Mostschenke im Heustadl Restaurant & Heuriger

Amazing place with excellent service and delicious traditional food. The ambience is nice designed with different areas for seating. For kids there is a spacious garden area with a small playground on the backside as well. Mostly visited by locals I would recommend a reservation especially during weekends. Will surely come back again on my next trip to Ebensee!

A very magical space to eat. Beautiful atmosphere, garden spaces and a little playground for children. Made it easy for our children to enjoy playing and exploring while we sat waiting for our food. The wait staff were the owners of the restaurant and this is also their home, you can tell they take great pride in all aspects of the dining experience here.

Very good traditional Austrian food. The place is very cozy and has an old vintage feel. Unfortunately very long waiting time for food although there were not that many people. What is more we were waited by 3 different waiters, and didn’t feel like we were super welcomed there.

Absolutely magical place! Service is excellent, waiters are professional, enjoying their jobs and exceptionally well mannered. Food was great and very fairly priced, beer and wine also very tasty, self-made cakes were great too, especially Cardinal one - sooo good! The atmosphere is incredible - many locals, kids running around and playing together, a random cat passing a path. Very peaceful, if we could we would've spent the whole night there just sitting and chatting.

Traditional Austrian food which isn’t particularly healthy but great vibe inside and out if you eat there then prepare for fried food.

Lovely yard, but that's all I can say, as this seems to be the only place in Austria where your dog is not welcome in a garden.

Excellent meal and service. All 3 servers were attentive and friendly. Not many tourist and a very local joint.
