Nagyon élvezem a legtöbb, és ez így van a környékünkön. Határozottan várom, hogy így, hogy egy szabályos brunch helyét, és hogy néhány barátja a jövőben vacsorára.
Just 150 meters down Zichy Jenő from the busy Bajcsy-Zsilinkszky út, Most Bistro is a restaurant you could miss if you don't know to look for it. The menu reminds me of a school newspaper. It's fun and creative and includes both Hungarian and English text.
Food is prepared fresh and features pasta, fish, burgers, and Hungarian traditional meals. I was excited to find a vegan burger option for dinner which features large slices of smoked smearcase cheese (pressed cottage cheese in thick slicesh), lettuce, tomato, pickles, and fresh crispy onion.
I also recently returned for Sunday brunch and ordered the goat cheese and spinach omelet with brand potatoes. Brunch includes an entrée with cocktail and dessert for 1800-2000 Ft. The preparation and plating were outstanding for a brunch menu. The accompanying Bloody Mary was a perfect blend of spice and acidity and complimented the heaviness of the omelet and potatoes quite well.
For dessert I chose the cheesecake with forest berries, which was so creamy and light - a perfect consistency and flavor. I haven't experienced such a lovely cheesecake like this before, nor am I eager to ever eat commercial cheesecake which is often too dense and too sweet.
I also had an Americano coffee which was beautifully crested with foam and had a rich and inviting flavor with a smooth finish.
For both visits I found the portions to be generous but not overwhelming. Bring a good appetite and you will be satisfied.
The restaurant is well decorated and features small 2-tops as well as long tables fit for work parties. There were three or four large groups dinning with us and a mixture of couples and smaller parties during dinner. For brunch, the room is a bit quieter and we saw some families arrive with children. One family with an infant was seated in a side room.
The room temperature was quite warm during the dinner course as the restaurant was very full. There are plenty of coat hooks around the room, so be ready to shed a couple outer layers if you prefer to feel cooler. During brunch, the room was a bit emptier, and I found the temperature to be a bit more pleasant.
The service has been pleasant and attentive for both visits. The experience was a little more interactive during brunch with a quieter room. Both times, the food was served hot and in a reasonable time.
I really enjoy Most and it's right in my neighborhood. I definitely look forward to making it a regular brunch location and bring some friends in the future for dinner.
