I tried Gyukatsu, mazemen, and truffle fries, and they were so good. The Gyukatsu is NEW menu!! It was really special because I could cook the katsu myself on a small grill! It was juicy inside and crispy outside! Super good you should try it🥹 The mazemen was super tasty, and when I mixed rice in at the end, it was gone in seconds. The truffle fries had such a nice smell and flavor, and they went perfectly with a pint of Sapporo. I loved all three so much that I already want to go back😋🍟🍜🥩

Absolutely amazing Katsu and service at Moru. Tried the gyukatsu and matcha tiramisu which they hand make here, this was like having a little slice of Japan in Toronto. Great date night spot and perfect for 1-4 people. Absolutely will be back soon!!

It was the first time to visit Moru! Overall, pretty much everything was good. We got Tokusei Rosu Katsu & Hire Katsu and added extra cheese katsu with ebi. I would say the Rosu Katsu one was the best meal on the menu, and ebi was a little bit of disappointed that batter was too thick. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal, and will definitely come more often!

Was visiting my mom and came here for lunch today, as we were both craving Katsu. Place was super clean, staff were very friendly and nice. We got the Katsu Don and a strawberry matcha drink. My mom really loved the salad and pickled veggies, and they even gave her an extra serving of them. Katsu was nice and thicc 😅, breading was light and crispy, the omlet/scrambled egg on the rice was a super yummy touch I haven't had before with katsu. The matcha drink was super yummy and refreshing. 10/10 will be back!

Amazing Japanese fried cutlet restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we're able to answer all my food allergy questions promptly. The food was delicious, generously proportioned, and well priced. I think most dinner sets were around $23. The ambiance was modern and not too loud. Great for a date! I also highly recommend the potato salad.

It’s my third visit to this place. They’ve introduced a new summer menu called the Lime Cold Udon. The refreshing cold noodles were a perfect choice for the hot and humid weather today. Seriously, cold noodles were exactly what I needed for this crazy hot and humid day. Plus, the place is always super clean, the staff are chill, and the food? Always bomb!

Just had a great tonkatsu experience! The pork was tender, the breading was crunchy, and the flavors were spot on. Served with fresh cabbage and steaming hot rice, it was a satisfying meal.

Simply, Moru Katsu has the best katsu in Toronto and is a fantastic new addition to the Yonge and Eglinton restaurant scene. We had the Zenbu (cheese, shrimp, vegetables, and 2 pork katsu for $39) and Tori (2 chicken breast katsu for $23) with a pitcher of Sapporo. The portions were perfect for two. Every katsu set comes with rice, miso soup, and cabbage salad. Everything was amazing bar the rice. The Tori was cooked to perfection, undoubtedly my personal favourite. The interpretation of miso soup was certainly original but delectable. Moru Katsu will undoubtedly secure a place on our Asian restaurant top 10 list in Toronto.

Yelp
Moru serves high quality, tasty and fresh Katsu dishes that's a great representation of Japanese cuisine and culture. Their Grand Opening was back in April 2025 and their offers are still ongoing. Moru is conveniently located on the northeast corner of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue and is easily accessible through Subway Line 1. There's also paid parking available in the area. We ordered "Zenbu Katsu" with extra Jambo Ebi, "Gidori Udon" and "Katsu Don". We also ordered "Matcha Smoothie", "Peach Ade", and "Yuza Ade" from the drinks menu. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. We enjoyed every single bite. For dessert, we ordered "Matcha Tiramisu" and "Matcha Ice Cream with House-made Matcha Cream". I love matcha and enjoyed both of the desserts. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They deeply care about providing great customer experience and atmosphere.

Yelp
So to begin, Moru Katsu grand opening was on April 4th, 2025. Moru Katsu is located on the second floor. I highly recommend to take the stairs because the elevator you must take the left one and press M instead of level 2. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. As a first timer, I think the Zenbu Katsu is a good option because you get to try a bit of everything, tofu Katsu (hard tofu), Ebi (shrimp) Katsu, pumpkin, Zucchini, pork loin and pork fillet. I prefer the pork loin over the pork fillet as the pork was marinated better. I did order a separate Ebi because I like shrimp. The minced cutlet (Manchu) was flavourful and tasty with bits of carrots inside. The Katsu Don, I find the egg on the salty side. Overall, worth to check it out.

Yelp
The shrimp katsu has a pretty presentation but it's hard to eat. Not that flavourful/delicious either. But I liked Hire (pork) katsu (very soft) and Tori (chicken) katsu that other people got. I would go back to try their katsu sando.

Yelp
Best Tonkatsu restaurant in Toronto! We had Torikatsu (Chicken), Katsu salad and Udon. Katsu was nicely breaded and deep-fried, so it was surprisingly light, not saggy. Tori Katsu came with rice, salad, miso soup, pickles and seasonings (Shio & mustard). Portion was generous. Udon came with peppery chicken, some fish cakes and deep fried tofu. Its soup was very flavorful. Katsu salad - Pork Katsu came on a bed of salad. There were thin sliced apples, cheese and cabbages (and some other ingredients) in the salad which made it very enjoyable thoroughly. Dressing was delicious as well. One downside is that an evevator to go up to their floor was not working (not sure if it was temporary or permanent) I had to take stairs with a stroller and my two little kids....
