We were traveling the Oregon coast and decided to try Mo's out. It did not disappoint. The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. We absolutely loved the cod ceviche. If you are in the area, definitely check out this location. The view of Cannon Beach and the wildlife in this area is amazing.

Google
Very good chowder and seafood. Well known around the PNW and they live up to the hype. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Haystack Rock. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

They serve big portions, it's right in front of the beach and, the service was great, but I found the clam shoulder didn’t quite suit my palate, it had too much potato and when they serve it to me, it was all over the bread and it got cold quickly and I didn't like that at all.

In my past visits, Mo’s has usually been pretty good. Today, it was absolutely atrocious! Very, very dissatisfied and am not sure we’ll be going back. The chowder has taken a huge nosedive, and is nothing like that of the past which helped it bring them to light in the world of seafood. The fish was no tasteless and greasy, we couldn’t, not chose to, but couldn’t fish them! Chips/fries, underseasoned and limp. The best part was the amazing view. Hard to beat that! I hope they make changes and fix the food because that is us Mo fans want.

We ordered take out and walked over from Tolvana Inn and brought it back. I had the tuna melt, which, for such a simple dish was AMAZING! It was so good. We also had the slumgullion chowder which I highly recommend. My kids said the fish and chips were really good, too. My partner said his blackened fish could have had more flavor and/or seasoning, otherwise he said it was still good.

Had lunch here with my family of six, including two children. We tried the fish and chips—cod for my wife and halibut for myself. The halibut was decent; I've had better elsewhere, but it was still enjoyable. Clam chowder was actually pretty enjoyable, we recommend. Unfortunately, the cod was disappointing; the breading was a bit odd and neither my wife nor I really liked it. Ranch was also strange and oysters were out. The service was another letdown. We had to wait about 15 minutes after getting our drinks before we could order, and eventually had to go find the waitress ourselves. That kind of wait is pretty frustrating, especially when dining with kids. On the positive side, the views are nice and it's convenient to be so close to the beach. Parking was easy, which is always a plus. However, despite the location and view, the overall experience wasn't enough to make us eager to return again.

This is always a stop we have to make whenever we come out to Cannon Beach. It's not a trip to the coast without a cup of clam chowder! The fish and chips, salmon, grilled cod, they're all solid! And it's great to sit next to the window and have a beautiful view of the beach.

My wife and her family hyped this place up pretty well and I'm sorry to say, Mo's didn't live up to it. I tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt since there were so few of them both on the floor and in the kitchen. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings from the start and never got them, my daughter never got her beverage until the end of the meal though she was entranced with the tartar sauce so it worked out fine. Now I'm not a food snob by any means but my meal was disappointing. I ordered the combination plate and frankly, it tasted like something I can get from the frozen section at a grocery store though I will say that the fries were delicious. The clam chowder was rather good, I kinda wished I could have had a large bowl of that. For me, the saving grace was the drinks and the view. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea which had a nice taste (and kick) to it. Also, with me being from out of state, I wanted to try a local beer so I had a Sweet As! Pacific Ale and on a hot day, that hit the spot especially on tap. Pair that with good company and a beautiful view of the ocean and you've got a bit of serenity right there. Given the price of the platter, the quality and quantity of the food, and the lackluster service, I would normally rate lower but the beer and the overall good environment made up for it. It still won't be my first choice in beachside restaurants.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped into Mo's for lunch while staying in Cannon Beach. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is large and can easily accommodate large parties. We opted to sit outdoors during our visit. Both indoors and outdoors provides nice views of the ocean. Mo's offers a full bar, craft beer and wine. The menu is seafood heavy as expected and desired. While looking over the menu I enjoyed a pint of Fort George Vortex IPA for $6.75 and my wife enjoyed a Dead Guy for $6.95. For our lunch we shared the Slumgullion for $12.95: 12oz of Clam Chowder topped with pink bay shrimp. The chowder was thick, hearty and tasty. The bay shrimp addition made the chowder even more enjoyable. We also shared the Clam Strips for $11.95. The batter on the clam strips was flavorful and fried to perfection. Our lunch was that more memorable from the gorgeous view of the ocean while dining. Service was friendly and efficient. This was our first time experiencing a Mo's chain restaurant and we were not disappointed.

Brian L.

