Good value. Very friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable yet tight (storing luggage and clothes of two persons needs tetris skills). Surprisingly quiet regarding noise from inside and outside the building. Breakfast average at best (i.e. lacking fish and any warm components), then again not too expensive.

We came in Late at night from a concert in Brussels. The road was icy and too dangerous to drive. We called and got a room for a good price. When we went to the room it had one small bed and we asked and immediately got a room with a bigger bed with no extra charges. Very understanding people. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Very luxurious feeling. The woman behind the counter even gave us toothbrushes, eye masks and asked us if we wanted some water bottles. Very good service. Very nice rooms. We felt blessed with her friendliness after the cold and ice derailed our journey a bit. Thank you so much. ||Definitally a place ill remember and i can tell you its a nice place to be.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and offered plenty of space, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxed. The soundproofing worked very well, since I did not notice any noise from neighbouring rooms or from the street. This created a very quiet environment that was easy to rest in. The staff were consistently helpful and attentive whenever I needed anything. Breakfast was also very good, with quality food that added to the overall positive experience. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

Me and my wife booked this hotel for a city break in Belgium and we were not disappointed at all by this place. The hotel is very well located for both metro and train access, the room was very clean and we had a nice view from the window. The breakfast was limited but very tasty. The service from the reception was friendly and helpful. The only downside I would say is the room size, but considering we barely stayed in the room, it wasn't an issue. A drawer and minifridge would also help. We totally recommend this place

December 2025 5* This is my second stay at this property. Last time I stayed in September 2025. Hotel is located very close to EU Headquarters and other key places. There are lots of shops and restaurants around so big plus on location. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Rooms has good natural light and can have good inside view. Washrooms are clean and modern. Hotel offer daily room service which is good. Staff is quite helpful and courteous. The hotel is busy so make sure to book in advance. Restaurant is located on basement level. Also there is open area in the centre. It is quite nice during summer. The place is also fully accessible. September 2025 5*

Pretty close to ideal. Clean, comfy, quiet, good location close to the central station and short walk to the centre and other attractions. There was an odd smell in the bathroom (possibly the drains? As everything else looked clean). I propped open the bathroom door for airflow and it improved.

We stayed whilst visiting the Christmas market and given the time of year it was very good value. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, first impressions are important and the receptionist was brilliant.|Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality.|The rooms compact but were exceptionally clean and there was enough space for what we needed, the shower was lovely.|The only slight downside was the walk back uphill after visiting the centre, it wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for less mobile people.

Tanguy was absolutely wonderful! He was super kind, incredibly helpful, and very efficient. My girlfriend and I received such pleasant attention throughout our visit. We are so happy with the experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Yelp
A typical European hotel. Small rooms, smaller bathrooms, as is the usual. The staff was accommodating and willing to offer suggestions for breakfast and other meals since the hotel has no actual restaurant. A drawback in my opinion. This location is close to many restaurants and close to tourist spots in the central part of the city. We had an issue with the linen on one of the beds and they immediately corrected it and offered an unnecessary compensation. It's a good hotel and reasonably priced. Worth investigating if you're looking for a hotel in Brussels.

Yelp
Close to everything, small rooms but there's a nice back area and low key bar. Can only quibble about there not being a mini fridge.

Yelp
The name can be deceiving. I was expecting a shack on the side of the highway pretty much. This was so far the nicest hotel we stayed in. They have a huge building, several floors, and many rooms. They have an organic breakfast apparently, not sure if I will get a chance to check it out or not. They are eco friendly and you can decide if you would like to have cleaning or not. Would stay again another time.

Yelp
I was really impressed with Hotel One. Based on the name, I wasn't expecting very much, but I was (happily) proven wrong. Breakfast was truly exceptional. I most enjoyed the coffee machine, which also had hot chocolate. There was a good variety of foods available, all fresh and plentiful. Very clean establishment, with daily maid service. My room was small but as it was for one person and I was on a business trip, I found it more than sufficient. A comfortable mattress and pillows, along with light darkening curtains, ensured I slept well every night. The bar was a nice option and the hot chocolate I ordered after being out one rainy night really hit the spot!

Yelp
Very good located Hotel in the city of Brussels ! Motel One is a german hotel chain with very basic rooms. BUT very clean, nicely decorated and always a fix price. I especially like the fix price. The rooms are small but OK for a city trip. YOu even have a TV. I wouldn't stay longer then 2 - 3 days. Then it's really getting too small. But for short term it's perfect. The one here in brussels is really good located. In the heart of brussels. 5 - 10 min walk and you are at he main square. The staff is friendly and the hotel is brand new. So really nice. The breakfast is only 7.5 Euro a person and you have more then enough at the buffet. If you're visiting Brussels I really would recommend this hotel !!!

Yelp
This hotel was great! Location was nice, being only a 10 minute walk from the grand place and the central train station. It's a little less touristy too, so we had a pretty quiet and easy stay! The staff was helpful with our questions too. Yes the rooms are smaller compared to some in the U.S., but we found it clean and comfortable and not as tiny as we were expecting! FYI - the king bed is just two twins pushed together. Breakfast was pretty sufficient too and a decent price for a variety of options.

