I think hotels in Vladivostok are generally expensive, price/quality ration very low. I chose this hotel mainly because that it has twin bedding rooms available. Also, price is comparatively low. The best of this hotel is its location, can walk leisurely everywhere. Hotel is like 5 minutes to Maritime Terminal, 8 minutes to the Fighters’ Square. Restaurants. Of course, with that price in Vladivostok, don’t expect any luxury from this hotel, or indeed, more like a hostel. If you need a low-budget hotel with excellent location with twin bed, this can be a choice. My booking is inclusive of breakfast. This hotel offer set breakfast any time of the day. Go to the canteen (not restaurant) any time of the day and order the set you want. Well, of course, don’t expect any good quality breakfast, but I think the best is the cup of hot tea.

Some of the other reviews here seem a little harsh, or maybe things have changed for the better recently! We stayed for a week in October in a double room on the first floor. While the decor of the room was basic, it was clean and presentable enough. The staff were attentive and helpful, arranging visa registration without prompting.||||Overall this is a reasonably priced hotel (in comparison to other options in Vlad!) and has a good central location. I would be happy to stay here again.

We arrived very early in the morning, but were still able to check in and use our room. The staff were very helpful, og spoke better english than what's common in Russia. ||The price is low (at least in February), and the rooms are nice and clean, if not more than that. Breakfast was included, ordinary stuff, wouldn't complain.

Stayed whilst using this for a base, just needed a bed and shower whilst on business, wasn't going to be spending much time there, so happy enough with standard.|Rooms clean, good shower. Bed a little lumpy but not too bad. Staff very nice with quite good English.|WARNING NO LIFT! If you are not up to it, you need to ask and make sure you're not up 5 flights of stairs as we were.|Breakfast is standard Russian stuff, so don't expect a big choice - porridge, bread, cheese, ham and maybe a pancake.|Remember, this is not 5 star, if you want to pay for that, go elsewhere.

Our stay here was very unpleasant. We made a prepaid booking on the hotel's website, but the reception staff tried to insist that we pay again in cash. They were completely unaware that their own hotel's website accepts online prepaid bookings. After 20 minutes of arguing (they pretty much accused my Russian-speaking girlfriend of being a prostitute) they finally called the manager and realised that in fact we had already paid.||||They also do not know the policy with registration for foreigners, which can (and for us it did) cause problems in later travels. They charged us money for registration, but gave us no registration.||||Our room was on the fifth floor. They have no lifts, so we had to walk with our bags all the way up. ||||The room was a standard Soviet era inspired stinky box. The toilets are VERY small. By 'very small' I mean, when you sit on the toilet your knees are outside the bathroom. You cannot comfortably close the door when you are relieving yourself. ||||I would like to say to other travellers - do not be tempted by the central location of this hotel. Yes it is close to the railway station and various tourist sites, yes it is cheaper than other hotels in down town Vladivostok. But it is a horrible hotel. Stay away.

We were happy to receive our money back after the first night of four nights booked. Room was less than tiny, bedding wasn't made up, when made the sheets didn't fit the bed, mattress consisted of two mattresses layered one a top of the other on steel frame, walls paper thin, bathroom so small that the door couldn't be closed when sitting on toilet. Room and bathroom putrid, couldn't get out of there fast enough. Booked another hotel for couple of extra dollars a night, was well worth it.

I have stayed in many different hotels and dormitories. And this hotel is the worst one. There are a lot of Chinese people staying there (I think around 70% of all residents) and looks like they do not have any Idea about the rules for residents. I stayed for two nights there on the 6th floor. First night I slept 2.5 hours and second night 3 hours, because of the noise on the floor. Walls are really thin and you can hear everything that is happening in the adjacent rooms. The overall condition of the room is poor. Uncomfortable bed and smelly blanket. Sometimes no hot water in the tap for the short periods of time. Cleanness of the bathroom/toilet is under suspect. I regret that I stayed in this "hotel".

Very well located, with the train station and much of central Vladivostok within walking distance. As such, the price is absolutely excellent. The hotel staff respond quickly and helpfully to email enquiries.||||Although the reception staff are professional, unfortunately the security guards we encountered ranged from rude to unhelpful. This included being screamed at (rather than simply explained to) that we hadn't parked in the particular space that a day guard wanted, and on one hot night having fallen quite unwell in the room, a snoozing night guard who refused to respond despite one of us trying to ask for a fan to cool down.||||Perhaps we just met the guards on a bad day, but it was not a pleasant night of illness and, after that experience, we wouldn't feel confident about finding a member of staff available to help if there was a more serious problem overnight.||||The hotel does visa registration and provides a slip without having to request it. Rooms are simple and small, but clean with working wi-fi and comfortable beds. The hotel has reserved parking spaces at the back which can be used for free, a drinks fridge in reception, and a restaurant upstairs that serves tasty and inexpensive Russian meals.
