Moroccan Soup Bar

Was given a lovely banquet for 7 people of various dishes, from dips to salads to curries to desserts in the end. Food was absolutely delicious and the lady serving was really friendly — she even asked if we would like a banquet of 6 since she knew we might be so full from tonight!

Absolutely incredible food - one of the best Moroccan dining experiences. Everything was delicious but that chickpea bake was phenomenal. Towards the end I was full - my mouth wanted more but my stomach said no. It was a very hot day so a bit uncomfortable; not the fault of the restaurant just how it felt that day.

This place was absolutely amazing! As a meat lover, the vegetarian meals were a complete hit! Such a good mix of plates and so much food for the price. Would definitely recommend coming, especially if you are vegetarian

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Firstly, the food is incredible, I was so busy stuffing my face I didn't get enough photos, they do not do it justice at all. But secondly these are the most beautiful humans. I am currently in hospital and my husband went to get food from here for us to have something different. The beautiful woman at the counter checked my dietaries with me over the phone and then proceeded to put the most delicious feast together AND WOULDNT LET MY HUSBAND PAY. I cannot handle how absolutely grateful we were. These humans are incredible. Needless to say we'll spend a fortune here another time!

Loved dinner at Moroccan Soup Bar! The banquet was full of flavour, fresh, and so comforting. The chickpea bake was a standout! Warm vibes, lovely staff, and a perfect spot for a wholesome vegetarian meal. Will definitely be back!

📍Moroccan Soup Bar, North Melbourne - 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5. Don’t be fooled, Moroccan Soup Bar serves many many dishes (not just soup). In saying that, they do serve Harira, a beautiful North African soup. Harira is one of the best dishes I had in Morocco and it was delicious here!! You can get items on the menu takeaway here (would highly recommend the chickpea bake, so crispy and delicious and from only $12), but when you dine in it works as a banquet menu for $48 pp. You get 3 courses with MANY dishes each course, to the point that all 4 of us got a container stacked full of food to have for lunch the next day. Would highlyyyyyyyy recommend coming here for some beautiful Moroccan food! Overall 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5.

We ordered the $45 banquet and everything was delicious and full of flavour. Our favourites were the capsicum and walnut dip, eggplant rice dish and chickpea bake. Next time we’ll bring our own containers but we walked away with enough leftovers for lunch for both of us the next day. The restaurant itself has a really cute, low key vibe and the service was great. We’ll be back again for sure.

There were concerns that this place isn’t too suitable for solo dining bc they feed you so much, but absolutely doable if you’re rather gluttonous like me. Getting my money’s worth as well!
