I used to live around here, and this was the closest coffee shop to my house. So, obviously, I had to try it a few times. Awesome people working there. Absolutely 100% good people. They were always super attentive and fast. I just wish the coffee was as excellent as the staff. I really thought maybe it was just the first time, but every time I got coffee here it was either sour or burnt tasting. Didn't matter if I got milk/oat milk, cappuccino/cortado/latte. Nothing seemed to change the taste of the espresso base. I don't know why, whether it was the beans or the pull they use, but it never seemed to change. It is good for a caffeine pick-me-up in the morning as long as I don't pay too much attention to the taste. I was also always kinda disappointed how fast they sold out of their breakfast, on those special "pop up"(?) days. Sometimes, I would go extra early and still never got to try one. Those were about the only times the staff were a little off. When I asked if they would be making more, one guy just shrugged at me and turned his back. Basically, "Too bad for you." Which I thought was rather dismissive. I get that it's probably quite annoying to have customer after customer complain that you are already out, but I mean, when you promote it so much and then order so little, and they're obviously so popular, I would think you just have to roll with the complaints a little better. Otherwise, it's very decent café and it's good to have it in the neighbourhood.

Follow @bredgyeats for yummy food pictures! Blueberry Muffin - A morning run isn't complete without a cafe stop. After all, I did work for it. the blueberry muffin was a fantastic treat, made with the right amount of sweetness and a soft, moist texture that is topped with pearl sugar for a crisp contrast in texture and a pop of tart sweetness from the blueberries.

I have been a regular client and have used their frequent client ‘get a free 10th drink’ stamp card, to the point I have almost filled both sides. Is a cute cafe with lovely vibe and intimate patio at the back. Generally the service has been good. I would rate the service higher if the cashier would hand or place back my stamp card instead of tossing it. Also, if the wifi signal at the patio was more stable it would allow to make more use of the patio.

Cute coffee shop in the East side serving Sam James coffee beans. Cute decor with white walls and murals on the wall. Service was friendly, and warm. Had a delicious large peanut butter cookie and latte.Latte was smooth and not too bitter. Perfect cup for a cold day. Overall: would return, nice service and ambiance Cost: $5ish

Google
Lovely spot with a nice back patio! Wasn’t busy at all when I came on a Saturday afternoon so there was tons of seating. My go to order at coffee shops is almost always a matcha latte, and the barista suggested their iced strawberry matcha (a seasonal drink) which I really enjoyed.

Google
Awesome addition to the neighborhood, great little sitting area outside as well as comfortable seating inside. Well designed and beautiful art everywhere. Very good espresso as well as very nice couple running the place. Tasty snack options available as well. Nice spot for our morning walk.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop at Gerrard and Woodbine. Very friendly staff with nice selection of coffee drinks. No problem making my Cappuccino decaf, which was very nice. Nice selection of things from local shops for sale in the front and overall nice vibes

Yelp
What a cute spot tucked away in the east end. I have been here a few times and always had a great experience. They really pay attention to cleanliness, coziness and COVID safety (hand sanitizer, masks at the door in case you forgot yours, distanced tables). The back patio is quiet and the cheerful colours and murals make me smile. The espresso based drinks are well done and they have an assortment of sweet and savoury foods, including sandwiches if you want something more substantial (however, I don't think they get that many per day, if you come after the lunch rush, they are sometimes sold out). They are also dog friendly i.e. provide treats for dogs, a water bowl by the front door and a spot where your dog can wait for you while you pop in for take out.

Yelp
Morning Parade Coffee Bar is located in the east end of the city near Gerrard and Woodbine. The cafe is locally owned by a couple (where they quit their day jobs and decided to pursue their dreams of opening up a cafe) and offers caffeinated beverages, pastries, and even uniquely crafted sandwiches. They use Sam James coffee beans and have Sloane teas as well. The interior of the coffee shop is warm and inviting which allows customers to stay as long as they please talking or working (there is wifi!). I recently dropped by Morning Parade Coffee Bar for a Yelp event recently. Other Yelpers and I were able to try a variety of scones, pastries, freshly made sandwiches (the piri piri chicken, tofu banh mi, and the breakfast sandwich are all must gets!) while mingling with the owners. Food, especially the sandwiches, were delicious (as everything is also local as well)! A definite neighbourhood gem and not to be missed if you are around the area. Great coffee/food as well as welcoming vibes. Would definitely come back if I am ever around the area.

Yelp
This has rapidly become my go-to place for coffee in the East end! The coffee is great and the baristas are super friendly. There is a local neighborhood feel to the place which is awesome. I almost always get a scone so I don't know about the other snacks, but they are great. Love the apple cinnamon one, and they have different sweet or savoury options daily. Coffee options are all solid. There is an outdoor patio in the back which is lovely. There is well-spaced out seating, art, and a garden. Indoor seating is closed for now. Definitely recommend a visit here for your next coffee run!

