A must-try in Hoi An! If you see a huge line on the busy streets of Hoi An, especially during summer, you've probably found Mót Hội An. Trust me, the wait is worth it. This herbal drink is absolutely refreshing on a hot day. Not only does it taste great, but it looks beautiful too - the colors are so vibrant and Instagram-worthy. The vendors are super friendly and helpful. There's a small seating area if you want to sit and enjoy your drink, but I recommend getting it to go and wandering through the streets while you sip. It's the perfect way to cool down while browsing the shops. Quick tips: Bring cash - it's faster and easier. Also, don't be shy about asking for no ice if you prefer it that way. They're happy to customize it for you. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

My husband and I had heard about Mot Hoi An. We are so glad we found it while wandering through the old town. The herbal tea is served cold and Wow we LOVED it!! It was sweet and refreshing and tasted between passion fruit and lemon grass. The straw was actually a bamboo straw:) It’s a cute spot for pictures as we saw many young ladies dressed in pretty dresses.

A refreshing local drink for just 18K VND—great value for money. The taste is unique: it’s neither flowery nor reminiscent of lemongrass, and while I can’t quite pinpoint the flavor, it’s definitely not bad at all - no English menu. The amount of ice was just right. I joined the queue as the fourth customer today—service moved along quickly, though your wait time often depends on how fast the people ahead can sort out their cash. Compared to the long line I noticed last night (packed with tourists), it’s clear this place is popular. Keep in mind, this shop is cash-only. I snagged one of the seats inside, but honestly, it’s better as a walk-and-drink option—the cup was gone in five sips (even after photos and video)!

If you haven’t had an icy cold herbal tea from Mót Hội An, have you even been to Hội An? This little spot is iconic for a reason. The flavour of the tea is hard to pin down — herbal in the best way, with hints of lemongrass and maybe even a little passionfruit. Whatever the secret recipe is, it’s absolutely delicious and incredibly refreshing, especially on a hot day. It’s also one of the prettiest drinks you’ll find — beautifully presented and definitely Instagram-worthy. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself going back for a second one. A must-try experience right in the heart of Hội An’s old town.

Mót Hội An is one of those rare hidden gems that effortlessly captures the essence of Hội An’s charm. Located near the ancient town’s bustling streets, this quaint little herbal tea shop offers a refreshing and authentic local experience that stands out amid the tourist buzz. The star of the show is undoubtedly their herbal drink, made from a traditional recipe combining lemongrass, lime, lotus leaf, licorice, and other aromatic herbs. Served in a bamboo cup with a lotus petal garnish, it’s not just a drink—it’s an experience. The flavors are light, slightly sweet, and incredibly soothing, especially in the tropical heat of central Vietnam. What makes Mót even more special is its aesthetic presentation and street-side vibe. The setup is small but beautiful, often decorated with fresh flowers and traditional elements, making it a favorite spot for photos. Even though the space is limited, the line moves quickly, and the staff is always welcoming and polite. At around 15,000–20,000 VND (less than $1), it’s also one of the best-value experiences in Hội An. Whether you’re looking for a break from sightseeing or a unique taste of local culture, Mót is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hội An. Don’t miss it!

The signature drink is refreshing and worth trying especially on a hot day. It's a blend of complicated flavours and tastes unique. The taufufa with ginger brown sugar sauce was really good. I tried mi quang and cao lau but it's not really to my liking, probably personal preference. Fried spring rolls was not bad too, just small portion. Prices are reasonable (1 noodles around 55k) and there are some sitting inside.

The herbal tea here is really tasty and super refreshing — exactly what you need in Hoi An’s heat! But to be honest… it’s super crowded and a bit overrated. Nice to try once, but I wouldn’t wait in line for it

The herbal drink was a bit hard to enjoy for me since I’m not used to herbal flavors, but the place is really beautiful! Even though it’s crowded, the staff make drinks super fast. A lovely local spot to experience the vibe of Hội An. 🌸✨