Yelp
Probably my favorite of the Mo's locations. You can't beat the view of the haystack rocks. Service was OK today and a little bit spending, even considering we split dishes at the table. Halibut fish and chips was pretty good, but there was a lot of extra breading so the value wasn't there 100%. Kids enjoyed themselves and that's what the most important thing was for us

Belldandy O.

Yelp
A colleague of mine highly recommended Mo's Seafood & Chowder, specifically this location, so we could enjoy the stunning view of Cannon Beach while dining in. There was a convenient free parking lot right outside the restaurant, which also provided easy access to the beach! Our group of three was quickly seated upon arrival, and we were fortunate enough to be placed by the windows with a beautiful view of the beach. The service was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations on what to order. However, the food was somewhat underwhelming. While it wasn't bad, it certainly didn't justify the three-hour drive from Washington. We tried the Steamer Clams, Combination Plate, and the Original Fettuccine Alfredo with Bay Shrimp. Each entrée came with a cup of their famous clam chowder, which, although served hot, didn't impress me. The clam chowder was fine but lacked any standout flavor. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed by the Steamer Clams. They had absolutely no flavor and were drenched in a pool of butter, which was honestly off-putting. The main entrees were decent, but the Combination Plate felt overpriced for what it offered.

Yelp
The view from the outdoor picnic tables is the highlight, though the tables need a deep cleaning. It being the start of lunch showed tables were not cleaned from the previous day. Chowder is MOdiocre and seafood too expensive for heavily fried tiny portions. Service made everything unenjoyable ~ slow to seat, slow to greet, straight faced with no energy. This was a slow day, beginning of lunch hour with only one other table. The server was not a happy person when we asked for more tartar sauce and beer.

Julie E.

Yelp
Can't beat these views! Affordable seafood and always know what to expect...best chowder anywhere! This is by far my favorite chowder. It's creamy and perfect ratio of potatoes, clams and yum. Our waitress was awesome and we couldn't believe how fast our drinks and food came out. We didn't see any outdoor seating or dog friendly areas. Otherwise it's a perfect place to stop in Cannon Beach. Nestled right next to the public parking so another bonus!

Nikki C.

Yelp
Ambiance: The main entrance is an entrance to a small cute gift shop like, with cute stuffed animals and small gifts if you needed to pick up something. Service : for a party of two, it was fairly quick seating. It was decent. Food: we ordered very little, however we dis order the bread clam chowder because that's all the advertising we saw. Anyways we were excited for the bread clam chowder however was a little disappointed when the bread bowl was fairly small, the chowder was mostly full of poppies and not much clams. However the flavor was decent and it was comforting to slurp if down next to the ocean. Can't complain about the view I'd you are seating next to the window. We went on a fairly windy cloudy day so the white caps were amazing to watch while eating some fish and chips and a warm bowl of clam chowder . We also got the kids fish and chips but I think my kid was most interested in my bread bowl of chowder. To top it off, their Bloody Mary was pretty standard.

Holly R.

Yelp
While road-tripping through Cannon Beach, we decided to stop at Mo's Seafood and I'm so glad we did. The waitress was friendly and efficient and sat us next to the window facing the beach. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. I'm not supposed to eat dairy but it was worth it. It was creamy and packed with flavor. I also got the fish tacos, and they were so good! The fish was fresh and flaky, and the coleslaw gave it the perfect crunch.

Sebastian P.

Yelp
Attentive and great service from smiling faces and a lot of great items on the menu I wanted to try, but since Mo's is most well known for their clam chowder I went that route and it was sooo good. No regrets to my choice at all. The environment is moderately loud because it's always so busy but not to the point where you have to elevate your voice to hear one another. Would definitely visit this location again and would try any other location from the good experience of this place.

Maria L.

Yelp
Excellent service. Ronnie was very attentive and does his job well. The clam chowder is so flavorful and filling. One of the best I've ever had. One recommendation is a half order of onion rings. As a side it is too much even for 3 people. Skip the steamed clams... they are boring. It was like lukewarm water with no flavor. Where's the white wine and garlic? The view is wonderful and if it's warm I recommend sitting outside.

Val M.

Yelp
No one came over to our table for over 20 minutes. We sat awkwardly waiting for anyone to come by and offer waters, or just acknowledge us at that point. Servers would rather bus tables and keep their heads down ignoring us. If I did this to customers at my work I 1) would probably have a customer get up and wave me down 2) not make good money in tips 3) loose out on business over time 4) have tables get up and leave We exhibited #4 and said nothing and left. It's ok, MO's food is going downhill anyways, everyone talks about it now. I probably saved myself from a horrible stomach ache and rolling around in bed all night with food poisoning. The bonus is that we kept rent space at a table for free with a great view of the ocean! I'll take it!