Yelp
This is a lovely coffee shop that is 100% neat, decent and what not! Not just the interiors but also the customer service and food or drinks is on point. I went here for a yelp event, i would have gone there anyways as another friend recommended me. The owners are from the same neighbourhood and really know what they are doing - i also think they chose a great location. I am yet to try the actual coffee drinks but i got to try Jeff's sandwiches that he usually makes for Morning parade, you won't believe that vegan sandwiches could taste that good. Also the raspberry croissants- mind blowing, i am definitely going back to eat it again. Overall it was an amazing experience i had with the store and definitely making it to the shop whenever i am in the neighbourhood

Mmmmm delish drinks and delectable sandwiches. Only wished it were closer to me. But i just know that it will thrive as a neighbourhood staple. Will definitely visit again in the summer :) enjoy a latte and a bahn mi :)

Yelp
It was a nice coffee shop. Coffee was good and baked goods are okay. It is convenient to grab a cup of coffee in the morning if you are a morning coffee drinker.

Yelp
I've wanted to come here for a very long time and now they are open Sundays! I came in on a snowy Sunday and we were greeted very warmly upon entering. The café has high ceilings which gives a very spacious appearance. The walls are adorned with art and murals. Seats around 15 with plenty of room to spare. Great for parents - Lots of room for children to run around. There are high chairs, children's books and toys. For working there are large desks, electrical power outlets and Wifi. The WiFi tested at 120/26. So it's also a good place to work. The kid ordered a hot chocolate and I ordered the double espresso. We also got a Cinnamon croissant and a granola berry muffin. Overall, it's a great café for whatever your needs. I definitely recommend and will be adding to my collections.

Yelp
Morning Parade Coffee is a new Coffee joint in Toronto's East End by Woodbine and Gerrard. There's a nice selection of drinks, pastries and sandwiches. If you're a vegan, they have an amazing tofu banh mi sandwich, and if not, there's an amazing chicken sandwich among other meaty options. The atmosphere is really cozy and cute, and the owners and staff are extremely hospitable making sure we were well taken care of.

Yelp
A very lovely coffee shop. It's a family owned cafe who serves delicious pastries and various drinks. All the pastries are from the local neighborhood. However, this place is perfect for lunch. They have a chef that specializes in delicious sandwiches! My favorite is the tofu sandwich. Perfect texture and lots of flavor. Drink wise, I had their ice tea because it was a little too late to try their coffee. However, I will be back for a coffee date with my friends. The owners are extremely friendly and they will tailor your drinks to your liking making sure you are welcomed and comfortable.

Yelp
Stopped by for some popsicles - I know that's weird, but I saw on Instagram that they have stuffed popsicles (coffee flavoured with a salted caramel inside) and I had to try. Place is really cute inside, the two owners are super friendly and warm to everyone. I got the PB&J popsicle and the coffee caramel one - sadly the PB&J one didn't have anything inside (I thought it would have a jam like middle) so it was really just PB. The coffee one was much much better! HOWEVER! It melts very fast so grab some napkins and get ready to feast! This place is no where near me but if I lived in the hood, I'd certainly be back!

Yelp
Fantastic coffee bar located Gerrard and Woodbine. The shop is clean and staff is super friendly. If you get a chance, have a coffee, grab a bite and enjoyed the ambience. Especially, the shop is not too far away from the beach; you can pick up a coffee and and walk down to the beach. If you drive, that's even better, the surrounding area has free parkings and just few minutes drive to the Woodbine beach. I was lucky to get to know a little about Morning Parade from the owner Elektra; and I recommend for those who live close to the area to check it out and hopefully it can become your local staple coffee shop. I enjoyed my time there and you will too! PS. I have already recommended a friend that lives close to there to give a try!

Yelp
Come for the great coffee (sam james), broccoli scones (weirdly delicious) and cute wall murals (are they watching me?)... stay for the free wifi, friendly owners, chill playlist (leon bridges, CDW) and a safe space to dip your toe in the trendy oat milk scene (surprisingly creamy).

Yelp
New and clean. Serving Sam James coffee (yes!) with carefully weighed/measured grinds. Sunny bright clean spot with limited seating. Not much flour/gluten free baked goods beyond a peanut butter cookie but they only have been open a week. A nice addition to the 'hood.

Yelp
Love this cute cafe. Great decor, really lovely staff, super fast service, and the cappuccino is consistently fantastic. Their baked goods are really yummy too, as well as their breakfast sandwich. Love that they carry Demello Coffee and will grind it for you.

Yelp
Lovely space run by lovely people. Small little section of books and toys for the kids, which is always a plus for the parents. This might seem random, but their strawberry popsicle is to die for.
