The hotel was old and tired and looked nothing like the pictures online. The service was bad, the staff all appeared to hate to be there. Privacy was none - Housekeeping staff knocked once and rushed into our room. There was a popular nightclub on site, huge noise level with people screaming throughout the evenings. The ski room downstairs was like a closet with barely any space for skis. At this price level, you can find better options. ||||In the pictures - bathroom shots - motel style, view from room, old school and rundown property.

I was in town for Davos and I can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff, in particular, Marina, who worked at the main restaurant showed me and my dear friend. She made our trip special and especially during such a chaotic week!

The aging hotel is located on Davos Platz and near the Jakobshorn cable car. Perfect for enterprising guests as there are restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby. In front of the hotel, there is a sporting goods store where you can rent winter sports equipment. The very good breakfast offered continental breakfast such as pastries, yogurt, different kinds of meat, and cheese and you could order eggs and bacon. The room is very spacious and has a balcony but the beds are small and hard. The bathroom is well equipped. The hotel has a good wellness center and a large indoor pool. For the fitness center, you have to go to the hotel next door.

This Hotel was our base and refuge for a couple of days working at altitude on the Jakobshorn. When you are working in the mountains, being able to warm up and unwind is essential, and the Posthotel hits all the right notes. The entrance is welcoming and friendly, the bar is well stacked, and the rooms are comfortable, practical and well decorated. Downstairs in a curious labyrinth of corridors, is the pool and sauna with are always a top feature in these small hotels. Even the restaurant had a good menu, and quick efficient staff. Can't fault it !

The location is great: only a short walk to the slopes and on the busy main street with plenty of shops, restaurants etc! If you like clubbing you got the nightclub downstairs as well. ||The room we were in was a lil outdated but that was ok. We had two bathrooms, one with a shower the other one with a bathtub. |We really liked the nightly sweets on our beds that awaited us when we came back to our rooms in the evening, nice gesture!||The goal must be to have returning guests though and unfortunately after our stay I’m not keen on staying at this hotel again. ||1. We travelled with our dog and kid. We payed 20chf/day for our dog; no dog bowl, no dog blanket nothing. Now that would be a point to make a difference (what does it cost to buy 10 dog bowls or dog blankets? The hotel can use those for years but would make the dogs feel welcome too!) ||2. Our kid got sick one night. I had to change the blankets at 3am took towels and made his bed with towels instead of sheets cause obvi that’s what you do if you have no sheets. The blanket had to go too. We thought it was obvious and they would make the bed the next day. To our surprise the staff didn’t put new sheets on nor bring a new blanket... we got home at 11pm so nobody was available anymore to bring a blanket or new sheets and our son had to sleep on towels again with towels as a blanket too. Totally doable but not expecting this at the prize we payed to stay there. ||3. Breakfast ended at 10:30am every day...at exactly 10:30 they started putting stuff away. This one time there was only 1 kind of bread left at 10am!!!!! I asked for different bread but got told that this is the only bread they have left... everything else was gone... hmm... not exactly what I expect from a 4* Hotel neither. ||4. We asked for a calm room (knowing the club is downstairs) so we were in the back of the hotel. Room was quiet but the baby bet wasn’t put up (we mentioned the kid in the booking!) so I called if they could bring it upstairs. |We were gone for 3-4h and the baby bed was in front of our room...folded and sheets next to it. Had to do it all ourselves, which once again is doable but not expected if you stay in a 4* hotel especially if I have to put all the sheets in myself as well. |||Like I said: location is great but you d need to go the extra mile to be better than the rest. |||

We stayed at the Morosani Posthotel during the Spenglercup and over New Years Eve. ||The decoration of the hotel is very nice and all the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. ||||We stayed with our 4 months old son who not only got his own set of towels but also always was thought- of during turn-down service. ||||The Hotel is greatly located in the middle of Davos Platz, only minutes away from the slopes and lots of restaurants. ||||Only thing that was a bit annoying was the noise from the drunk people outside until late at night. We assumed they were guests at the in-house Pöstli Club. But us being there during the Spenglercup and NYE we knew this was to be expected. The prices during that time were certainly hefty. ||||All together we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

The reception was friendly and efficient. The location is fantastic; right at the main street and there are lots shops and restaurants. Close to the train station Davos Platz - 10min by foot . The junior suite is very old fashioned but big enough. It has a fireplace, a small terrace and a coffee corner with a nescafe machine. The terrace is great where one can enjoy the sun with a cup of coffee or tea. The bathroom has a separate shower and a bathtub which is great. Nevertheless, they have electrical issue: whenever we used the hairdryer there was a black out! The room service needs some improvement: coffee / tea set didn't get filled up, only one pair of slippers was in the wardrobe. The room decorations must be modernized a bit. The color of the curtains and carpet don't match at all.
