Moselschlösschen (Traben-Trarbach, Rheinland-Pfalz) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Moselschlösschen is a historical hotel in a wonderful location directly on the Moselpromenade. The rooms are tasteful and upmarket, while the restaurant is modern and elegant with a light and airy orangery. For events, there is also the Säulenkeller cellar, which dates back to 1754, the Tafelkunst cookery school and a wine shop." - Tablet Hotels

If you're looking to forget about every day life this is the place to go. We stayed in the newly renovated part of the building, with easy access to the spa and garden. The full package with breakfast and dinner made for a careless existence. The only thing to worry about is whether you want another massage. Dip in the pool or nap in a quiet room after a steam. The personnel is super friendly and professional at the same time. Don't expect an haute cuisine culinary experience but the food is good for the price and the wine list is extensive with some great options. The cocktail bar is a very fun spot to end your evening. Beautiful surroundings that are enchanting.

Fantastic experience. Great food and wine, very friendly staff, and a nice spa and gardens. The town is nice too, especially if you like wine. Boat excursions leave daily from both sides of the river. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, fabulous ambiance and a fantastic combination of charm & professionalism, extremely romantic as well as modern plus extraordinary comfort. The Main Reception ist 5 star service. Brilliant cuisine and helpful service. Rooms are very clean and stylish (some more additional hooks in/at the wall in bathroom and entrance space would be nice.

Just got back from a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The first thing to say is that the customer service could not have been better. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The spa facilities are gorgeous and wonderfully kept. I had two treatments, very relaxing. The food and wine was delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We’ve previously visited as a couple and had a lovely time. The best thing was the consistency of the experience, it was always good. Unfortunately the hotel is having staffing issue which spoiled the stay. This was a working vacation, and so I was also disappointed to get a dark room with no view and no AC - Not a good start.||Every day my dinner was rushed. Over the course of 1 week, on 3 occasions I had all 3 courses brought to me inside 25 mins. When I complained the restaurant said no managers were on duty. I eventually spoke to the overall manager several times. Things didn’t improve.||I stayed for a week, and planned a spa treatment each day. Some were excellent, some were plain awful. The inconsistency was just so frustrating.||At the end of the week I sat down with the manager to explain my concerns, especially valid as we had 2 bookings coming up as a couple. He assured me he would get back to me and address the issues, he never did.||We’ve now cancelled all our plans to return. It’s very sad, we feel we’ve lost a friend, but it’s just too bad that the hotel can’t secure the right staff to uphold the standard it aims for.||We wish them all the best.

Absolutely perfect one night stay. Suites are stunning with a view straight over the Mosel and across the bridge to the town. Gym facilities and pool all top quality, only slight disappointment was sauna not being open before 11am. Service was incredibly friendly and all the amenities you could ever need.

Sat on the riverside terrace, very lovely to be fair. Took a while to get served, staff on duty went from 1 to 3 suddenly so someone came to our table. A few nice things on the menu but zero vegan options including the potato soup. We were hungry and could not eat, had a drink and left. Surely the folks running this smart running place could offer something 🤔?

Nestled beneath the vineyards, the Moselle river and the quaint alleys of Traben-Trarbach, this charming escape offers everything and more one could ask for when seeking the perfect weekend - or more long-term - getaway. The rooms were cozy, spacious and well-equipped, with splendid views. Staff was absolutely dedicated and always friendly, doing their best to accommodate their guests' wishes. With breakfast and dinner included, and sweet as well as savoury snacks being provided in the extensive, modern and well-maintained spa area throughout the day, one barely had to leave the building. If you do, look no further than Angelika's wine tavern right next to the main building, where your first drink will be on the house. Vegetarian food options at any time of the day were available, although not always particularly refined. Additionally some vegan options at the breakfast buffet and on the dinner menue would be an asset.
