The best hotel stay I’ve ever had. When you enter, the reception and cafe area are beautiful. The rooms are spacious with every amenity you could think of. We loved the coffee machine and the fact there was fresh glass bottles of water left in the room each morning. The smell of the soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioners were lovely - I’d actually like to buy some for myself! The only downside of the room was it was a little warm and we couldn’t get the thermostat lower than 22°, but that really was such a minor issue. The welcome drink and departing gift were such a special added touch. I really enjoyed learning about how sustainable the hotel is, too. I am desperate to come back and stay again - the location was also perfect.

My partner and I have just come home from a wonderful 3 night stay in the Mosaic Hotel and we cannot think of one bad word to say. It was a special occasion for us and the staff were nothing but wonderful from start to finish and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were fantastic, exceptionally clean and very spacious. It felt like a home away from home but with a touch of luxury for that extra special feel. As a vegetarian i was very impressed with the breakfast spread, literally something for everyone it was amazing! The hotel is ideal as its a little walk into town so you don't have much street noise but easy access to the old town and main attractions. Thank you to all the wonderful staff we can't wait to return!

Additionally, they can store your luggage once you have checked out - deadline for check out was 12pm which was great as we weren’t at all rushed.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is in a good location in a quiet area but close enough to city centre and main attractions. Also close to trams and metro to visit the city or reach the airport. Room had a good size and it was very clean. We also really liked the breakfast at the hotel cafe. The food quality was great and it was a good amount (Pictures just show half of the plate. I forgot to take picture before starting to eat).

What an amazing hotel! The hotel is so beautifully designed it feels modern but also cosy and welcoming. Our room was just the standard room but had everything we needed and more, including smart tv, Bluetooth speaker, daily water refills and a coffee machine that was also restocked. The bed was comfy and the shutters outside were really helpful to make the room extra dark! The bathroom was also gorgeous, it was really spacious with a large walk in shower and amenities like shower gel, conditioner and shampoo. The location was great, around 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Prague, the old town and lots of attractions. It was surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars but wasn't in a super busy or loud area which was great. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning which was delicious, lots of choice for food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We booked the private sauna during our stay which was only £24 which was a bargain! It was so luxurious having it to ourselves with a sauna, sun-beds and an ice bucket shower, it’d definitely worth booking. Could not recommend the hotel enough for a trip to Prague!

What a holiday! We would definetly choose it again and again. The location is perfect, the room we booked was amazing. Altought we found few hairs on the hot tub and the wardrobe wasn't huge, all the rest was simply perfect: confortable beds with wonderful pillows where my 2yo kid was playing and joyfully playing. A double balcony to enjoy the sunset, large tv with apps, bathroom fully equipped with courtesy set, a room directory printed in guests' language, a good wi-fi. Breakfast was too rich with salad and slightly poor on sweets for an italian average traveller, but courtesy was the right ingredient that made it enjoyable. An express cafeteria for hand made cappuccino would have made it perfect, but the same area becomes a fine dining restaurant with asian cusine at night, so I could not pretend a cafeteria placed there. The lounge bar owns a sofisticated layout that oblige you to sit and have a drink, plus a library that is worthy to stare at. Oh, the real plus is: check out at 12:00!!! such a treat for lazy travellers!!! Wish I can come back again. Thank you all @mosaicstaff

Exceptional stay with breathtaking views We had a wonderful stay at Mosaic House in Prague, and the penthouse apartment truly exceeded expectations. The 360-degree views over the city are absolutely stunning, and the quaint private terrace overlooking Prague made mornings and evenings especially magical. The amenities are outstanding. The gym and spa area are beautifully designed, calm, and immaculately maintained, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, with a great variety to start the day right. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the apartment itself was quiet, stylish, and well appointed. Everything felt intentional and high quality. The staff deserves special praise. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Mosaic House is also in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to major sights while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. The hotel’s modern, eco-conscious design adds another layer of appeal, and it is easy to see why so many guests return again and again. An exceptional experience from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

