Motel 98

When I travel to Rockhampton I need a motel with a pool, we booked our accommodation through the motel so spoke with reception when booking. At know time was I told that the pool was out of service. Stayed for 3 nights then asked for a refund for the 4 th night and got knocked back so had to stay the 4th night. Room was adequate but broken tiles and mold in the bathroom .No toaster aloud in room. Bed hard, pillows flat. Holiday ruined by the fact we couldn’t chill out in the pool every afternoon.

We were not told the pool was out of service the whole pool area looked like it had not been used for some time and when I come to Rocky I need a pool absolutely ruined my holiday. We asked for a refund for the last day and were denied |Hard bed, flat pillows, noisey rooms can hear running water and toilets in room above.

My husband and I booked for 3 nights originally but after the first night I was admitted to hospital so he had to extend our stay for 3 more nights. The Manager and staff went out of their way to ensure my husband had a room for the extra nights. They provided care and support to my husband throughout my hospital stay, so we highly recommend Motel 98, great Restaurant, beautiful staff and there is even an EV charger located in the carpark for guests to use. Thank you all for going the extra mile for us..

First, during check-in, the staff only needed to verify my ID and possibly the debit card used for payment. However, the attendant started typing numbers from my card, and I had to stop them since my details were clearly visible and matching. Second, the room’s condition was poor — there was a ceiling leak in the bathroom and visible mold, suggesting it had been there for some time. Third, the checkout process was confusing. The reception and front doors were locked, and I almost missed my taxi waiting for someone to come and collect the key. Lastly the room had a bad smell, not sure how the do their cleaning. Despite these issues, I believe they’re all fixable and can be improved

We enjoyed a great meal at Motel 98 Skyring. The food was great and the service was exceptional.

The food, cocktails, and the service were amazing. We were offered their entree that they were just trialling, and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was definitely prepared with perfection 👌 We would highly recommend Motel 98

Pool is unusable, full off dirt slim and bat feces. Staff difficult to communicate with if you could find them. Room clean enough, but dated, and smelt of mold. A complete juxtaposition to the attached restaurant which was quite fancy and very expensive.

Absolutely terrible, run down motel. |Dirty, mould, no water pressure, noisy.|While check in was easy and the bed was comfortable that’s where the good things stopped.

Skyrings and Motel 98 - 5 stars Great service, great food, great drinks, great accommodation

A tidy well maintained motel with friendly and helpful staff. Average size room equipped with all that you will require. The king size bed is a treat and very comfortable. Rain showerheads are amazing.
