The hotel (and conference centre) is very well run. Staff are very professional. Breakfast was at a „quite good for four star“ quality (standard for that hotel level, but by no means exceptional).|The furnishings in the hallway were a bit worn and musty. The fitness centre was quite good. |My room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom in perfect condition - all the fittings worked great and there was no mould, a sign it is looked after well.||There was no airconditioning (which was a problem in the summer) and this would not have been an issue really, but with the window open at night fumes from some generator or something (not sure what, but it smelt like having a cars exhaust pipe in my room) came in through the window. ||Overall: if I were to come to Davos privately, I would try to find a different place. But it was ok for a work trip alone.

Wonderful and cozy room with magnificent mountain- and valley view. I also appreciated the generous breakfast. Good overall service.

Stayed in their 30m² suite for 220franks a night for 7 days, wanted to leave but they would not refund. Mediocre Hotel with stuck-up managers... This is the first time I wished to stay at an AirBnb or a Best Western, and I would if they would return the money at least partially. I have no idea how it got 4 stars rating. In reality, it is maybe two. They refuse to turn on the sauna at 0730, so it is at least warm at 0800. Although the first time, they agreed but did not follow through. The first two days of my stay, I requested three times to turn on a sauna. Afterward, I just accepted reality that it was functional past 11 am although it opens at 8am and should the actual sauna starta functioning at 1pm as per their 'procedure' Interestingly enough, at 0750pm sharp, they appear and kick you out. The shower room smells musty, with black mold spores on the ceiling and the ice machine is always off. Apparently, this is because they worry about "conserving energy." In reality, they are lowering costs. This also applies to the refrigerator in the room... you have to special request for them to turn it on. Furthermore, they do not provide toothbrush or cotton discs or ear swabs. All you get is cheap, low quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion, nail file, a shower cap, and a sewing kit. Room walls are very poorly noise isolated, and you can hear the neighbors during all of their activities. Furthermore, the sheets had tiny holes in them, and it was not a one time occurence. On the bright side, there were no visible stains, only holes. Breakfast is depressing with a choice of an egg scramble from a casserole dish, which runs out in the first 15 minutes of service literally 0715 and takes a while to get refilled. The other choice of eggs is boiled, and that is it. No omellete,no egg whites,no sunny side up no crepes no waffles nothing just some fruit and yogurt with old depressed salmon sometimes. The selection is very limited but whats worse is the bread is stale and you have to cut it yourself...they just put it out on a board with a knife and let you take care of it however you want. First day coffee was good, but it got progressively worse as the man that made it got switched to cleaning tables, and the manager overtook. Last but not least, the waiters command you where you can and where you can not sit even when the service is at half occupancy. The waiter will go out of their way to make you get up and sit somewhere else after you start eating and will not clear the table while you are having breakfast so everything just piles up. Regarding bicycles...they charge 50franks for 8 hours and if you wish to bike from 3pm to 7pm and reserve the bike for next day morning 7am-11am they insist it is not possible and you have to start the process from 0 at 7am with filling out the forms and attaching bike lights and so on even though I asked them to keel the lock key as a guaranteed that I will not ride it at night because according to them "it is illegal" Furthermore, bikes have no insurance, and if you pop a tire, it is up to you to fix it. Regarding BAR... there is no draft beer, and no one was ever present there, seemed almost like a self-serve station. Overall not a pleasant stay, not a restful or enjoyable experience and just a weird hotel with weird staff who never smile back at you and instead roll their eyes along with stuck up outdated managers asking you place requests , luckily not email format. Also outdated elevator which has no floor programming and fits only three people. The hotel seems like a perfect set for filming horror film. They cater to huge bus tourist groups, which overrun breakfast and stay for one day and carry their own beer crates with them while charging others 200franks per room. Leaving half star because the toilet paper they provide is 3ply and another half star for free welcome drink. Otherwise, I would mention this hotel does not deserve any stars. Their response to this review will be argumentative instead of apologetic and accepting... They do not take criticism.

First impression the hotel looked great, the room was spacious and the balcony was as big as the room! Then my allergies were triggered when I walk into the room. I’ve been sneezing and had itchy eyes. My asthma got worse and I had to go to the hospital. The room looked clean but there’s definitely something causing my allergies in this room. Then in the last day we found out the room had white hairs that looked like dogs hair that kept getting on our clothes. When we asked the receptionist she said , that dogs are allowed in the hotel and that we should’ve told them to clean more throughly if we had allergy! I don’t think that I should have an allergic reaction for the room to be cleaned properly! It should be cleaned properly period even if I wasn’t allergic!||The perks of the hotel is it had a great location for skiing. Ski rental store at the hotel close to ski lifts and bus and supermarkets.

A great experience. I will definitely visit again as soon as I can. ||The hotel is on the main street of Davos. |The building is kind of historical and has a lot of fashion. Parking available for guests.|The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very generous and various. Good of any preference. Rooms are spacious enough and clean.||THANK YOU FAMILY MOROSANI

Items/travel hacks used to make it work at Morosani 51 hotel during WEF week:||My bill was 3,400 Swiss Francs for 5 nights --at least breakfast with some lukewarm scrambled eggs and dried out bacon was included. Stick to rolls and cold items||Dual voltage immersion heater to make tea (no coffee machine or kettle in the room)||Bagful of converter plugs-Europe round to Swiss, UK 3-prong to Swiss||Amazon bubble pack mailing bags for wine and food placed on balcony (no mini-fridge). Bought groceries at the Coop down the street and put the bag out on balcony. Brought it in for 20 minutes 2x daily to prevent freezing.||Shampoo and conditioner-a must if you will run into anyone you know. Bonus: this was the first shower-only bathroom hotel room I have stayed in that came with a shower cap.||Plastic plates and a travel knife to cut up bread, cheese, sandwiches.||Wine bottle stopper||Earplugs-every move can be heard in hallways thanks to slate floors/echo chamber and paper bag-thin walls. Others have said it-could have left my door open and it was no different. The window had to stay open to combat the sauna--like heat so the snowplows scraping the roads at 4:40am was a real treat.||Door stopper to keep balcony door open in 15 degree weather to counter in-room heat without a thermostat ||Summer sleeping items-a sauna in the room even w door and window open.||Wish I had brought: Swiss Franc coins to use the coffee machine in the non existant lobby. Do not be deveived by the hotel photo taken w a wide angle lens.||Elevator: it works some of the time. After 2 calls to the front desk I was told to jump up and down to activate it.||Front entry door -no instructions on how to get out-please add a sign “turn knob to the left”||Hallways-pitch black at night. Look for old fashioned yellow-glow switches to turn on hall lights. Geez-how about upgrading to motion sensor lights?||Your room # does not necessarily correspond to the floor #. My room 434 was on the 3rd floor-really fun with jetlag!
