Moroccan Food Adventures

I went on an evening food tour in Marrakech flying solo. I was joined by two other couples and a family of three and nabbed the last spot. Eight was a good number! Entertaining but we all got the good of the tour guide. We met in front of the post office and headed off for three and a half hours. The food was a brilliant selection - lamb, doughnuts, olives, snails, cous cous, tea, bakery stop for savoury and sweet pastries and rounded off on a rooftop with a refreshing smoothie and biscuits. There was plenty of food to go round and no pressure if some of it wasn’t for you (snails weren’t for me but the others in the group happily ate my share!). Our tour guide was well prepared with wipes, tissues and sanitiser which was a helpful touch. He was super friendly and willing to answer all our questions from food to politics/royal family, what to see in the area, where to eat etc. Came back with a great list for the rest of the week. He knew so many people in the souks and was clearly well regarded. We were treated brilliantly wherever we went. For 3.5 hours of food, advice and guiding, the ticket is well worth it. Highly recommend.

I recently went on the street food tour in Marrakech and it was an amazing experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting facts about both the food and the history of the city and the Medina. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great mix of street snacks — there was so much to try, I definitely didn’t leave hungry! The group size was perfect, small enough to be personable yet big enough to feel lively, and it made navigating the busy Medina much easier. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech — it’s a fantastic way to experience the city and get a real taste of its culture!

My husband and I went on an evening food tour and it was amazing. We were the only ones on the tour, which was a nice bonus, and our guide was so personable and knowledgeable. We learned about the local culture and had incredible food along the way. We especially loved going into tiny restaurants you would never go to on your own. Such a memorable evening, I highly recommend.

My friend and I did the Marrakesh food tour and we loved it! We tried a variety of different dishes and also enjoyed the walking portion. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. It's a must for every foodie.

We had such a great experience on our artisan tour with Hassan. The food prepared with Fatima was the best we had while in Morocco. Our children loved painting, making mosaics and leather bags and the artisans were truly skilled. We felt welcomed wherever we went. We highly recommend!

This was a highlight of my Morocco trip. I did this at the end and was worried I had tried all the foods already but this is not at all what happened. Everything I tried on this food tour was new food! It was all so delicious and our guide was amazing. He had so much knowledge of food but also of culture and other random city facts! Our guide even did a random, off the tour stop, for us when one of the tour people wanted to try the snails! He jumped right over and got us some snails to try! Truly an unforgettable experience!
