Mosjøen Hotel

During my trip in Norway, I got stranded in Mosjøen. Got welcomed by the hotel owner en he was very friendy. They offered great food, great hospitality and helped with the smallest requests, like a small pin for the mobile phone as such. The hotel doesn't have the nicest view, but is very clean. The receptionist did even speak Dutch to some extend, so that was very unique.

Great stay. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Small room is booked as a single. Makes for a nice walk around the city, including oldest wooden houses in Norway. Enjoyed my stay . Right off the highway but quiet

The rooms are clean and looks nice. It's a nice size TV om the room, and you get a key to the front door if you want to stay out late.|Mosjøen Hotell is placed in walking distance from the city center, and just beside E6. That makes it extremely easy to find, and you hear little or no noise from the road.|In the prize you get an afternoon meal and a breakfast the next morning, which makes this one of the best offerings around.|The staff working here is just fantastic. Service minded, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They do all they can to make you as a guest feel welcome. Actually, it's not often I have met staff more friendly in all the years I have been living in hotels.||This is a hotel I can recommend of all my heart - and I'm sure visitors will have a nice stay. If you need anything, or wonder about anything in the area - ask the staff; and it's pretty much done :)

Of all the hotels we stayed at during our road trip, this was my favourite. The price included dinner and breakfast and both of which were pretty good. The price and hence value for money was excellent. It is almost opposite the railway station so if you were travelling by train, it is only a short walk across the road. There is also a car park. The staff were excellent and recommended places to see locally (which we did).

This is a basic, functional, no frills hotel for when you just want a hot shower and a solid roof over your head. The rooms utilitarian, they do what rooms are supposed to do and that's about it. Some of the bathrooms in the standard rooms may need some updating, but they're clean and the water pressure is good. ||One of the perks of this place is they serve you a buffet dinner, included in the price of your stay. The buffet is basic and mainly cold-cuts, but there is always one hot option, and they put out homemade cookies and cakes for dessert. ||If you're a weary traveler and you don't need anything fancy, then this is the place for you.

In my opinion this is amongst the best places to stay at if you're planning to visit Mosjøen. The staff is friendly, the building and rooms have recently been renovated and are all modern and comfortable. Warm supper is served which often is complemented by home made style cookies.

Nice refurished hotel. Don’t let the exterior folk you, the rooms are nicely decorated. We only stayed one night, but got a tasty and warm evening meal. Breakfast was also nice. All in all, a good place to stay!

The hotel is certainly a bit worn-down, but that matters little to comfort as far as I'm concerned. The breakfast is below average for Norwegian hotels, but most definitely serviceable. The free dinner buffet in the evenings is a big plus for sure. Friendly staff. Showers are nice. My biggest complaint would be that room service turns the toilet roll to face the wrong way every day!
