly, but the breakfast bagel took a long time. Not sure why it took so long as there weren't that many people waiting for food. Anyways, you can never go wrong with an iced latte; it was sweet and creamy. Definitely woke me up in the morning. The breakfast bagel was good, but something wasn't quite right. I wish the bagel was toasted and crispier. Everything in the bagel was delicious though. Can't go wrong with some breakfast here at the Morning Brew. They have a lot of options, so there must be something for everyone.

Great place in Kailua for fresh coffee and good food. Sometimes the line can get a bit long, but I think it's worth the wait.