Even before our stay, we have already been extremely satisfied with the level of service and professionalism shown by the team at Mosaic House Design Hotel. Due to an unexpected medical situation, we had to make several changes to our reservation. Throughout this process, the hotel team was consistently supportive, solution-oriented, and genuinely caring. Special thanks to Daniel and Jan, whose clear communication and helpful approach made everything smooth and stress-free — but the appreciation truly goes to the entire team behind the scenes. Receiving such attentive and thoughtful service even before arriving at the hotel is rare and truly impressive. This experience has already set very high expectations for our upcoming stay, and we are very much looking forward to it. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely boutique hotel. The cafe on the ground level is nice - with a variety of pastries, desserts, champagne, alcohol, juice. The decor is hip, warm and cozy. The hotel is new or newly decorated. There are 2 wings of rooms. One wing has nice big hallways. One wing is like an annex. I was in the annex hall. The room is decent size, on the smaller side. There is a wood bench in front of the bed. I moved it to the small entry way next to the door to use as a "luggage rack". There are too many pillows. Good thing is that there is basket to put them in. The bathroom is nicely decorated, modern and a good size. The bathroom decor is high quality. My bathroom had a tub. The water didn't drain well and it had to be fixed twice, and still didn't drain well. That was really annoying and a waste of time waiting for sudsy water to drain so I can rinse the suds away. Service by the blonde slender female was good. She was smiley and cheerful. The petite brunette never smiled and didn't acknowledge guests even when standing in front of her. The heavy weight man comes off as abrasive. Nobody offered to help with luggage. They didn't walk me to the elevator that was around the cafe. The man that works at the cafe was nice. I took down a star for the poor receptionist service and a star for the clogged bathroom tub.

Stayed for 3 nights. Would recommend and stay here again. Far enough away from old town that we were spared the late late late crowd. Close enough to enjoy most everything. Great boutique with all the amenities, including a private (bookable) sauna and massage option. The cafe is top-notch and the rooms, service. and design were all well done. Some great art to be enjoyed Thank you. We will be back.

What a great find. They were the only hotel that had one room left in entire Prague 1 area. Room was spacious and had an amazing balcony overlooking the old city. Comfy beds, friendly staff. I believe it's a hotel with hostel option too and have different types of rooms. It's a fun place.

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks. It was an amazing experience!! everyone was so helpful & nice. I woke up every morning, went down to the little bar & had the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever! Also, a delicious croissant!! The rooms were just perfect & always very clean. Beds so comfy & I loved the shower. My daughter & boyfriend live in Prague so when they would come to meet me for dinner etc, we would sit in the lounge area to have wine & a cheese board first. We took a couple of days to travel to Antwerp & when we got back they greeted us with open arms. Wanted to hear all about our trip. if you need a car ride to airport or just anywhere they will set it all up for you. Also tour guide cars. The little area in front of the hotel was very cozy with benches, trees & very tall mushrooms designed by an artist. It was easy to walk anywhere from there. Especially the river! I could go on and on about this hotel!! I just can't say enough great things about it! I will be staying there when I go back! They have two other properties through out the old town which look amazing as well. I was looking in the area I chose because it was closer to my daughters apartment. I never even looked at one review. When I saw it on line I just knew it would be perfect. Thanks to all the staff for making my stay absolutely amazing! I love the three little books with photos of all the properties & my little duck/cow they gave me when I left. lol. The story about the cows & hotel/ apartment designs are very interesting just to get a feel for why they are designed the way they are. Did I mention - I'll be a staying there again for sure!! lol Miss Y'all

What a fun hostel to stay in! I stayed in one of their big female dorms and had a great experience. The lobby is super cute and full of energy. I like the key card entries instead of actual keys. Bathroom was very clean and the water in the shower was hot! Bed was decently comfortable and having a light and plug in your bunk is a game changer! I also think the location of the hostel is great for the price! I definitely would stay here again!

This was a great hostel! My cousin and I(both females) stayed in the 26 bed dorm room and it was very nice. We were able to reserve a bunk together ahead of time. The staff was extremely nice and friendly which made the whole experience very nice. We were able to purchase locks for the lockers at the desk for about $3/each. It was within good walking distance to the city center and local restaurants. The only thing I wish was better is that I wished they provided towels or had paper towels in the bathroom. You can rent a towel though. The beds were comfortable, and all the girls were quite at all hours and very respectful of one another. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling alone or looking for a place for the girls to stay.

This place is quite interesting because it caters for both the budget traveller (hostel dorm rooms) and the more luxury traveller or prefers something private (hotel rooms). I've stayed in both rooms here. The hostel rooms are very clean and not to mention the bathrooms are the best I've seen in a hostel (rainforest showers! I even think the bathrooms are better than some hotels I've stayed in). And the price is quite good too. The hotel rooms is what you would expect for a hotel in terms of service and price.

Great place! Clean, modern, helpful staff, laundry machines and dryers for $5 and daily breakfast for $7 if purchased in advance at check in is DELICIOUS! We booked the private room and it was fantastic. Spacious, had patio and couch also had a desk area with storage for our things. Will stay here again!

