Morosani Posthotel

The rooms are very large, and I know there is a nice spa and pool area that I didn’t visit. I really liked the bar area, and the steakhouse, the breakfast was excellent and overall a very good deal for the price. But the best part of my stay was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff!

The furnishings of the hotel (Haus Poschiavo) are reminiscent of a cheap 1-room apartment without a kitchen. The heating can either be turned off (room is freezing cold) or adjusted (room is glowing warm). Only one person can stay in the bathroom of the double room. It only has a sink and a cheap-looking toilet. You can only shower in a very narrow bathtub. The elevator looks pathetic. And that for 375 CHF per day. Several fire alarms should perhaps be mentioned, including 2 at midnight.

Sweet, quaint hotel. Good hotel for ski breaks. Close to the ski runs and shops. Adequate bathwash/shampoo bottles fixed to the walls. A bit tricky to squeeze the tubes without using two hands. Good water pressure. TV and minibar fridge in the room. Although, it turned out colder outside on the balcony. Plenty of wardrobe space. Thin pillows. The bedding was fine. The beds are all single and pushed together for doubles. No kettle/tea/coffee in the rooms. Have dressing gowns/slippers and shower caps. Warm enough. Staff were very accommodating. Free transfer before midnight from the station. However, is only 5mins from the station. Runs and gondola also 5mins away. Food was fine.

Very nice place and the food was amazing. Especially the service was super nice while people so polite and helpful. Dimitris served us during the night and we had great experience and friendly atmosphere!

The hotel was old and tired and looked nothing like the pictures online. The service was bad, the staff all appeared to hate to be there. Privacy was none - Housekeeping staff knocked once and rushed into our room. There was a popular nightclub on site, huge noise level with people screaming throughout the evenings. The ski room downstairs was like a closet with barely any space for skis. The aging hotel is located on Davos Platz and near the Jakobshorn cable car. Perfect for enterprising guests as there are restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby. In front of the hotel, there is a sporting goods store where you can rent winter sports equipment. The very good breakfast offered continental breakfast such as pastries, yogurt, different kinds of meat, and cheese and you could order eggs and bacon. The room is very spacious and has a balcony but the beds are small and hard. The bathroom is well equipped. The hotel has a good wellness center and a large indoor pool. For the fitness center, you have to go to the hotel next door.

I was in town for Davos and I can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff, in particular, Marina, who worked at the main restaurant showed me and my dear friend. She made our trip special and especially during such a chaotic week!

This Hotel was our base and refuge for a couple of days working at altitude on the Jakobshorn. When you are working in the mountains, being able to warm up and unwind is essential, and the Posthotel hits all the right notes. The entrance is welcoming and friendly, the bar is well stacked, and the rooms are comfortable, practical and well decorated. Downstairs in a curious labyrinth of corridors, is the pool and sauna with are always a top feature in these small hotels. Even the restaurant had a good menu, and quick efficient staff. Can't fault it !