Vickie H.

Yelp
I had the fettuccine Alfredo which was good, plentiful, and inexpensive. Great view right on the water. Service fast and friendly. Good prices. Not getting a 5 because the ambience is sorely lacking. Would love to have lingered over my dinner and a drink or two, but not on the hard bench seating, no cushions, no back. I am old and sore and creaky. I won't be going back. But probably a great place for families.

S L.

Yelp
This place was great. Conveniently close to our hotel. They have a great clam chowder and slaw with bay shrimp!

Linh N.

Yelp
Came here for an early Saturday dinner and the place was busy but still had tables available. I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo pasta with crispy chicken and it came with a small clam chowder in a cup. The pasta was decent, but I wish the noodles weren't so dry. It was cooked Al dente which I love but the noodles could be more moist (maybe tossed in olive oil or something). This is not an Italian restaurant so I didn't expect mind blowing pasta! The clam chowder was really good- creamy and well seasoned. It seemed like a popular item because a lot of people ordered it. The restaurant is overlooking Cannon beach and Haystack rock! Literally you can walk a few steps down and you're at the beach! Great views with the option of dining inside or outside.

David C.

Yelp
I miss the Old Mo's. This place is now void of character. Feels like a cafeteria. Amazing views of Haystack and the beach though.

Ann N.

Yelp
Parking: about 10-15 spaces in front of the restaurant. You'll have to park in the surrounding areas when it's busy. We got there around 2pm on a Friday, perfect timing as there was no line or an issue with parking. We were walked to our table with menus in hand. Service at first was slow but our waitress was busy and did come by to acknowledged us and tell us she'll be back. Lots of tables inside and I'm told there's tables outside as well. It was a little chilly and windy so we decided to sit inside. We got a table in front of a window so it's nice views of the beach. We ordered and as we waited, asked for more crackers and napkins. The waitress did not ask how many, just brought out more than enough. Appreciate that. The food started coming out, pipping hot. Chowder was creamy and almost buttery. Good stuff! Fried onions: huge plate of it, enough to share with 4-5ppl. Fish and chips: full pieces of fish on a bed of fries. Shrimp sandwich: nice and refreshing and cold. Nice addition to our warm food. We had 2 alcoholic drinks and we liked both of them. Good service, clean and wide open restaurant so it doesn't feel as if you're sitting too close to the next table.

Rob R.

Yelp
Good food. Friendly staff. Restaurant looks about what you would expect for the money but beats fast food and the view of the beach is worth it.

Angela J.

Yelp
Outside picnic table seating with sun umbrellas. The clam chowder was delicious, $5.95 for a cup. The cabbage/shrimp salad is exactly that, no additional ingredients. It was a light lunch and $5.95. The service was excellent and besides the wind we had a fabulous lunch. Pepsi products only with a small selection of mixed drinks, a few beers, and wine.

Lisa E.

Yelp
We decided to try it to go for valentines day as we figured it would be crowded and have a long wait. the menu said the entrees come with complementary clam chowder so that's what we selected also ordered a drink 10 minutes later we received a text saying it was ready , we get back to our room and noticed they only gave us our entrees and appetizers drove back to try and get the rest and they gave me a kids size drink with lid and still no clam chowder. wasn't going back in there a third time so we just ate our food clam strips were good, halibut fish was good warm and flakey, cod was a bit rubbery from being over fried ,fries were not fresh obviously left over from lunch cold and undercooked. onion rings were coated with a lot of panko bread crumbs which made them way too hard and crunchy to eat. left us wishing we would have just paid for clam chowder instead. probably would have been better to eat inside, if your getting your food to go don't expect the entire order.

Tawnia M.

Yelp
We didn't have to wait very long for a table. I had the clam chowder bread bowl with shrimp. It tasted fresh with plenty of shrimp. Waitress was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. Beautiful view of the oceanfront.

Arsenio B.

Yelp
Great service! The clam chowder and artichoke dip tasted really good. But the best part about Mo's is the view of Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock!

Veronica K.

Yelp
Good food at not too expensive of a price point. The view from the dining area can't be beat, and you can spot Haystack Rock from your table. I enjoyed the clam chowder and loved my combination platter, which consisted of fried clams, fried shrimp and fried cod. My husband got shrimp coleslaw which he loved and is unlike anything we've had anywhere else. Overall a good experience, I would recommend it,

Kaylee B.

