Mosselen Belgian Beer Café

This Belgian restaurant feels very authentic. Its decor and vibe are already so welcoming. The food is honestly great. Mussels in creamy broth brought me right back to Brussels. I also loved the crusty sea bass, perfectly cooked, with tasty polenta and fresh salad. The chocolate mousse is a must-try—simply go for it. Service is friendly and attentive, with staff knowing the menu inside out. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A fantastic Belgian beer drinking environment accompanied by an extensive and varied food menu. Knowledgable staff including Thomas who suggested their favourite dishes and recommended a path of beers to take to make the most of our visit. Will 100% be back on my next visit to Budapest!

This place is great 👍. The food was amazing. My son and I both had steak and it was the best ever! Great choice of beers and reasonably priced. Will be the first place we go when back in Budapest!

Well, it is a Belgian beer pub with a lot of good beers. Although most are 3dl puurs which is the small. The ambiance is nice. We had 2 soups which were good, although it could have been warmer. But the real issue is the price. For 2 small beers and 2 soups we payed more than 10KFts which is about US prices but you get a normal size beer in other countries. This place is way overpriced.

First time visit in this pricey restaurant, and a good experience overall. The food was great, tasty, and portions were sufficient, although I'm not in my twenties anymore, so even smaller portions suffice. Good selection of Belgian beers, especially bottled, the variety on tap is significantly smaller. Good atmosphere and very nice service. The acces to the toilets is horrible, one has to literally squeeze through tables and chairs that almost touch when occupied.

Lovely experience, very pleasant staff, and great food. Plus points for the up-to-date menu and reflection on the presence.

This place was a total hit with our group! Everyone enjoyed their beers, main dishes and the delicious goulash soup. The waiter was very friendly too. Definitely recommend this place to any of my friends traveling to Budapest.
