Mother Dough Bakery

Came here after the cafe was featured on Inga Lam’s Singapore Vlog. The staff here was very friendly and helpful, giving a thorough explanation of all the baked goods that they were selling. Bought a coffee and wanted to get baked goods mid afternoon but they were mostly sold out by then. Will be back to try them next time!

We visited several bakeries in Singapore during our trip but I think this is the best place. We found this place on google maps on our last day. And I feel lucky that we dropped by. They have outstanding pastries. I’ve never had such amazing cinnamon roll. The staff are friendly. And the shop was so cozy.

Oomphhhhhh mama I’m thankful to be brought here 🥹 the service was great the lady was friendly from the start and helpful with sharing with us what on the menu was what. Anyway we got a cake and a chicken & cassava puff turnover and good lord of pastry the puff was whoooaaaa babe I wasn’t even that hungry and I’m not really a pastry person but hold my glass young man cos this is oomph! I’ll definitely have it again when opportunity strikes again⚡️⚡️⚡️also the place is very nice things are well put together the atmosphere upstairs was like caaaaalmmmmn so yesssss

After our pizza meal at Beyond the Dough, we just had to have some coffee and Mother Dough Bakery proved to be the perfect spot for coffee and some pastries. Food - 5*, their Coffee Lamington (S$8.50) and Almond Croissant (S$7) paired with Flat White (S$7.50), Mocha (S$8) and Cappuccino (S$7.50) were great enders to our fantastic lunch. Mother Dough really knows comfort baked goods and brews. Totally satisfied.

Came here while looking for a place to hill and chat with friends. They serve a variety of baked goods. But j just ordered an iced black ($6.50). The seating areas are on the upper floors. Coffee tasted regular to me. Nth mindblowing. Just a nice place for small gatherings i guess.

Really appreciated the water after the long trudge to the bakery ! Thoughtful touch! Though I suspect it’s for restaurant goers. 9$ for the whole wheat sourdough— staff is super nice! Closes rather early for s g standards at 5pm

Really good pastries, recommend getting the warm items as the pastry is so buttery and flakey after heating. Seating is very limited.

Finally a good bakery in town! Disclaimers by good I’m using the European standard of good pastries and this place could totally match the standard. The savory danish is the perfection, the flavor palate are 10/10. I mean, fresh prawn paste with Thai herbs on a puffy and not oily danish? What a beautiful creation. The sweet danish (marmalade and cream cheese) is also a good recipe but could be perfect if there’s less fillings which kind of overshadow the beautifully baked danish bread itself. I will come back again for more flavors though