Yelp
I had the clam chowder which was good, and the salmon which was average. The views were really pretty, right on the beach! Our waitress was a little bit rude. Overall kind of mediocre.

Sadie P.

Yelp
We stopped in at Mo's on a roadtrip from out of town at 8 o'clock. We were hungry and it was one of the only places left open along our route so we decided to give it a try despite the subpar reviews. We were seated quickly and there were a lot of tables open, but there were still quite a few diners. Our server didn't come nearly as quickly but she was very nice and we were checked on frequently. It was a little cold but it was nighttime so it makes sense. We ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with crispy chicken, a large portion of the clam chowder, the shrimp cabbage salad, and the fish tacos with cod. The Alfredo was lukewarm and didn't have very much flavor. The crispy chicken was really just cut up chicken fingers. The cod in the fish tacos was very good but everything else was relatively bland. The clam chowder was huge despite getting a the large which had 2 sizes larger than it. It also was pretty bland and had more potatoes and bacon in it than clam, though it was very hot, so that is a plus. We got the shrimp cabbage salad with the shrimp on the side, I don't really know why this is on the menu, it was not good. We also got the garlic butter parm bread which was absolutely saturated in butter, definitely not something you get if you're on a diet. Overall the food was edible- but not much else. Though the staff were very nice and we got in and out. I probably wouldn't come back again if I were to pass back through the area, so if you arrive before everything closes I would recommend going somewhere else.

Wendy S.

Yelp
Good and fast service. My server, Jorge, was very nice. Food came out hot, fast, and delicious. Nice little gift shop in the lobby. There's outdoor seating with a view of haystack rock in the distance.

Mary Jane C.

Yelp
Average touristy option. No standouts but food is satisfying. Service is very friendly (people are friendly in Oregon in general though..) and prompt. Food: All food was average, which makes sense if you're catering to different tastes in a tourist spot. -Clam chowder was done well. No grittiness. Had flavor - tastes like bacon potato soup. -Fish & chips were crispy. Batter was plain. Fries were alright. Convenient and safe food option.

Terry-Jo L.

Yelp
Excellent food. Excellent staff. Excellent ocean Views. Lovely outside patio with very cool shaded umbrellas. Plentiful parking by also using beach park parking too!!! The restaurant is literally next to the beach entrance for easy beach access. Beer battered Halibut fish and chips were delicious. I had a strawberry Lemonade with an added shot of Malibu rum and it was yummy!!!! Their clam chowder is one of the best around!!!!!

Dalton E.

Yelp
The sandwich 9/10 one of the best fish sandwiches I've had in a very long time, good amount, came with 2 tomatoes I took both off and it was still really good but no sauce so had too spray the side of tarter sauce on the inside of the bun Fries 9/10 great crispy fries Long Island ice tea 8/10 didn't feel that strong but was definitely delicious The view 11/10 the view was AMAZING I won't post the pic of the view cause you'll def wanna be surprised instead it's worth it

Marcela C.

Yelp
Was wary after seeing the variety of reviews but honestly we had a great time! Our server was Angela, she was prompt and friendly. Other staff was so swift to pick up any empty plates. The food came out quick and hot and we devoured everything. My mom raved about the artichoke dip during and after the meal. The garlic parm bread the comes with the dip is so good, I could've ate the bread by itself. The chowder was delicious, Tabasco and pepper at the table already. The combo was crispy and the fries are bomb. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and it had real strawberries in it! no complaints at all, window seat to enjoy the view. I also loved at the door they had buckets and if you pick up a bucket of trash you get an IPA or a cup of chowder! This tourist attraction is a win for me!

Anastazia V.

Yelp
We came to Mo's so my husband could have a chowder bread bowl. We sat on the patio with our pup which had a great view. The drinks are actually pretty decently priced for the area. We ordered the chowder with shrimp topper and a side of fries. The fries weren't great, they were room temp and just blah - good thing they were only $2 cuz my dog ate most of them. The chowder was good, but the shrimp topper kind of took over. The service was good, our server was very friendly and quick. My husband would return and just try the chowder bowl without the shrimp.

Mai L.