Yelp
Looking to stay in Brüssels? This hotel gets you the best bang for your buck. English speaking staff at reception were kind and courteous. Our room was nice and clean. Small, and basic rooms rooms are affordably priced for being a five minute walk from the heart of the city. You are surrounded by shops, restaurants, and historic buildings. The bar/lounge is open 24/7. European breakfast buffet with cold-cut style meats and cheeses, breads, fresh fruit and yogurt. Don't expect American style breakfast staples like bacon and scrambled eggs. But they have juice and the coffee is great too. Be upfront with how many guests will be staying with you and book on the hotels own website for the best price. I stayed here in late November so we didn't go out to the courtyard but it looks like it would be a nice place to relax in the summer.

Yelp
I think this hotel's model is interesting, seems a great addition to the city, and looks to be very successful. Some thoughts in bullets below. Awesome: - Cheap! I stayed for 5 nights at an average of under 100 euro a night (conference rate.) - Brand new, opened this year. Decor is great. I love the great big lobby area with a (digital) fireplace, big couches, carpets... you feel comfortable. - Service staff have been very nice. - Location is great. 10 min walk to the train station, SQUARE meeting center, the Grand Place, etc. Beware though: The "motel" concept means that (while it's new and pretty) it's low-service, no frills. This means... - Bring your own conditioner, body lotion, etc. (there was a combo shampoo/body wash) - No room service; no real restaurant - only light buffet breakfast and snack/coffee/drinks service downstairs. - No coffee or tea or water or minibar in the room -- but who uses the minibar? - No staff (besides maids) come up to the rooms -- so no valet or bellboys, no delivery of anything you need. - No concierge - Actually worst of all and something they can easily fix: It took me a day and a half to get ahold of an iron and ironing board and I felt pressured to give it back ASAP. If they want to succeed with business travelers, hopefully they order some more ASAP so everyone can have one... but in the meantime just make sure you have at least one iron-free outfit! So, for this particular trip, where I didn't have late nights and wasn't worried about room service, this was a great option. I would recommend it -- with the above qualification of expectations!

Yelp
Stayed one night at this hotel during a business trip this week. It's location is absolutely perfect for both business and leisure. It is within walking distance to the European quarters, but als within short distance of the city centre and other attractive parts of Brussels. It is well connected to public transport (train/tram). The look and feel of the hotel is warm and modern. Service was impeccible. I checked in at 9.00 AM and they had a room available for me. The next day I could easily stall my luggage untill I left Brussels around 5 PM. The room was very small, but clean and good looking. A relatively simple breakfast was included in my booking (which I didn't make myself). Think: bread, pastries, some variety in cheeses/ham/turkey/tomatoes/cucumber, coffee/tea/orange-lemonade. Good enough to get you going! The only thing I missed were some proper toiletries. They offer shampoo/bodywash, but it would have been nice to have conditioner and a nice soap as well.

Yelp
I had a great experience with the receptionist during check-in. He was patient, kind and responsive to our group of university students. Unfortunately the good news stops there. No hot food on the breakfast menu (not even a toaster for the bread) and the drink server at the bar across from the reception area was pretty much an ass-hole.

Yelp
Utterly appalling and unacceptable. Essentially a glorified youth hostel. Fine print charges bizarrely include paying extra per person in the manner of a youth hostel. Rude service unwilling to be helpful or engage. Tiny rooms with refurbishment barely hiding the dated decor of the place. Musty corridors and worn carpet completes the picture. Avoid if possible.

Yelp
Welcoming reception, nice lobby, comfort room. Very good location and easy to explore the sightseeing spots in the city. Only one tiny problem, the bed's occupying quite some space in the room which leads to limited space for luggage in a standard room, you may find it quite tight if you have a 30-inch suitcase with you, however, the big bed is quite comfortable :)

Yelp
Great hotel close to the heart of Brussels! The hotel is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions and a metro stop is conveniently located about a block away. The man working the front desk at my check in was kind and even offered to show me a few sites on a map. My room was clean and modern. Great value for the price! I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brussels.

Yelp
Looking for a hotel for a 3 day trip to Brussels it is kind of hard to find a modern hotel that is situated in the heart of the city that is not extremely expensive. Luckily, this Motel One matched all these criteria. Situated only 5-10 (walking) minutes away from the central station and the royal palace its location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the city. The rooms are small but modern and everything is absolutely clean. While booking I requested a room facing the inner courtyard as I was afraid a street-facing room might be too loud, and I got the quietest room I've probably ever had at any hotel! I arrived far too early and the woman at the reception desk told me that I could have another room right away or get the courtyard-facing-room at a high floor at the appointed check-in time. In general I was really pleased with the service and everyone was exceptionally friendly. The only downside I could find is that the air-conditioning cools the bathroom down a bit too much. I also didn't find any soap but only shampoo and shower gel.