Firstly, Ive secured reservation for this hotel on Orbitz. Not to promote Orbitz, but usually Orbitz offers better pricing in comparison to the hotel website itself. With that being said, the pictures from Orbitz can be a little deceiving. So, I will offer the following notes: 1. Arrival and parking. The hotel does NOT have private parking (this is usually an ammenity I try to find when selecting a hotel in Europe since I'm licensed here). The hotel itself is located on several one way roads which will require you to possible drive in a bit of a circle depending on which direction you are coming from. There is a pull-in area in front of the hotel, but 9 times out of 10 it is occupied by the hotel shuttle. The closest parking is a private owned underground garage around the corner. If you are looking for this, keep your eye out because you will drive past it before you know it. Look out for the "P" sign and the little arrow that direct you onto the sidewalk and through the building. Press the button to open the gate; the attendant will be downstairs (Garage is open between 0700 to midnight). 2. Atmosphere and Design. This hotel, by design, should receive a 5 star rating. Very neat (has a couple of cool mushroom structures and neat statues outside and on the terraces of the hotel) decorations and furnishings to give it a "hipster" feel. They have a bar/lounge that gets pretty lively at night especially on the weekends, which makes it easy for guests that don't wish to wander far at night. 3. Rooms and ammenities. I agree with a lot of the reviews that says the rooms are small and tight. I stayed in a double room with terrace. Again the pictures can be a bit misleading. The beds dont separate if though they are really two twins set together. However, the terrace view was enjoyable and the shower ammenities were nice. Clean and does the job since you'll be spending your timing enjoying what the city has to offer. 4. Location. I've stayed at various locations i Prague during my multiple visits here, and I would probably say this is falls right in the middle when it comes to distance to the areas where everyone tends to go (Old Historic Town and Wencesclas Square). If you don't mind doing some walking, it's definitely less than a mile to Old Town and less than half a mile to Wencesclas Square. The Palace is a bit farther out, but I like to think that anywhere in Prague is walkable. 5. Food and Forage. Like anywhere else, you'll have to walk a couple of blocks to find local food (the hotel has a restaraunt downstairs and own dining menu). Theres also a supermarket around the corner. 6. Pricing. This is definitely a great hotel for the price that you are paying. I would say that it can be compare to paying for a 3 star hotel stay at a 1 star hotel price.

5 star experience here! Anyone looking for a fun hostel-type experience at a really nice hotel - look no further. I can't recommend this place enough as it was an amazing first-time hostel experience for me. You get all the social aspects of staying at a hostel but the accommodations, cleanliness, and modern design makes this more of a hotel. Service was great, prices as well. Close to transportation. You can't ask for much else!

Spent only one night here so I can't really say much. But what I can say for sure is that the folks at the front desk were friendly and efficient even though they had a pretty long queue of weary backpackers to handle. Got my room key card within seconds, and headed up to my room. The first thing you'll notice once you're in the door is that the room's pretty narrow (and it has three bunk beds in there) but it wasn't cramped by any means. The beds were incredibly comfy, which helped me get a restful night's sleep before a long flight. The loo was surprisingly clean, too. The only downside was the internet, but only if you were trying to Skype or FaceTime. On the whole, it was pretty good. It's also well located, and I'd probably stay here again sometime, given a choice.

Cool place. You can see that there is an idea and passion to do things right. It´s a hotel + hostel + restaurant + night club and it´s very friendly to the natural enviroment. Rooms are nice, modern, clean and some of them with really great views. Also depends in which building you stay. Service is excellent. Restuarnt is another great experience. Local cuisine is based on modern czech cuisine. They have both vegetarian and normal meals. There are a lot of programs and events in a night club. They play different styles of music, but mainly dance music and they have the karaoke evening every wednesday.

Great hotel! Lots of young travelers, very hip. We knew it was the right spot when our cab driver dropped us off saying, " so you're going to the crazy place?" It's not that bad. They have a bar downstairs and we saw some people making out in the hallways, but what do you expect? It's a hostel. Pro tip -- spring for the penthouse. The view is amazing. They have a buffet breakfast in the am for 7 euro but we opted for the little cafe around the corner, Liberica, so good. Anyway, the mosaic has a cool walking tour everyday at 10:30 am. Our tour guide opened the tour explaining that he forgot his name tag because he didn't stay at his house last night. Yeah he was totally hung over :) cool info about the city and it was a great way to meet other travelers. Highly recommend this place and the free tour!

i was pretty nervous about being able to hear the nightclub from our room but we could not hear a thing! It was a really cool hotel / bar . The atmosphere was really good and the food was yum as well. We had a private room and the beds were single and tiny and not the comfiest, but it was do able. The bathroom looked good but not that practical with the shower, theres no door on it and the water just goes all over the place. The staff here let it down for me greatly. We came down for happy hour and asked for the beers which were on special they then served us about 3 times after that the same beers then when we went to pay for our tab they had not given us the ones on happy hour, when we showed that we were upset by this they pretty much laughed in our face. Its not a huge deal but you don't need to be rude when we did not make the mistake!