Yelp
I would give a 4 for location and views. I'd give a 3 for the food. And 3.5 for service. We ventured to Cannon Beach and loved that this was a seafood place right on the beach. There is patio seating and indoor seating. Even if you sit inside, it full of windows and bright light so you can still view the beach! We ordered clam chowder and combination platter to split for dinner. The clam chowder was made with bacon in it which is okay - I prefer without. The fish was dried. The clam strips were my favorite. Very crispy. The batter was good. The butterfly shrimp was also tasty. Fries needed some seasoning. The fish plate was super cute. And we did add some garlic bread which was good. It was kind of like Texas toast!

John C.

Yelp
We happen to be in Cannon Beach and stopped in the Moe's for a quick bite to eat. Moe's is a classic. They just don't get any better. The fish fry was great. The view from the window was fantastic and the service was excellent in Cannon Beach and can't decide where to go just go to Moe's!

Mama W.

Yelp
Fish & Chips were ok, not our favorite. Great location, you can eat inside & outside. Service was good, drinks were good. Clam chowder was good.

Amber P.

Yelp
Our family of 5 ate here yesterday and it was really, really good! Service and view was amazing. The clam chowder was delicious, salmon, fish and chips, and shrimp cocktail appetizer! Some other food we got was "meh" and seemed like Sysco (pre-made, frozen) food. I'd still recommend it, and would love to eat there again.

Christina D.

Yelp
Our road trip along PCH, we stopped here to check out the famous clams chowder. Line was pretty long but the wait wasn't bad. Beautiful view of Cannon beach and of course yummy chowders. Gotta check it out if you visit Cannon Beach.

Tony G.

Yelp
I was curious as to what Mo's was because our friends that went with us to Oregon for our daughters' gymnastics competition suggested it. I looked it up and noticed that there were a few in Oregon. The closest one to where we were staying was in Newport on the Historic Bayfront. We ended up going to the one in Tolovana State Beach. We've seen it before, just never going in. We were hungry and cold from being rained on at nearby Haystack Rock. Once you walk in, there's a small gift shop that leads to the main dining room. This dining room is large and has an AMAZING view of Cannon Beach!!! I ordered their famous Clam Chowder bowl. It was large! All of our food were served on these cute fish-shaped plates. My wife ordered their Impossible Burger and the kids ordered regular cheeseburgers. Mo's is famous throughout Oregon as a seafood restaurant. I recently read a book on the history of Mo's and fell in love with it even more after our visit! I will definitely be back but want to visit the Newport locations. They have 2 across the street from each other- the main restaurant across from the water and the Mo's Annex which is next door to the Newport Deep Sea Fishing office that's on the water.

J W.

Yelp
I had a great time and got an amazing table outside purely by luck, but if you don't get a table with a view don't worry the food is also really good. I got the Halibut instead of cod and it was so worth the drive to the coast. The clam chowder was good nothing to write home about could have used more meat but it was a good side. Fries were amazing for any French fry connoisseur. The service was great very kind and sweet waiter very attentive.

Brian S.

Yelp
I like Mo's but I always order the same thing so can't comment on most of their menu. I get a bowl of clam chowder, sometimes in a bread bowl, and that cabbage salad with the bay shrimp on top. Simple and satisfying.

Jesse S.

Yelp
We went to MO's during dinner time. Excellent customer service, clean and good food!

Matt C.

Yelp
The view was the best thing especially since we were finishing our dinner right at sunset. The food AKA fish and chips were pretty good. The service was okay they weren't particularly busy since we were not there during the summer time.. but I wasn't super impressed.

Tom S.

Yelp
It will do in a pinch, but just because you say it's world famous doesn't make it fantastic or great. I may be picky on my clam chowder and while I've had worse, I've had a lot better as well. (Your opinion may be different). The fish and chips were ok. Service was fine when I went.

Diana L.

Yelp
Nice lunch with a great view of the coast. Two of us are gluten free and found good options on the menu. Very tasty blackened cod tacos and shrimp Louie salad.

Austin P.

