Morris Inn

My grandmother and I were in town for the afternoon to tour campus for the first time when one of the front wheels of her wheelchair unexpectedly cracked in half while walking around. We managed to get to the Morris Inn on three wheels, where we were immediately greeted by Donna and two other ambassadors at the front desk outside, where they were not only able to quickly provide a better functioning wheelchair, but also store the broken one until our departure and Milo from the Maintenance Team taking a measurement of the broken one to provide for a future repair when we returned home. Although we were not guests staying at the hotel, we were certainly welcomed with open arms as guests on campus for the day, so I hope the Morris Inn is proud of the spectacular crew of folks they have as representatives of the being the a force for good even within the boundaries of Notre Dame's campus.

This hotel is spectacular and very well located if you are visiting the University of Notre Dame. Staff are very friendly and resourceful to answer questions. The rooms are very well decorated, clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Temperature inside the room is easy to control and the AC is not noisy. I enjoyed the amenities, particularly the bathrobe, it was soft to touch and warm, ideal for using after a warm shower before bed. The bathrooms are spacious and the shower not spill water while using. Theres a hair dryer in the bathroom, which I didn’t use so I cannot rate its quality, but the beauty mirror was handy! There are plugs to connect electronic devices in easy to reach places and WiFi is fast. I also loved that there is a Notre Dame magazine in the room to learn about the culture and news of the university. Outdoor areas are comfortable and I liked that many students are studying in the common areas or having friendly social activities. I did not see any person smoking in outdoor areas, which I totally appreciate. The rooms are a bit pricey respect to more affordable options in the area, but it is absolutely worthy. Highly recommended.

The Morris Inn was absolutely spectacular!!!! The employees were all so kind and helpful during my visit. The room was very well maintained and clean! I will recommend this to anyone that will be visiting Notre Dame as a place to stay!

Everyone was amazing! All staff, from the front desk, wait staff at Rohr’s and J Cafe and room staff were great. The one girl that waited on me at J Cafe personally fixed me 2 Cinnamon Roll lattes that were amazing also.

Such a great hotel! We were here for an event and it was 100 degrees every day. While there is no pool, early morning walls were nice on this salkable campus! The staff was so warm, welcoming and dog friendly!

The staff was excellent! We were there for my son’s wedding weekend with lots of friends and family. Everyone agreed the hotel was awesome…the accommodations were lovely. The staff definitely made our staff more pleasant.

Beautiful and clean hotel room; very expansive lobby area allowed for visiting and informal meetings; amazing food and service at Rohr’s; outdoor patio was a nice treat at the end of the day; and an incredible location on Notre Dame campus. The Morris Inn is a must for anyone able to stay!

Everything was perfect, the room, the hotel, the grounds, everything. We wanted to reheat some leftovers from a local restaurant and a small microwave was delivered to our room in minutes! That is excellent service! If only more hotels could follow Morris Inn's example!
