Great service and rooms! The exposed walls and interiors provide a very rustic charm whilst retaining the modern amenities and feel. Fantastic location with proximity to the coastal areas, the golf club, wineries & estates, farms and the hot springs. Many tourist activities are within a 10 min to 15 min drive from the motel. In addition to that, pricing is very affordable and worth it 👌🏼 Brand new, must check it out for sure!

While the motel is dated and in need of quite a few maintenance improvements (couldn’t lock our door, fan in bathroom was loader than a space shuttle launch - Room 21) it was comfortable and well appointed. Possible needs a bit of a spring clean as cob webs in each corner of the room. Bed and pillow super comfortable. Great location at the end of the Main Street and directly across from Flinders Hotel. Mid range price but not too many other choices in area.

Wonderful accommodation, generous sized room. Everything including TV and remote etc. It's a older type motel with exposed bricks but it offers great view located on the 1st floor. The staff who are employed there look happy. And guess what it is cheap. I was not my intention but it is centrally located, across the road from Flinders Hotel (must visit, amazing gin selection). It's a quick walk to the pier and close to all shops

Flinders cove was conveniently located near the beach, with only a 500m walk. For $200 a night, I got my money's worth, but for people looking for a more luxurious, expensive trip you might want to reconsider your options. As I stated, the location is conveniently located near the beach, as well as all the nearby stores and restaurants, even a pub across the road which I'm sure all you readers will love! The motel was dog friendly, which was a huge advantage as I wanted to take my dog with me. I hugely appreciated how the motel was dog friendly. There's even a dog friendly beach nearby! However, the rooms need a renovation. It has an 80's look to it, it has a noisy air conditioning unit, and even one of those radio/alarms built into the bedside desk identical to one from the 80's. Those were the only negative points about it, but overall I didn't end up regretting my stay, and it was alright.

Yes, the 'KELLY'S' stayed here at the Flinders Cove Motel and opposite the Flinders Hotel!!! The rooms were excellent and with a very pressured hot shower water pressure too!!! The two sisters paid for my $26.00 3 small caviar scallops entree at the Flinders Hotel!!! So, the living environment there in Flinders was excellent and the people with the 2 buskers was fun as they played their musical instruments of a violin and such so my donation to the both of them was most welcomed!!!

Having breakfast at George's cafe on site|We called in to ask for a ground floor as we were staying there for one night that afternoon. Wonderful we were told we could have the key now at 9.20am.|A sigh of relief we returned to the Flinders Hotel and packed. The rooms are so quiet |beds fantastic for sleeping, nice two pillows each. Fridge, kettle, toaster a TV |That worked as hotel one did not. |Back door which had wire for that nice sea breeze and seating for two enclosed so your own space. They have a pool we did not use it but it looked OK. BBQ area with seating. |And best of all late checkout which we needed after visiting the many wineries|On the beautiful Mornington peninsula

Maintenance is an issue. Room we chose was ok but in need of repairs. Tidiness was not the best and cleanliness could have been better.||The pool area was just dreadful, was very run down and in our opinion not remotely usable. It had fallen into bad disrepair. Pool surrounds were run down and extremely dirty. Pot planters were being used as rubbish bins and had not been emptied in some considerable time. We didn't feel that the pool was clean enough to be safe to use. The sauna room was being used dump old furnishings. The spa had a make-shift set of controls setup that did not look safe to use. There was considerable water damage and mildew on the brickwork walls, cobwebs, etc - the extensive list of how awful it is, goes on - look at the photos we have shared.||The staff at reception were friendly but that does not make up for the poor condition of the place. We made the best of our stay but won't be returning until they renovate the place - Very sad to see as we used to stay at this motel many years ago when it was in much better condition.

There was a freshly used tampon in the bed linen from the "clean" room we were given. The manager, Cathy, was very rude and unapologetic saying "oh well" and blaming it on short staffing, arguing with me when I said I was beyond disgusted and told me "whatever, just take the keys to the new room and leave". The room also had a dirty bin, ants all over the table and a spider on the curtains. Management later decided to offer us a refund, but she ended up charging us twice for the room instead- then told us she actually doesnt know how to do a refund!!! We had to wait until her husband returned from golf that evening so he could fix the mess she had made.
