Amazing Japanese fried cutlet restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we're able to answer all my food allergy questions promptly. The food was delicious, generously proportioned, and well priced. I think most dinner sets were around $23. The ambiance was modern and not too loud. Great for a date! I also highly recommend the potato salad.

Simply, Moru Katsu has the best katsu in Toronto and is a fantastic new addition to the Yonge and Eglinton restaurant scene. We had the Zenbu (cheese, shrimp, vegetables, and 2 pork katsu for $39) and Tori (2 chicken breast katsu for $23) with a pitcher of Sapporo. The portions were perfect for two. Every katsu set comes with rice, miso soup, and cabbage salad. Everything was amazing bar the rice. The Tori was cooked to perfection, undoubtedly my personal favourite. The interpretation of miso soup was certainly original but delectable. Moru Katsu will undoubtedly secure a place on our Asian restaurant top 10 list in Toronto.

They have a small menu specializing in authentic japanese Katsu, using only 270 hr aged pork and house made panko. They strive to use fresh ingredients daily and you can tell each dish is made with love🫶🏼 🇯🇵 The presentation was beautiful and they had sauces to compliment each dish. I loved the way their Katsu sauce had a very tangy and light bbq taste to it. This was the freshest katsu i’ve ever had, I got the Zenbu Katsu which came of assortment of all their katsu. But favourites definitely have to be the Ebi and Cheese Katsu. The Katsu salad was a perfect appetizer covered with a light tangy sauce and breaded pork cutlet. The Gidori Udon was good but just wish it had more flavour to it, the broth felt a little too clean for me. But the chicken was super yummy! Not gonna lie, the MATCHA stole the show😩It was surprising so good, it was strong and very flavourful with a great price🍵 Zenbu Katsu - $39 | 9/10 Katsu Salad -$16 | 8/10 Gidori Udon-$19 | 7/10 Matcha Latte- $6.50 | 8/10 Matcha Smoothie -$6.50 | 9.5/10 Kind of hidden but you will find it!! located on the 2nd floor and elevator is available as well.

It’s my third visit to this place. They’ve introduced a new summer menu called the Lime Cold Udon. The refreshing cold noodles were a perfect choice for the hot and humid weather today. Seriously, cold noodles were exactly what I needed for this crazy hot and humid day. Plus, the place is always super clean, the staff are chill, and the food? Always bomb!

I was hopeful when i saw this restaurant walking along Eglinton. I was hoping for thick cut and juicy katsu and it does not disappoint! My order was soft and juicy and the set comes with one free refill of each side. Will definitely eat here again.

I saw this place from the bus a few weeks ago and was wondering how long they’d been here given it was on the 2nd floor. Turns out they had just opened in early May, so I took the first opportunity to give this place a try. There is signage once you enter the building and we took the stairs to the second floor where we were promptly greeted and seated. There were three other tables seated already when we arrived around 12:30pm for lunch. The menu isn’t too long, but had a good selection of items (I’ll need to come back and sample other dishes and offerings). I ordered the pork loin and it was tender, juicy, and flavourful. The exterior was super crispy and the meat was cooked to perfection. The seasoning salt, mustard, and katsu sauce paired well with the meat. The sets included miso soup, chopped cabbage salad, and rice. The portion size was perfect for me.

Amazing just wow. I recommend everyone give this place a try. Very authentic food. Be ready you might not be able to finish everything, but try as much as possible different flavors and textures are just pure heaven. And the rice! Omg so amazing. I feel I'm in Japan.

Hitting up the newest hottest Katsu Joint in Toronto. Just off Yonge on Eglinton (6 Eglinton East 2nd Floor) Pork is aged for 270 Days, very tasty and fresh. Definitely try their Zenbu Katsu Meal to get a sampling of all their Katsu Offerings. Don't forget to eat the cheese one while it's hot, gooey and fresh. Atmosphere very minimalistic and simple. Service is good however I feel they are understaffed with two servers whom are zooming around constantly Pricey but enjoyable as a occasional indulgence. No street parking along Eglinton so you'll need to find parking on the side streets

Yelp
Moru serves high quality, tasty and fresh Katsu dishes that's a great representation of Japanese cuisine and culture. Their Grand Opening was back in April 2025 and their offers are still ongoing. Moru is conveniently located on the northeast corner of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue and is easily accessible through Subway Line 1. There's also paid parking available in the area. We ordered "Zenbu Katsu" with extra Jambo Ebi, "Gidori Udon" and "Katsu Don". We also ordered "Matcha Smoothie", "Peach Ade", and "Yuza Ade" from the drinks menu. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. We enjoyed every single bite. For dessert, we ordered "Matcha Tiramisu" and "Matcha Ice Cream with House-made Matcha Cream". I love matcha and enjoyed both of the desserts. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They deeply care about providing great customer experience and atmosphere.

Yelp
So to begin, Moru Katsu grand opening was on April 4th, 2025. Moru Katsu is located on the second floor. I highly recommend to take the stairs because the elevator you must take the left one and press M instead of level 2. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. As a first timer, I think the Zenbu Katsu is a good option because you get to try a bit of everything, tofu Katsu (hard tofu), Ebi (shrimp) Katsu, pumpkin, Zucchini, pork loin and pork fillet. I prefer the pork loin over the pork fillet as the pork was marinated better. I did order a separate Ebi because I like shrimp. The minced cutlet (Manchu) was flavourful and tasty with bits of carrots inside. The Katsu Don, I find the egg on the salty side. Overall, worth to check it out.

Yelp
The shrimp katsu has a pretty presentation but it's hard to eat. Not that flavourful/delicious either. But I liked Hire (pork) katsu (very soft) and Tori (chicken) katsu that other people got. I would go back to try their katsu sando.

Yelp
Best Tonkatsu restaurant in Toronto! We had Torikatsu (Chicken), Katsu salad and Udon. Katsu was nicely breaded and deep-fried, so it was surprisingly light, not saggy. Tori Katsu came with rice, salad, miso soup, pickles and seasonings (Shio & mustard). Portion was generous. Udon came with peppery chicken, some fish cakes and deep fried tofu. Its soup was very flavorful. Katsu salad - Pork Katsu came on a bed of salad. There were thin sliced apples, cheese and cabbages (and some other ingredients) in the salad which made it very enjoyable thoroughly. Dressing was delicious as well. One downside is that an evevator to go up to their floor was not working (not sure if it was temporary or permanent) I had to take stairs with a stroller and my two little kids....
