Loved staying here. Lovely grounds. Lovely little shop at the front with welcoming staff. We stayed 3 nights in a motorhome. Facilities were always very clean. Just a short stroll to the closest bus stop into Edinburgh. Will definitely come back again.

Nice site but few level spaces for campervans/motorhones. The stables bar /restaurant is busy so book ahead even if reception say no need. Hand dryer not working for 3 days in ladies and water wasn’t hot so site facilities could do with being checked more regularly but great location for exploring Edinburgh

One of the nicest sites we have camped at. Great pitch size. A busy site, but didn't feel too crowded. The toilet and shower facilities were fantastic and extremely clean. Great showers. Cubicles had plenty of hooks for our clothes/towel/bag etc. Nothing got wet. Plenty of hand basins, with light up mirrors, and single Cubicles as well. Well stocked shop with reasonable prices. We were 2 adults camping so didn't use the playground or games room, but both looked great. The staff were pleasant, polite and friendly. Excellent location for Edinburgh city centre. Bus stop just outside drive entrance, with regular buses. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Really good campsite. Reception staff are very friendly and there is coffee/tea machines just in the door. The pitches are well maintained and the electrical hookups are never far from the pitches. I was closest to the older facilities block, and while a little run down, were still generally clean and pleasant to use. The campsite restaurant is also very nice. The prices are of course more expensive than a lot of other campsites, but it is the cheapest I could find around Edinburgh, and is of course massively cheaper than any hotels near the city. Recommended all around.

Campsite was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful. We were staying in a holiday home for a wedding, The home was a little Bijou but extremely well kitted out.... If you were self catering you would have no difficulty cooking a Full Sunday Roast.... Also had full central heating, iron and board, hairdryer and all towels and linens.... in excellent shape (almost new). Will be returning to stay again...

Mortonhall campsite was our first site of journey towards exploring Scotland. We have been treated nicely at the reception and We have had some exchange of sweet word with him and he gave us book of NC500 in return of indian savoury snack. We might come back to return that book to the fella. Highly recommend for everyone who wants to explore edinburgh and don’t want to stay in hotels and spend horrible prices for hotels. Much affordable, different experience, quiet place . Thanks for the service

Some of the best facilities of any campsite. We stayed for a long weekend recently and were over the moon with the facilities. The reception and shop are spotless with lots of food and camping essentials available. Next door is a pool room with a couple of tables and then a mini arcade. All very well presented. The toilet and shower block was absolutely fantastic. Perfectly clean, very modern obviously well looked after. Attached to this is a room for campers with tables, chairs kettle toaster etc which is very thoughtful and a great addition. The bar and restaurant are lovely with a nice atmosphere and in a lovely large old stables with outside seating in the courtyard. Buse stop is handy over the road with buses every 15 minutes into the city centre for just £2.20.

Camped for 2 nights on a grass electric pitch whilst in Edinburgh for Oasis. The site was brilliant, we could not fault anything. Lovely surroundings, well laid out, very spacious plot, extremely quiet. Just a short stroll to the clean and modern showers and toilets which looks like a recent addition plus there was a spacious and very handy kitchen area to wash up/make a brew. Great pub/restaurant on site. Nearby garden centre too. Easy to get taxis into Edinburgh or there is a bus stop about 10 minutes walk. Will definitely re-visit as lots to see and do in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.
