Mosaicos Barcelona & Trencadís MOSAICCOS

We had an amazing experience at Mosaicos Barcelona & Trencadís MOSAICCOS! Our instructor, Melissa, was absolutely wonderful — warm, funny, and incredibly helpful throughout the class. She made learning Gaudí’s Trencadís mosaic technique both fun and inspiring. The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, and we left with beautiful handmade pieces and a deeper appreciation for Barcelona’s artistic heritage. This class is a must-do for anyone visiting the city and looking for a truly authentic and hands-on cultural experience. Highly recommend!

A wonderful, warm welcome from Martina set the tone for our three hour trencadis (Gaudí style mosaic) experience. Even as we were running out of time for our ambitious pieces, we were given a helping hand and a grace period to finish up. It's a strong recommendation from us for a fun family activity to do together in Barcelona. We could collect the final piece, prepped and packaged, the next day.

If you want a one-of-a-kind, truly special souvenir, I highly recommend this experience. I was a bit worried because I’m not very good with my hands, but the final result turned out beautifully. To be honest, I didn’t really like my work before it was finished — even the person sitting at the same table didn’t bother to take a photo of it! 🥲 But when I saw the completed piece the next day, I was genuinely impressed and very satisfied. Sophia, the instructor, gave me lots of kind advice and help throughout the process. Thank you so much! The main theme of my work was my cat (Nabi), and she seems to like it too. They also wrapped the piece very carefully, so I could bring it home safely without any damage. Someday, when the Sagrada Família is finally completed, I plan to visit Barcelona again — and I’ll definitely come back here to make another piece. You can pick up your finished work the next day, so make sure to leave some extra time in your schedule.

We had a memorable experience making jewellery in Barcelona! Our instructor was a friendly young Turkish woman who helped us through the tricky task of crafting glass mosaic earrings. She was attentive and friendly - we really enjoyed chatting with her! The earrings turned out great!

This was such a fun activity! I would recommend doing at least the two hour class, but if you have time do the longer one. I did the two hour and wish I had more time, but the instructores were extremely helpful and didn’t rush us out. It was really enjoyable to create and makes you appreciate the beautiful craftsmanship in Barcelona.

Such a wonderful and different sort of experience. We had gone to Park Guell earlier in the day and had Gaudi fresh in our minds. We did the two hour experience which is fantastic for your first time doing Trencadis Mosaic work. The staff is incredibly friendly and encouraging, in appropriate ways each for myself, my wife, our 11 year old son, and 7 year old daughter. While it seems quite expensive, it is very worth it. We all loved the ability to create our own piece, choose colors, use the tools, and assemble the piece. They even helped, under our direction, with the completion of my piece when I was nearing the end of our time there. Great for families, couples, or individuals! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the mosaic experience with our two kids! We booked an hour-long session, but it lasted a bit longer, which was a lovely surprise. Melissa, who guided us through the process, was absolutely fantastic. She explained everything clearly and was so helpful throughout the entire experience. Her ability to connect with both kids and adults made it even more enjoyable. The owner was also there, and she was such a lovely lady! Her warmth and welcoming presence added a special touch to the experience. The whole family loved the activity—it’s creative, fun, and a great way to spend quality time together.