Yelp
We arrived at the restaurant and started by looking at the gift shop in the foyer. THE TURTLES WERE TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Other than that, the arrival was swell. The busser was ok, we made a funny joke and she didn't hear us. The busser placed us at a window seat which was wonderful. We were able to see everything that we could dream of, haystack rock, the ocean, the beach, and people making sand castles. The waiter was very nice she was very polite and tried her best at making sure everyone was being seen. It was hard for her because the restaurant was understaffed. She even gave me two refills without asking and one of the times I didn't even start drinking the other. The only down side with is not the waiters fault but the Shirley temple didn't have a cherry. The food was ok but it came out quick. The one thing we got mad about is that they had no oyster crackers. Finally if you are in cannon beach you should give it a try. Our experience was pretty darn good, and once again the service was fantastic!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Going to the coast in the winter is definitely different from going there in the summer. Mo's is usually packed with folks in the summer, but when we visited in the winter there were only a few people. A classic must-get is the clam chowder they have. However, it's a hit or miss sometimes in the flavor. This time around, we got a family-style chowder and it was pretty good and flavorful. No complaints. I ordered the combo basket, which I didn't realize how big it would be... With the combo basket you get to choose a side and I got a cabbage salad with shrimp. I for some reason thought that when it said cabbage salad and shrimp it would come with other things, but it literally is what it says. It came with a good pile of small shrimps for the salad. The combo basket came with some cod, shrimp, clam strips and fries. The shrimp felt like a coconut shrimp in a way, the cod was breaded nicely and the clam strips were good. The fries were a little greasy but was yummy. Overall, lots of food for this combo basket and definitely could share it with two people. I didn't take any photos this time, but will do next time. Oh also, while we were eating there is a nice view of the ocean here. We were able to see some whales a far.

Allyson S.

Yelp
My brother and I brought our out of town family here for lunch 9/24/2024. I don't expect exceptional quality from Mo's (the chowder is flat and lacking in clam flavor, to say the least), but love the view so we decided to give it (another) try. At least the last time we came, the waitstaff was friendly. Not so this time around. I worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade, including as a manager, and have never experienced rudeness to the extent we did yesterday. The waitress barely acknowledged us, was abrupt and unprofessional, and visibly rolled her eyes when my sister, who was not feeling well, said she wasn't ordering anything. I was literally taken aback by her behavior. Had we not had my very hungry 83 year old mother with us, we would have walked out then and there. I would have asked to speak to a manager, but all of the staff looked equally perturbed to be inconvenienced by their customers. I guess it should have been a clue when we walked in and heard another customer say, as they were leaving, "Well, we'll never come here again". It was downright shameful and, not only will I never return, I will tell everyone I know about our experience. P.S. in reading the vast majority of positive reviews, it is no wonder most are from out of state and likely haven't experienced the excellent seafood Oregon has to offer. Do yourselves a favor and go to Ecola Seafood downtown and walk a few blocks to take in the views. It'll be worth the time and effort.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service. Has a great view to the beach. Right next to our hotel. So can go walk on the beach and build the appetite and go eat. Then walk back to hotel. Don't have to drive or worry about traffic.

Yelp
Our server was sweet and attentive but everything else-- the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere-- was disappointing. No food had any flavor. I ordered blackened fish tacos and there was barely any seasoning on the fish and definitely NOT blackened by any stretch of the imagination. We probably wouldn't eat here again when in town. Waste of time and money, unfortunately especially because the prices seem higher than the quality of food ($18.95 for three tacos and a lukewarm cup of chowder).

Yelp
Great view, okay food, bad service. The spot is unbeatable, right on the beach with a fantastic view of haystack rock and the sunset. The salad was pretty average, but the clam chowder and fish and chips were solid. My partner got the Panko battered and it was dry and tasted like something from a freezer. We waited almost 12-15 minutes after being seated for anyone to come to us. Meanwhile we saw servers standing around and chatting and checking in with regulars. We got our salad first and ordered bread to go with our soup, but we didn't get the bread until AFTER we were done with our entrees when we made it clear it was for the soup. Our food just sat under the heat lamp as we could see it for greater than 5 minutes. Could barely get a refill before leaving.

Yelp
First time here. The food is amazing, shrimp appetizer, clam chowder my husband had to take some home. Highly recommend. Hot, fresh, delish meal.

Yelp
Ooof the worst meal I had around the Cannon Beach area. It was a bad start from the beginning when their online ordering system didn't work and nobody picked up the phone. For a takeout order and such a short trip back to the hotel down the road, the food was cold which makes me think it was barely hot to begin with. The clam chowder was gritty and oily, where you could skim a quarter inch layer of oil off the top. Their cannonball bread bowl was basic like a cheap sourdough. The combo basket was nothing to write home about in flavor, especially when it was cold. The service was sleepy. The summer job-kids at the front door were nonchalant and slow to acknowledge you. The woman who took our order did not seem present as well. There's a gift shop inside to browse while waiting, but there are better meals and experiences to be had in the area.
