Food is delicious but the wait time is tad longer as they cooked it when order is placed so it's really fresh. The ventilation is not great in the eatery as U will notice a strong food smell on your clothing and hair after you leave the place.

I ordered the Chef’s Special for two people. The portion was generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The dish mainly consisted of deep-fried items, which made it feel a bit greasy for my taste by the end. Still, it was decent overall, and I’d like to come back and try something else from the menu next time.

During my stay in Christuch in 2021, I had dinner here a few times. It was recommended by one of my vegetarian friends. We made a reservation ahead of time because the restaurant is very popular and busy, even on weekdays. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain their special dish, the Tagine, to us. They were patient and made sure we understood what it was and how it was prepared. The portion sizes were generous, so we felt satisfied after our meal. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. This restaurant is a great choice if you’re looking for a nice Middle Eastern place to eat with friends.

The food is truly amazing. The brocoli bites are an absolute delight and so are the platters. The homemade sauces are so yummy - especially the aioli. A big thank you to Jigar for being the kindest host you can hope for on a Friday dinner. Best team! 🫶🏻

I’m absolutely not the type to complain, but unfortunately our visit to Mosaic was not the best. I got the chicken kebab on a skewer, the chicken was not fresh at all, and I couldn’t chew it as it was so solid and dry. I had a very hard time getting it off the skewer to begin with. To me, it had been cooked previously. I couldn’t even get my fork through the chicken. I had left most of the chicken on the plate, visible to see to the chef, but unfortunately I was still charged full price for the dish. The young waiter (didn’t get his name) was very friendly and apologetic which was appreciated. He took our complaints to the kitchen, however, outwith his control. Disappointed, as it was clear the chicken was inedible. We are very understanding and forgiving - and we understand things like this can happen, but what was disappointing was that this was not rectified and we were still charged full price for the meal that I couldn’t eat the main part of.

Amazing Dinner. Service was great. They even went to the Dairy next door to get Ice Cream. Sticky Date pudding is a favorite but needs an overhaul as it not really like sticky date with Ice Cream and Butterscotch sauce. Moroccan food was Outstanding

Excellent food, very well presented. Tasty and lots of variety. Good vegan options as well with the platter. Fresh and handmade. Lovely dips and flatbread. Friendly waitress who was super helpful with suggesting things off the menu to get the best value for money. A little chilly in the restaurant in the back booth by the door to the toilet. There was a short cold draft. But other wise we will definitely be back!

Our food was very tasty and well portioned. They gave us some extras which were also delicious and the waiter was a very accommodating young lad. Music set the scene like a mediterranean elevator and was perfect to eat too. Hope all goes well with the new management. Will be back in the near future.

Just in Christchurch for a night and looked for something beyond burgers and fries. The chicken tangine was moist and tender with delicious couscous. The parcel we ordered was also very good- would come back for sure. Be sure to order the assorted dips tapas!
