motel Mi Pi CHi

It was a great pleasure staying at this great intimate facility. The staff were all friendly, going out of their way to make my stay great. The place is close to shops (small supermarkets around the corner on the main street) and Campus Square. It is easily accessible and very private for those quiet moments when as a guest you want to rest or do some work. Thank you to all the staff at MI PI CHI. This was a recommendation by a friend. It shall go on my go to place whenever I visit Johannesburg.

It was a good place to stay. Very convenient as it's right on the road and yet quiet. The pillows are a bit flat and could be changed. I loved the upgrade to a bigger room with an interesting bathroom area....you need to visit you to know what I'm talking about. Mi Pi Chi is a true reflection of what they show on the website. Generally, a place worth a second visit, and whatever was amiss, Ma Virginia made it all right. She's an asset to that place.

A safe and very clean accomodation in Melville. Very nice interior. Friendly welcoming. Good location, Authentic and charming area.

We had a warm welcome to Johannesburg and felt immediately comfortable at Motel MiPiChi. The room was clean and nice designed. We also liked the kitchen and lounge, although we didn’t take advantage of it. It definitely is a place to stay. Unfortunately the part of town Melville doesn’t have too much to offer.

I would have given 0 stars We booked at Mi Pi Chi for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were sent to another property around the corner that was an absolute nightmare. The accommodation were a disaster - old and dirty with just a bath and not even a shower in this day and age. But the cherry on top was the owner's attitude. When we tried to bring some of these issues to her attention, we were met with a dismissive shrug and a not my problem attitude. When we asked for a refund, she became downright belligerent and refused to refund our money. The owner wanted to force us to stay in a place that we have not booked, this messy and smelly place was not on the images on booking.com, so this is false advertising. Be careful people! We had to phone bookings.com and they were kind enough to book us into a different place. Avoid this dump at all cost. I should have taken pictures to share with everyone, there are much nicer places around the corner.

I love this place I mean it is in a very nice neighborhood,fastest WiFi I've ever seen,nicest manager ever,super clean and you get your own apartment our's have 3 bedrooms and 1 spacious bathroom. There is house keeping every single day. Well done mi pi chi

Motel Mi Pi Chi is a charming boutique-style motel that exceeded our expectations! The rooms are not only cute but also spacious and impeccably clean. Being within walking distance of the market and small stores is a bonus. The fully-equipped common area kitchen was a pleasant surprise, and it was spotless. Our room was a highlight, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. On our first night, when we realized we left one of our passports over 7 hours away in our last lodge, a member of their team went above and beyond to explore various options to try and help us retrieve it. Outstanding service and a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Motel MiPiChi was fantastic. Virginia was amazing and so helpful with answering all our questions. Tyson helped us feel safe every time we stepped out of the building. All these extra services provided by the lovely staff at Motel MiPiChi is what sets this place apart and made our stay thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks again Virginia, Miriam and Tyson!