Great hostel! Clean and perfect located in Prague. We had a double room with our own bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can join a tip tour through prague. And there is a bar inside, it was good frequented! Nice atmosphere! We will definitely stay at mosaic house our next time in Prague!

Fantastic hostel. More like a hotel, really. Beautiful bathrooms with large rainfall showers, clean comfy beds, and a stylish decor. Despite the often crowded club on the first floor the rooms are quite. We were upgraded to a smaller roomer for no charge upon check in. Tons of locker and cubby space in the rooms, in addition to rentable lockers on the first floor. No towels though, although they're available for purchase at the desk. 15ish minute walk to city center, cool young crowd. Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience with very accommodating staff. Stayed in the private rooms but enjoyed the available common areas that had events every night. The breakfast buffet was lovely with good variety. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The location was okay. Not directly within the most touristy area but only a 15-20 minute walk to the main attractions.

Stayed here a few years ago and I still remember that this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. There was a bar and we did some karaoke. Beds were comfortable. We were in a 6 person dorm and all fit our luggage in there. Would definitely return again!!

So far the cheapest hostel I've ever been to, but one of the most comfortable. I expected more like an army camp for its price, and shocked to be able to compare it to 3 star hotels. Location is right in the town center so people can just walk to the sightseeing places. Best part was the restaurant/bar upstairs with live music every night. Perfect for student backpackers that are trying to meet new people. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I would come back to this hostel every single time.

Even for a hotel this place would be rated 5 stars! This is the nicest hostel I have ever been to and one of the best, too. There is a bar downstairs where you can mingle and hang out with people from all over the world. They also have a DJ some nights and karaoke :) Not only is this place awesome, Prague is too!

Where to start? Ok- its artsy! Points for that! Its full of surprises, great people and events. Worth visiting. If I could, I would live in one of their Penthouses for ever! Great view! Enjoy the 'shrooms :))

Amazing hostel. Clean, centrally located, situated near shops/eateries, and not expensive. The bathrooms were maintained daily and the staff was friendly :)!

Great hostel. Super modern! I loved the beds, the bathrooms (wow), and the drinks and restaurant were delicious. I do wish they would let all guests go to the roof or at least offer an hour or two out of the day for not just the hotel guests but the hostel guests as well. Yes, this place is also a hotel on the upper levels. Highly recommended.

I went there this week with my girlfriend, it was wonderful. Our room was pretty ( the design was great, the bed was comfy ), the staff speak very good english ( unlike me ) and the food downstairs was delicious. It's situated in the center ( 8-9 minutes to the millenium clock ) so it was definitly a good choice for us. I recommand it surely !

Confortable and clean beds, nice bathrooms, great atmosphere and the most surprising of all delicious high quality food. The breakfast is totally worth it, believe me as Mexican I love constantly disappoints of breakfasts in Europe but this one...

good place for a short stay in prague. the staff is very friendly. food is okay, though better restaurants are close by. what you should know: there is a shabby disco called "belushi's" downstairs, which seems like a hot spot for male backpackers on the hunt for youknowwhat. music is loud and cheap...

I picked this place due to the central location to everything including old town Prague and the reviews online but I don't believe it lived up to its hype. The reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is due to its staff who were less than hospitable. This place doubles as a hostel and hotel and has a lounge downstairs and also hosts events upstairs and on the rooftop, it's invite only and how you get invited nobody knows. They charge for simple things like towels (you have to buy them) and make an appointment to do laundry. In addition on our last night here before leaving for the airport we had to hear them blast their horrid karaoke until 3am.....ear plugs did not help and mind you this was a Wednesday night. Don't stay here if you value sleep, their signs of "be quite after 10pm" is a sham a complete Sham. Their staffs are less than helpful answering every question as if you're causing them the biggest grievance by talking to them, and if you sit down to order at the lounge you better pray to baby Jesus first that one of the waitresses will bother with you. Their only saving grace is the bartender Lucia, she makes a mad cocktail and is very friendly.
